Room had a whirlpool tub, a sleep sofa and chair with partition to the king size bed! Everything we needed and as a bonus we were able to get mlb Detroit Tigers game on TV. The breakfast buffet included items for gluten free which the wife appreciated. We will stay here again. We know three couples that live in Ishpeming and Marquette . Very convenient. And we ate at the Jasper Brewery which is walking distance from Inn.

Jul 11, 2025 · Linda OsbornIt was a pleasant stay, the room was clean and well appointed. We had a handicap room because of an injury my wife has. The room had a standard tub, not a walk-in shower. This made it difficult for my wife to take a shower. That's why we requested this type of room. Also, when our grandchildren came to visit us, we were not allowed to take them to the pool. We were told that the pool was only for registered guests. That was never an issue with other facilities.
Jun 06, 2025 · Lee LaMereRooms was clean and hotel in a good location, reasonable rates. Back entrance door of the building had a keycard unlock but it was broke so anyone could enter. Beds was comfy for my grand daughter but me and the wife didn't care for it. Cable wifi AC. We would stop again.
Jun 20, 2025 · USSnyperI absolutely love staying here! The rooms are spacious and clean with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The pool and common areas are always clean and in working order. Much thanks to all the staff as well for their courteousness!
May 15, 2025 · Amy CoyneWe’ve traveled from downstate each April for the past several years and have consistently stayed at Jasper Ridge, renting one of the larger cabins specifically so we can spend quality time with our in-town family. The location is convenient, and the pool has always been a highlight for the kids. While the property is outdated, the amenities are minimal, and the cleaning is often sub-par, we’ve overlooked these shortcomings because it allowed us to be close to family and enjoy some time together. However, this most recent visit left us incredibly disappointed. In the middle of swimming with a few family members—something we’ve done during every stay without a single issue—we were abruptly and rudely told that the pool was for paying guests only and that all visitors had to leave immediately. Not only was this embarrassing, but it was also the first time we had ever heard of such a rule. This policy is not posted anywhere, was never mentioned at check-in, and has never been enforced during any of our previous visits. For years, we’ve stayed in large, mostly empty cabins and have never been given the impression that having family visit—especially to use a barely occupied pool—was against the rules. If policies have changed, they should be clearly communicated in advance and enforced respectfully, not sprung on loyal guests mid-visit in an unnecessarily harsh manner. Given the steep cost of the cabin, the lack of transparency, and the poor overall hospitality, we’re seriously questioning whether we’ll return next year.
