Great location—right across from the King of Prussia Mall—and the rooms are spacious enough for families. The patio with a firepit and the bar are nice touches that give the property some charm. Unfortunately, the customer service completely ruins the experience. From Paige at the front desk to the female bartender, the attitude and lack of hospitality were unacceptable. We checked in with a maintenance issue in our shower—no one ever came. We requested extra blankets and pillows via the Bonvoy app and followed up with a call to the front desk. We received a message saying the request was acknowledged, but nothing was ever delivered. What really pushed it over the edge was the bartender yelling at our children not to run down the hallway—while I was standing right there. My children were enjoying themselves, and it is not the bartender’s place to reprimand them. If this hotel is aiming to be family-friendly, it missed the mark completely. Sadly, this seems to be a pattern with hotels in our area that try to present a hospitable image—they start strong and quickly fall apart due to poor service. I would not recommend staying here, especially if you’re traveling with children.
For local users and travelers seeking accommodations, particularly for extended stays, under the "Hotels Near Of Me" category in the King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, area, the Residence Inn King of Prussia presents itself as a significant option. Located at 127 S Gulph Rd, King of Prussia, PA 19406, USA, this Marriott property is designed to provide home-like comforts for guests. For direct inquiries, reservations, or more information, you can reach the hotel at (484) 854-9720 or via mobile at +1 484-854-9720.
Beyond the mall, the hotel's environment benefits from its accessibility to major roadways, including the Pennsylvania Turnpike, I-76, and Route 202. This strategic placement makes it a practical base for business travelers heading to corporate parks and offices in the King of Prussia, Wayne, and Malvern areas, as well as for visitors to historical sites like Valley Forge National Historical Park and entertainment venues such as the Valley Forge Casino Resort. The property itself aims to create a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere, with outdoor features like a "patio with a firepit," adding a touch of charm and providing a pleasant space for relaxation. As a relatively "brand new hotel," it likely features modern design and facilities.
However, the provided reviews reveal a stark contrast in guest experiences, particularly concerning customer service. While one guest had a highly positive interaction with "Paige at the front desk," describing her as "so sweet" and helpful, even providing an "upgrade," another review details a significantly negative experience with staff. This negative feedback points to "attitude and lack of hospitality" from certain individuals, including "Paige at the front desk" and a "female bartender." Specific issues included a neglected "maintenance issue in our shower," unfulfilled requests for "extra blankets and pillows" despite acknowledgment, and a "bartender yelling at our children not to run down the hallway." This latter incident is particularly concerning for a hotel aiming to be "family-friendly," as it suggests a lack of understanding or patience with children. The sentiment that "customer service completely ruins the experience" and that the hotel "missed the mark completely" for families indicates a serious inconsistency in service delivery. The observation that "this seems to be a pattern with hotels in our area that try to present a hospitable image—they start strong and quickly fall apart due to poor service" is a critical general comment that potential guests should consider.
While the physical property is lauded for being "beautiful, brand new," and "exceptionally clean," the conflicting reports on customer service are a critical factor for potential guests to consider. For those prioritizing a seamless and consistently positive service experience, especially with children, the negative review suggests caution. However, for guests who might prioritize location, room spaciousness, and amenities like the full kitchen, and are prepared to navigate potential service inconsistencies, the Residence Inn King of Prussia could still be a viable option. The hotel's appeal lies in its strong physical attributes and convenient location, but the variable customer service experience needs to be objectively weighed. The recommendation to "not recommend staying here, especially if you’re traveling with children" from one highly dissatisfied guest is a significant piece of feedback.

Apr 20, 2025 · Denise HopkinsWhat a beautiful, brand new hotel. The room was great, exceptionally clean. Paige at the front desk helped answer all of my questions thoroughly when I called before the stay, and then we got to meet her when we arrived and she was so sweet! She gave us an upgrade which was much appreciated. I plan on staying here again in the future- I was very impressed with how clean it was, and all the amenities. Highly recommend!
Apr 09, 2025 · Elyse FisherOur group stayed here recently for a hockey tournament. Accommodations were excellent, rooms were very spacious especially the large kitchens. Scott was so hospitable and patient with our large group of kids. Couldn’t have asked for more. Thanks to everyone who worked hard to keep all guests happy during our stay!
