My husband and I stayed at the Crowne Plaza Philadelphia King Of Prussia and had a wonderful stay. Denise, who was working the front desk, couldn’t have been more pleasant and professional. She allowed us to check-in early which allowed us to spend more time shopping at the mall. It was a refreshing experience speaking with someone with exceptional customer service skills. She is a true asset to the IHG Hotel & Resorts company. I will certainly be staying here again. 5 stars! Thank you Denise and to all who work here.

Crowne Plaza Philadelphia - King of Prussia, an IHG Hotel Introduce

For individuals seeking "Hotels Near Of Me" in the King of Prussia, Pennsylvania area, the Crowne Plaza Philadelphia - King of Prussia, an IHG Hotel, stands as a prominent accommodation choice. Located at 260 Mall Blvd, King of Prussia, PA 19406, USA, this hotel is strategically positioned for both business and leisure travelers. It can be reached via phone at (610) 265-7500 or mobile at +1 610-265-7500, ensuring easy direct communication for potential guests.

The environment of the Crowne Plaza Philadelphia - King of Prussia is a significant asset, particularly due to its location. Situated on Mall Boulevard, the hotel is literally "across from the King of Prussia Mall," one of the largest and most renowned shopping destinations in the United States. This immediate proximity offers unparalleled convenience for guests interested in retail therapy, dining, and entertainment. Beyond the mall, King of Prussia is a major commercial hub with numerous corporate offices, making the hotel a suitable base for business travelers. The area also provides easy access to major highways, including the Pennsylvania Turnpike, allowing for convenient travel to other parts of the greater Philadelphia area, including Valley Forge National Historical Park. While the surrounding area is generally bustling due to the mall and commercial activity, the hotel aims to provide a comfortable retreat. Its placement within this vibrant commercial zone makes it a practical and appealing choice for a wide array of visitors.

Regarding services, the Crowne Plaza, as an IHG Hotel, is expected to deliver a high standard of hospitality, aligning with the brand's global reputation. Customer reviews indicate excellent front desk service, with one guest specifically highlighting Denise, who was "more pleasant and professional" and provided "exceptional customer service skills" by allowing an early check-in. This demonstrates a commitment to guest satisfaction and a proactive approach to accommodating individual needs. The hotel features an on-site restaurant, Stirlings Restaurant, serving American cuisine for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, along with a lounge, Stirlings Lounge. This provides convenient dining options for guests without needing to leave the premises. The hotel also offers room service during limited hours. For corporate guests, given its status as a significant conference venue, comprehensive meeting and event services are provided, including a dedicated Liberty Conference Center with a 130-seat amphitheater, two elegant ballrooms (Freedom and Independence), and multiple breakout rooms. On-site audio-visual services are also available. However, a significant point of concern highlighted by a customer review pertains to the quality of catering provided for corporate events. The review describes the food as "damn near inedible," with specific complaints about burnt, raw, and cold burgers, fatty ribs, and stale pretzels. This suggests a potential inconsistency in the quality of large-scale catering services, which is an important consideration for companies planning events there. Despite this, the positive feedback on individual guest service at the front desk remains strong.

The features of the Crowne Plaza Philadelphia - King of Prussia are extensive, catering to both individual travelers and large groups. The hotel boasts 227 stylish and well-appointed guest rooms designed for comfort, featuring amenities such as 37-inch HDTVs with premium channels, coffee/tea makers, mini-fridges, and free wired and wireless high-speed internet access. The Crowne Plaza Sleep Advantage program, with plush mattresses and luxurious Egyptian cotton sheets, is marketed to ensure a restful stay. For leisure and wellness, the hotel includes a 24-hour fitness center, and possibly a pool (though not explicitly stated in provided reviews for this specific Crowne Plaza, it's a common IHG amenity). The most prominent features, however, revolve around its meeting and event capabilities. With over 24,000 square feet of flexible meeting space, including two elegant ballrooms that can accommodate up to 900 guests (Freedom Ballroom) and 600 guests (Independence Ballroom), and 18 meeting rooms in total, it is well-equipped for conventions, corporate events, and social gatherings. The Liberty Conference Center features a 130-seat amphitheater, which is a significant asset for presentations and large-scale training. Additional features include free self-parking and being a pet-friendly establishment (with additional charges and restrictions), offering convenience and flexibility for various guest needs.

