My husband booked a two queen suite well in advance for our family of 6 for an overnight stay before our flight. When we arrived and got into our room we couldn’t get the ac to work. I called the front desk, the maintenance man came up and advised the air conditioner was broken. He radioed the front desk and told us we would need to move to what I presumed would be another room like we booked. Instead we were moved to two single rooms quite a distance from each other. As we left for dinner I went to the front desk and asked why, I was told there were no more rooms available like we’d booked. I explained how this was less than ideal given we were traveling with 4 children but was told I should be grateful we were offered any option by the night manager, Anthony. While I understood no availability, I have no comprehension for a manager who doesn’t understand basic courtesy and customer service. After returning from dinner I discovered the ac in my room didn’t work either but I dealt with it at the risk of seeing what the next option I’d be given was. Around 11:30 pm the door to my room was opened, thankfully I had the metal security latch engaged. At checkout I found out they had rented my room to another party. The next morning I got up early to get coffee and the bar area was completely trashed, dirty cups along the whole bar and all the tables. Choosing to stay at an Embassy Suites comes with the expectation you do so to ensure you receive top notch service at better than average accommodations. We received neither. Our family will never stay here again and honestly will probably avoid the Embassy brand altogether in the future. A few notable mentions; the maintenance man was amazing and had far more customer service skills than either of the people at the front desk and the morning manager on the day of our departure was very nice and quite apologetic as she explained what had occurred the night before when my door was opened.

Customer reviews for the Embassy Suites by Hilton Atlanta Airport North present a mixed, yet insightful, picture. On one hand, many guests highlight exceptional aspects of their stay. The complimentary breakfast, particularly the made-to-order omelets, receives consistent praise for its quality and variety. The comfort of the beds and the cleanliness of the rooms are also frequently lauded. Guests often describe the rooms as "spacious and clean," providing a "home feel." The convenient location near the airport and the reliability of the airport shuttle service are major positives. Moreover, specific staff members often receive glowing reviews for their "super patient, kind, and managed to find space" attitude, as noted by a stranded traveler praising Siobhan/Shavawn for going "above and beyond to help." This indicates a strong dedication to customer service from some team members.
However, a significant portion of the feedback also reveals concerning issues that prospective guests should be aware of. One detailed review recounts a highly problematic experience, beginning with a pre-booked two-queen suite for a family of six that could not be honored due to a broken air conditioner. This led to the family being moved to two separate single rooms, "quite a distance from each other," despite the original booking. The guest also encountered a "night manager, Anthony," whose customer service was described as lacking "basic courtesy" and who allegedly told the guest they "should be grateful we were offered any option." Further complications included a broken AC in the newly assigned room and, alarmingly, the original room being rented out to another party, leading to an unauthorized entry attempt into the guest's room late at night, thankfully prevented by a security latch. This specific incident highlights potential issues with room maintenance, booking management, and inconsistent customer service standards.
Another point of criticism is the cleanliness of common areas, with one review mentioning the bar area being "completely trashed, dirty cups along the whole bar and all the tables" early in the morning. This suggests that while individual rooms might be clean, the upkeep of public spaces can sometimes fall short. The discrepancy in customer service between staff members (e.g., the "amazing" maintenance man and apologetic morning manager versus the "very rude" night manager) also points to potential inconsistencies in training or operational standards. While overall ratings tend to be positive, these detailed negative experiences, particularly concerning fundamental aspects like room allocation, maintenance, and staff professionalism, are crucial for a balanced perspective.
In summary, the Embassy Suites by Hilton Atlanta Airport North offers a robust package of amenities, including spacious two-room suites, complimentary made-to-order breakfast, and an evening reception, making it an attractive option for "Hotels Near Of Me" near Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. Its location and shuttle service are highly valued. While many guests report excellent experiences and praise the staff's hospitality and the hotel's cleanliness, it is vital for potential guests to be aware of the occasional, yet significant, reported issues concerning room maintenance, booking integrity, and inconsistent customer service. It is advisable for travelers to communicate their specific needs clearly during booking and check-in, especially for family accommodations, and to manage expectations regarding potential service variability.

Apr 06, 2025 · amanda solomon martinThanks to Delta being Delta, I was stranded in Atlanta. All the hotels were fully booked. I was able to make my way to the Embassy Suites around 1:30 am, which turned out to be fully booked as well. Siobhan / Shavawn (sorry if I'm misspelling!) was super patient, kind, and managed to find space for me and another gentleman who was also stranded. She went above and beyond to help, which feels rare these days. The room was comfortable, clean, and had everything I needed.

Our entire family had a blast at the complimentary happy hour – it was such a fun way to unwind together! And let’s talk about the breakfast; it was absolutely delicious with a delightful array of options that made it hard to choose! Overall, it was just a joyful stay! If you are planning to go to Atlanta you have to stay here.
Jan 09, 2025 · Vicki RingleThis is a pretty nice hotel. They have a large number of breakfast options, including made to order eggs and such. The rooms are clean, quiet, and comfortable, the lobby is very nice and the entire hotel is well maintained. They have happy hour every evening with light snacks and reasonably priced drinks. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting ATL
