I was placed in an accessible room without notice. I have selected high floors in my profile but my room was on the 3rd floor which is the ground floor for this specific hotel. There was hair in the shower and I reported to the front desk, I asked him to send housecleaning service while I was out, he didn’t pay attention, didn’t ask me for my room number and when I gave it to him he didn’t look it up or write it down, came back and they didn’t clean the room. The room was also very dusty, probably due to a broken vent. I really liked the size of the room and the bed was really comfortable. The hotel is located in a nice area close to the office.

Sheraton Valley Forge King of Prussia Introduce

For local users in search of "Hotels Near Of Me," the Sheraton Valley Forge King of Prussia offers a lodging option situated at 480 N Gulph Rd, King of Prussia, PA 19406, USA. This Marriott-affiliated hotel is a known entity in the area, often considered by those visiting for business, leisure, or events. For direct inquiries, the hotel can be reached at (484) 238-1800 or via mobile at +1 484-238-1800.

The environment of the Sheraton Valley Forge King of Prussia is one of its notable aspects. Located on North Gulph Road, it places guests in close proximity to some of the region's most significant attractions and business centers. Most prominently, the hotel is just a short distance from the King of Prussia Mall, one of the largest shopping destinations in the United States, offering an expansive array of retail stores, restaurants, and entertainment options. This proximity is a significant draw for many travelers. Additionally, the historic Valley Forge National Historical Park is also nearby, providing opportunities for outdoor activities, historical exploration, and scenic views. For business travelers, the hotel's location is convenient for access to numerous corporate offices and the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center at Oaks. One guest noted that the "hotel is located in a nice area close to the office," underscoring its appeal for corporate visitors. However, it is important to note a specific environmental detail mentioned by a reviewer: "No sidewalks. So even though it’s close to a lot of things, it’s not walk-friendly." This indicates that while the hotel is geographically close to amenities, pedestrian access might be limited, suggesting reliance on vehicle transportation for exploring the immediate vicinity.

In terms of services, the Sheraton Valley Forge King of Prussia typically provides a range of amenities characteristic of the Sheraton brand. Common services include on-site dining options, fitness facilities, and business services. The hotel generally features a restaurant and bar, offering convenience for guests seeking meals and beverages without leaving the premises. Guest rooms typically come with complimentary Wi-Fi, televisions, and other standard in-room conveniences. For business travelers, meeting and event spaces are usually available, catering to corporate conferences, banquets, and other gatherings. However, recent customer feedback sheds light on inconsistencies in service delivery. One guest reported hair in the shower and a dusty room, suggesting issues with housekeeping consistency. Furthermore, a frustrating interaction at the front desk was detailed: "I reported to the front desk, I asked him to send housecleaning service while I was out, he didn’t pay attention, didn’t ask me for my room number and when I gave it to him he didn’t look it up or write it down, came back and they didn’t clean the room." This indicates a potential lapse in front desk responsiveness and attention to guest requests. Another significant concern raised by multiple reviews is the "no hot water" issue, described as a "reoccurring problem at this location." This is a fundamental service expectation for any hotel and its recurring nature is a serious drawback. The same review also mentioned a power loss that persisted for an extended period, which also appears to be a "recurring issue." While one guest praised "Tyrone, one of the serving staff" as "PHENOMENAL" and noted that "the staff is friendly," these positive remarks about individual staff members are somewhat overshadowed by systemic service issues related to hot water and power reliability.

The features of the Sheraton Valley Forge King of Prussia include its room configurations and general hotel amenities. Guest rooms at Sheraton properties are generally designed for comfort and functionality. One reviewer specifically complimented the "size of the room and the bed was really comfortable." This suggests that the fundamental comfort elements are present. However, the same guest was placed in an "accessible room without notice" despite having a preference for high floors, and their assigned room was on the "3rd floor which is the ground floor for this specific hotel." This highlights potential issues with honoring guest preferences or effectively communicating room assignments. The presence of hair in the shower and dust in the room, possibly due to a "broken vent," points to cleanliness and maintenance issues that detract from the overall quality of the features. While the hotel offers a fitness center and an indoor pool, and often boasts a club lounge for elite members, the core functionality of these amenities can be compromised by the aforementioned issues. For instance, an indoor pool's appeal is lessened without consistent hot water for showers afterward. The hotel is equipped with conference facilities, making it a viable option for events, but the reported power outages could severely impact such functions. The overall impression of features is a mixed bag, with some positives like room size and bed comfort being offset by significant maintenance and operational shortcomings.

