This hotel was much more outdated than I expected. Our check-in process was a headache. Apparently the previous check-in staff member gave our room to someone else (which was assigned when I checked-in online) which is fine. But the check-in staff had us stand there and wait so they could go upstairs and see if someone was in the room I was assigned. While we waited the one check-in staff explained the entire situation which is fine, I don't care what room I had as long as it had the 2 beds in there. They made it seem like if the other guest was in our room they'd give us the room he was supposed to have. After what felt like 20-minutes of waiting (it was more like 10-15-minutes) the other staff member came downstairs and said someone was in fact in the room we were assigned at check-in. So then the other staff member says "well I'm just going to give you an entirely different room". Not really sure why that wasn't the solution to begin with... The shower was out of shampoo and body wash and almost out of conditioner. We didn't want to be bothered with someone coming in to restock, so we made do with what I brought from home for myself. I did alert them as we were leaving and again at check-out so they knew to restock for the next guest. We don't normally watch TV but actually wanted to this time because we were exhausted from all our Spring Break travel (this was our stop on the way home). The TV wouldn't consistently turn on when using the remote of the buttons directly on the TV. Super weird. The breakfast... just skip it. Go somewhere else or bring your own food. It was bad, really bad. I saw a couple fill their plate, sit down, and throw it right in the trash and say they would get breakfast somewhere else. The pool was small but fine. Overall the layout of the room was nice, but the TV should have a swivel so you could sit on the couch and watch TV. As it is right now, when you're sitting on the couch you're staring at the back of the TV. We had a minifridge and microwave which was nice for the leftover food we traveled with. There was a very small closet as well which we used to dry our bathing suits. The location of the hotel was a bit selling point for us. We were close to things to do (Valley Forge Park in particular), the mall, and a few other things we like to check-out when we travel. If I return to this area I would stay in this area again, but would probably try a different hotel.

Some guests have reported negative experiences with check-in processes, including rooms being double-booked. Concerns about safety have been raised due to instances like unauthorized entry into rooms. Financial discrepancies, such as unreversed deposits or additional charges, have also been a point of contention for some guests, leading to disputes with management. Cleanliness has also received mixed reviews, with some guests reporting visibly dirty rooms or stained furniture in prior stays, while others have found their rooms to be "cleanish" or "clean." The quality and consistency of the complimentary breakfast have been a notable point of dissatisfaction for some. These critical reviews suggest that while the hotel benefits from its brand association and location, there may be inconsistencies in service delivery, maintenance, and overall guest satisfaction that potential visitors should be aware of when considering this "Hotels Near Of Me" option. Despite these issues, the strategic location remains a strong advantage for many travelers.

Apr 01, 2025 · Anita KDon’t do it to yourself. When I arrived, the woman ahead of me speaking to the front desk staff said that a man had entered her room with a key while she was coming out of the shower. No explanation was given as to how that could happen. A man was working that night. I didn’t feel safe so I used a portable door lock. I only stayed here because I had enough points to get a free night with my rewards but I regret it. Last time I stayed here, they charged me an additional $50 deposit on top of the $100 incidentals fee and they never reversed the $50 charge, weeks later, so I had to call my bank and dispute it. They did it to me again. I called and they said the $50 should have been deducted from my $100 deposit. The manager emailed me and tried to give me the runaround and refused to admit I shouldn’t have been charged two separate deposits. From this, I have to conclude that they regularly throw this extra fee on and hope that most people won’t notice it. Besides the blatant attempt at theft, it’s such a waste of my time to have to call them, get the runaround, call corporate, get put on hold and then call the bank. Also the time before this, my room was filthy. The ottoman had what looked like skin flakes all over it. 🤢 I brought my own cleaning supplies this time just in case it was dirty again. This time, the room was cleanish but the furniture was in need of repair. I uploaded a photo to the photos section but don’t know how to upload it here. The girl at the front desk was lovely but the manager Anil is a thief. Read the other reviews and be safe, ladies. Just spend a little more and stay at the lovely Hyatt House 4 min away.
Apr 25, 2025 · CA nice hotel in a great area, near the mall! We stayed here for 1 night on our spring break vacation. Checked in quickly and got a nice room on the 6th floor. First thing I noticed was how well the room smelled, it smelled so nice! Very clean, good size with a king size bed! Good options for breakfast as well! Bacon, tortillas for wraps, eggs, yogurt, cereal. The employees were all very nice as well!
Mar 21, 2025 · Stephanie BarnesGreat hotel, great location, rooms are nice, an awesome breakfast and plenty of parking. Miss Kira at the front desk was an absolute delight. She was very helpful on our stay, and we hope she's there if we ever come back. There is NOT a hot tub at this location.
Apr 02, 2025 · Tony RobinsonToilets backed up, initial check-in was unprofessional. The elevators smelled and the pool, gym and spa subpar. The breakfast is not worth eating. Cold coffee that you have to heat in the microwave, warm creamer, hard bagels. Read previous comments. Wish I did. This hotel great location, but the staff is inefficient and rude. I was given a plunger to plunge toilet the first night of check in after it had taken them time to find one. After driving 36 hours and was told I could get an early check in for the room that my son did advance purchase a month prior the GM Anil Bhavanani told me they had nothing available, then stated the room was not paid for (loudly and unprofessionally), Would not let me explain and made me call guest services to confirm the advance purchase (who did) then he immediately had a room?!?! My youngest heard him and another clerk discussing the situation very negatively and laughing. They do not notate the account when you make complaints. They knew my toilet was not working and when my son called to complain stated the initial complaint was Wednesday not Tuesday. Yes they offered to change my room the last night I was staying but there were other guest who toilets were not working and it was 11pm and my toddler granddaughter was sleep. They should have offered the first complaint instead of handing me a plunger. I was beyond over the experience and felt unwelcome and uncomfortable.
