Unfortunately this place didn't live up to the hype. The cheap looking couch in my room was covered in stains my mattress topper was stained as well. My fridge didn't work, nor did one of the lights above my bed. One of the lamps grounding pin was broken off into the socket, which is an electrical hazard. I told the front desk about it and they said they would send an "engineer" but never did. Housekeeping they left my room looking ransacked one of the days they came through. Guess they vacuumed around the night stand and desk but couldn't be bothered to put things back in place. The food and drinks are very expensive but mediocre at best. The staff were friendly so that was nice. I'll be looking for better options next time I'm in town.

True kimpton gems Rachel was very friendly and helpful with all my travel needs. I recently stayed at Kinton Overland Hotel for the second time, and once again, I was beyond impressed with the exceptional service. A special shout-out to the three ladies who assisted me during check-in—they were professional, welcoming, and incredibly efficient. Makayla,Terri and Rachel. From the moment I arrived, they greeted me with warm smiles and made the entire process seamless. Their attention to detail and friendly demeanor made me feel valued as a returning guest. It’s rare to find such consistent, top-tier customer service, and these ladies truly set the standard for hospitality. The hotel itself remains a fantastic choice, with clean and comfortable rooms, great amenities, and a welcoming atmosphere. But what truly stands out is the outstanding staff who go above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. Thank you again for another wonderful experience. I’ll definitely be returning!
Mar 27, 2025 · ratraill19RUN AWAY! Update: 5/23/2025 Still no call!!! We are told by IHG, they let Kimpton resolve internally. So basically nothing gets resolved. Would NOT recommend this place to my DOG!!! A disappointing experience. If ( one of 3 names we were given) the GM had bothered to call us, this review may have been avoided. Dumped by Delta with little choice, we showed up here at 1 am to be greeted to a lobby full of people and the RUDEST, SLOWEST front desk agent EVER??!!! We finally get in our room after 3 AM!!!!!Other guests were getting even worse treatment. So after a very few hours of sleep due to airplanes, we have to get up before the restaurant closes. We take our limited luggage and run into the maid in the hall. She must have assumed we were checking out. We weren’t. I forgot my hat. Went back and our room was COMPLETELY CLEANED FOR THE NEXT GUEST. WE HAVE UNTIL NOON! Our flight doesn’t leave until 3 pm. So, we are sitting in the lobby after paying full price for a room that got used 5 hours. Next… given bogus manager names by the front desk. Finally figured out that one of them was the shuttle driver. Shady stuff. Have 3 “GM” names now and NOT ONE OF THEM HAS CALLED US BACK. IHG customer service line does not have that info. Very convenient, right? Outsourcing so no one has to be accountable. The restaurant staff were the only bright spot in this stay although my Benedict had fried eggs, not poached like the photos.

Its convenient airport shuttle makes arrivals and departures seamless, setting the tone for a stress-free stay. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the front desk staff, whose hospitality was matched by a wonderful surprise—an upgrade to the presidential suite. The suite was expansive, offering breathtaking views of the Porsche track and airport, a perfect backdrop for both relaxation and excitement. One of the suite’s highlights was the luxurious soaking tub, an ideal retreat after a long day of travel. Although the rooftop bar was closed during our visit, its panoramic views hint at the vibrant atmosphere it must offer on a warm day. Our dining experiences at Apron for both dinner and breakfast were exceptional, with attentive service and delicious cuisine rounding out our stay. Though brief, our time at the Kimpton Overland was nothing short of fantastic. I look forward to returning soon.

We talked with Makayla mostly, and she always checked in and made sure we had everything we needed. The shuttle was convenient, the rooms were so comfortable, and the amenities were awesome. We particularly loved the restaurant on site.