Regarding promotional information, Sheraton hotels, being part of the Marriott Bonvoy program, typically offer various promotions to loyalty members, including points accrual, elite benefits, and exclusive rates. Guests can often find deals for longer stays, package deals that include breakfast, or discounts for booking in advance. The hotel's website would be the primary source for current promotional offers, showcasing any special rates for business travelers, groups, or seasonal discounts. However, when considering promotional claims, potential guests should temper expectations with the feedback regarding recurring operational issues. While the hotel may promote comfortable beds and a great location, the unreliability of hot water and power could significantly impact a guest's experience, regardless of promotional benefits. The strong praise for individual staff members like Tyrone could be highlighted as a promotional point, focusing on the hotel's friendly service culture. However, the phrase "But just save yourself the headache" from a reviewer, despite acknowledging friendly staff, suggests that the underlying issues are substantial enough to outweigh any positive aspects. For local users searching "Hotels Near Of Me," it is crucial to balance the attractive location and potential brand promotions with the concerning reports of fundamental service and maintenance failures when making a booking decision for the Sheraton Valley Forge King of Prussia.

To start, I am not one to leave a negative review, so I’ll start with the positive. Tyrone, one of the serving staff, is PHENOMENAL! Truly the bright light in the dark of our stay. Literally. The beds are comfortable, but we had no hot water during our stay. In reading other reviews, I see this is a reoccurring problem at this location. If you don’t like Luke-warm showers, choose somewhere else. Additionally, we lost power during our real estate conference and it never returned, even 13 hours later. This is also a recurring issue here, apparently. Bottom line - it was clean enough, and the staff is friendly. But just save yourself the headache. No sidewalks. So even though it’s close to a lot of things, it’s not walk-friendly.

I'm updating this review from 2 to 5 stars on service and 4 to 5 on location. Why? The location was most likely due to me being tired and irritated when I arrived, in part, documented in my original review below. For service? While my original review about getting them (this location) on telephone is accurate, these staff people are honest. A friend staying in a different room lost a silver bracelet very dear to her. They found it and gave it back to her. For me, their machine failed to properly dispense a soda, they gave me two similar sodas in its place, brought us extra towels, etc. I'd absolutely stay here again, though they need a better way of people calling the front desk from outside. Not everything is a reservation. I wanna start by saying that the service at this location has been fine. The problem was attempting to do something as simple as call the front desk to say, "Hey, I'll be up to two hours late due to work obligations, please don't give my room up." After 40+ minutes, I finally got a lady who knew what she was doing but never got ahold of the front desk at this hotel. 40+ minutes for something that simple? This is supposed to be a Marriott property? Guess they don't care anymore. The AI system they use has ZERO intelligence built into it. You think you're calling the property, you press 2 for an existing reservation, and it tells you that the number is only for new reservations. You can not make this garbage up.

Service was impeccable. Michael hats off to you sir. Keep up the good work. And thank you for all the accommodations you made for us. Clean rooms, comfortable beds. Lovely pool area and gym.

I don’t want anyone else to have the same issues we had so I feel obligated to share my negative experience. I’ll start with the positive. Tyrone, is PHENOMENAL! Truly one of the most positive and welcoming individuals I’ve ever encountered. He made a bad situation much better and lightened the mood substantially. Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. We arrived early for a conference and they let us check in early. When we entered the room I tried to call the front desk because the WiFi didn’t connect, but the phone didn’t work. They did replace the phone and we were able to connect to the free WiFi. That is where the nice things I have to say end. We had no hot water during our stay. In reading other reviews, I see this is a reoccurring problem at this location. If you don’t like cold showers, choose somewhere else. Additionally, the power is inconsistent. When we returned from dinner, the lights in the entrance lost didn’t work but the ones in the bathroom did. Another party to my trip arrived in their room to a broken A/C and heater. A few hours later the entire hotel lost power. 13 hours later, still no power. This is also a recurring issue, based on other reviews. Bottom line - it was clean enough, and the staff is friendly. But just save yourself the headache. No sidewalks. So even though it’s close to a lot of things, it’s not walk-friendly and the shuttle was never available.