As for promotional information, the Crowne Plaza Philadelphia - King of Prussia, an IHG Hotel, leverages several key aspects to attract users searching for "Hotels Near Of Me." Primary promotional angles would include:

  • Premier Location: Its immediate proximity to the King of Prussia Mall is a top selling point, appealing to shoppers and those seeking diverse dining and entertainment options. Its convenient access to major highways and Valley Forge National Historical Park is also highlighted.
  • Exceptional Guest Service: The highly positive feedback on staff, particularly at the front desk, would be a strong promotional message, emphasizing personalized and professional care.
  • Extensive Meeting & Event Facilities: With 24,000 sq ft of flexible space, including large ballrooms and a dedicated conference center, the hotel actively promotes itself as "The Place to Meet" in King of Prussia, targeting corporate events, conferences, and weddings. Promotions might include special meeting packages.
  • Comfortable & Well-Appointed Rooms: The hotel promotes its stylish guest rooms with modern amenities and the Crowne Plaza Sleep Advantage, aiming to assure guests of a comfortable and restful stay.
  • On-Site Dining: The presence of Stirlings Restaurant and Lounge provides a convenient dining option, which would be promoted for its American cuisine and relaxed atmosphere.
  • IHG Rewards Benefits: As an IHG Hotel, it would leverage the IHG One Rewards program, offering loyalty benefits to repeat guests.
  • Pet-Friendly Accommodation: The hotel's policy of allowing pets (with associated fees) is a valuable promotional point for travelers with animal companions.

Our company held our annual training in one of the conference rooms. Worst experience ever. The food provided was damn near inedible. The burgers they served were somehow burnt, raw and cold at the same time. Also the condiments were either cocktail sauce or some type horseradish sauce. Also served ribs that were 90% fat and also cold. To top it off was the “soft” pretzels that not only cold, but like trying to bite a cinder block. Very disappointing, how the hotel wasn’t embarrassed to provide such a service is beyond me.

The entire staff was absolutely wonderful! Special shout out to the lovely lady that worked the hotel bar. I cannot remember her name, but she was so friendly, stylish and I appreciate her engaging me in a very pleasant conversation at the end of a long day of a conference I was attending!

Very disappointed with my experience at this hotel. I’m checking out tomorrow thankfully a day early but had to write this review while everything is fresh in my mind. The pros: Incredibly nice front desk staff! Also, very much like the shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, hand wash, and lotion in the bathroom. The shower is also decently large. Decent location close to KOP mall and access to major roadways- PA Turnpike, 202, etc. This is where the pros end though. Cons: The room is very small and very cluttered with too much furniture for such a small space. It feels almost claustrophobic. The walls are paper thin and I can hear every word my neighbors to the left say. People constantly slam doors and every time they do it sounds like a gunshot going off- makes for a terrible night of sleep. Speaking of that, the linens on the bed are scratchy and very uncomfortable. I highly recommend bringing your own pillows and blanket if you want to even hope for a halfway decent night of rest in between the slamming doors waking you up every 20 minutes. The climate control in the room is awful. One minute I’m freezing, the next I’m roasting. It literally feels like the heat is on, then it flips to air conditioning. The mini fridge is exactly that- mini. I can barely fit a few bottles of water and drinks in it and that’s about it. No microwave at all. Even though the shower is decently large, the water pressure is terrible. I sound very particular but I’m really not. I have had 50 business trips for my company over the past six years and this is truly the most abhorrent establishment I have stayed in. Think long and hard before you book here; there are much nicer, more comfortable hotels in the area to choose from.

We stayed there as part of our trip to Philly. It was a decent hotel with your typical continental breakfast. The front desk manager, Ackeem, was very pleasant and friendly. He recommended taking the septa into Philly instead and told us what bus to take. The only issue I had was the bathroom sink. Every time you finish washing your hands, the sink makes a gurgling noise as the water goes down the drain.
