Usually, I'm not picky with hotels. As long as it's clean and not roach infested, I'm happy. But this place proves what an extra $40 can buy you. It's noticeably a higher quality hotel. The room is nicer, the hallway is cleaner, the breakfast is better, the people less trashy...... It's a deal for what you get.

Jul 20, 2025 · Daniel DuranThis hotel is fantastic. It was super clean, the bed was comfy, and some rooms have fabulous views of the river. The staff was super friendly as well. Don't miss out on the beautiful views at sunset from the rooftop bar/restaurant. Also, there is a long walking trail alongside the river, which is nice for outdoor exercise.
Jul 24, 2025 · Meghan BabineauxThis is probably one of the BEST hotels we have ever stayed at. Alex, the front desk supervisor was SO helpful. I cannot express how helpful and kind Alex was to us. We had trouble getting our reservation refunded due to booking our stay with third party website, and Alex called them for us to fix everything when they were giving us a hard time, she deserves a big raise for all the help she gave us when she didn't have to. The room we stayed in was also very nice with the river view and was very clean, and the complimentary breakfast was amazing. Highly recommend staying here!
Jun 18, 2025 · Kaylee ParkerDoing a cross country trip and was just looking for a place to stay for the night! Didn't preplan. Wow did we find the place. The views of the Mississippi River from our room and the River room ..amazing ! Anthony the bartender in the River view bar was absolutely the best. He was fun. Made great drinks and had the history of the area. He has another person who made the food for the area (name?) He was super nice and amazing !! But the highlight was checking in with Kristine. What a great person after driving 12 hours she was the best ! Talked about our trip. Made sure we were happy and just was absolutely the nicest check in we have had on our 5000 mike road trip across the country. I would come back here for her and the service of the staff!! Kudos to your team.
Jul 11, 2025 · Tammy FossAfter driving 6 hours to attend a funeral this is what we were met with for our weekend: Room was decently cleaned but there was thick dust on the bathroom counters. We requested a high level room for the view but looked directly out at construction. It was vaguely apocalyptic. When I set my bag next to the bed by the room divider, it knocked against it and a board fell off that was clearly taped on and a bug was stuck to the tape. The common areas weren't well maintained as there was a wine stain on a chair we almost sat in. As far as the pool goes, very skinny pool with limited space around it and limited seating . The general area did not look well maintained or clean either. Extremely loud in there and if "big kids" are splashing around there's no room for "smaller kids" to swim and use the pool area. Also, no hot tub. We requested this room at a reduced rate but never received a confirmation email. I had to call to confirm they received our reservation for the king high room. They confirmed but we never got an email. We also got charged full price (almost $500 for 2 nights) and when they said they'd email a receipt ...guess what? Never got it. When checking out we asked for a dolly and they said they only had 4 for the whole hotel. 9 floors and 4 dollies? Seems under equipped for a weekend. Especially if they're going to allow high school sports teams to take over entire floors of the hotel. This hotel needs better staffing, way better cleaning and to be better equipped for the capacity they claim to be able to accommodate. There were at least 3 cars parked in front of the front doors for over 3 hours right in the loading lane. Because of all the teams there that weekend, there was nowhere to park. Trying to pack a car with 2 adults and a child and cross a street is FAR from convenient. As a Hyatt, I expected better. Clearly I need to lower that bar.
