We stayed one night as we were going to the Saturday night showing of Moulin Rouge. Ace and Kayla checked us in and both were super polite, helpful and efficient. The hotel lobby is so calming and has a subtle nice scent. In fact that’s the vibe of the whole hotel. Our room was lovely with comfy beds and pillows and thick, large-sized bath towels. We didn’t eat at the restaurant there or go to the bar or swimming pool so I can’t comment on that, but the pool area looked nice. The fitness center is spacious and has a bunch of equipment. We liked the short walk to the Majestic theater, some good restaurants, and St Mary’s church. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Thank you for such a pleasant experience!

The hotel restaurant was delicious and all the employees were super friendly. I love how modern the rooms felt and the pool was a lovely amenity to have! If i’m ever in San Antonio again, I would absolutely stay here again.

At check-in, the staff that helped us told us that we had breakfast included in our rate (with no mention of exclusions or fine print) and told us that brunch would be served from 10am-2pm. We are early risers so we were surprised by the late start time. The following day we woke up at 7am, after a terrible night of sleep due to the light walls/door slamming on our floor, and called to confirm the hours for brunch and we were now told 7am-2pm. This was actually accurate (the first employer was wrong). We went downstairs to the Cavalier and asked 2 different people how brunch worked since it was included in our rate. Both of them said that we could order whatever we wanted from the a la carte menu and it would be taken off our account at checkout. We ordered and the meal was ok. Then, at checkout we were surprised by additional charges to our account from brunch — apparently there was a limit to our “breakfast is included” rate and 3 employees failed to mention it, even when asked directly. Train your employees better. We would not come back to this location. The staff at checkout was also very rude and dense.

Traveling with a toddler can be unpredictable, but the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, cared for, and welcomed every step of the way. From check-in to checkout, everyone was kind, professional, and attentive—but I want to especially recognize Anthony Huembes and another wonderful manager whose name, unfortunately, escapes me. They were incredibly accommodating to both my wife’s and son’s needs. Any small hiccup we encountered was handled quickly and graciously—and always with a genuine smile. Our room was immaculately clean and beautifully designed. That alone elevated our entire stay. You can tell they take pride in creating a space that feels both luxurious and homey, which made all the difference for our little family. We had breakfast at the hotel restaurant, and the warmth from the hostess and our waitress made the meal feel extra special. Since we were there over Easter, we were also pleasantly surprised by the kid-friendly activities they had planned—our son absolutely loved getting his picture taken with the Easter Bunny! Another bonus? The amazing restaurant we dined at the night before was only five minutes away, making everything feel convenient and stress-free. Honestly, there aren’t many reasons I’d typically find myself coming to San Antonio—but this hotel alone changed that. It’s become my wife and I’s number one spot. This was, without a doubt, one of the best hotel stays we’ve ever had. Highly recommend for families, couples, or anyone looking for a polished, welcoming, and well-run place to stay. We had breakfast at the restaurant every morning of our stay, Miguel was our server. He was very attentive, very polite. All of the staff at the restaurant were, but Miguel definitely was very welcoming and we really enjoyed chatting with him in the morning. Our food was good. I didn’t really interact with any of the other staff, so I can’t comment on them other than the young lady that was the hostess at breakfast and she was very sweet too. This hotel is lovely. Very clean, smells good room is Nice, very comfortable and I would definitely stay here every time I am in San Antonio. We also visited the pop-up bar and it was decorated beautifully. The service there was not very good. Our bartender took over 10 -15 minutes to greet us, there was only one other couple at the bar and they already had drinks in hand. No one else was there so I was a little surprised that the service was not better.There was an older couple that walked in and he was rushed over there by the hostess and took their order before he even asked us what we wanted so that was the only hiccup. We had one drink, and did not return because of that, but I will say it was beautifully decorated. I’m sure it would’ve been a nice place to stay at a little Longer. The hotel is very quiet having stayed a little closer to the river walk last year. This was much quieter, But walking back late the area can be a little sketchy. so all in all, I will definitely be back next year!
