Filthy hotel, noisy, lots of bugs, bed had a crazy sink in the middle, nasty towels, the key coder didn't work so I had to get the desk attendant to open my room every time I stepped out. Were talking 15-20 min wait to get in my room every time. The morning of check out as I loaded my truck I had to close my room door to ensure safety only 2 trips, 1 hr and 45 min to get in my room for the second trip. Made me late to drop my freight. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone!!!
When searching for "Hotels Near Of Me" with an emphasis on affordability in the Center Valley area of Pennsylvania, Knights Inn Center Valley often appears as a prominent budget-friendly option. Located at 4942 PA-309, Center Valley, PA 18034, USA, and accessible via phone at (610) 797-9292 or mobile at +1 610-797-9292, this motel aims to provide simple, economical lodging for travelers. However, it's essential for potential guests to approach this option with a balanced perspective, considering both its basic offerings and the varied feedback from past visitors.
The environment at Knights Inn Center Valley is that of a no-frills, economy motel. It is located directly on a state highway (PA-309), which grants it excellent visibility and easy access for travelers driving through the area. While this provides convenience for those on the road, it can also contribute to noise levels, as indicated by some guest comments. The property consists of 29 rooms spread across two floors, suggesting a smaller, more intimate setting compared to larger chain hotels.
Unlike more upscale establishments, the Knights Inn does not feature extensive landscaping or elaborate common areas. Its focus is on providing a straightforward place to sleep. However, the surrounding area of Center Valley itself offers attractions, with The Promenade Shops at Saucon Valley being a short drive away, providing access to dining and shopping. The overall aesthetic is functional rather than luxurious, designed for travelers prioritizing cost over extensive amenities. While some positive reviews mention "surprisingly nice rooms," other, more critical feedback describes the property as "filthy" and raises concerns about insects and general cleanliness, suggesting a variable guest experience.
The services offered at Knights Inn Center Valley are primarily geared towards providing basic necessities for a short stay. A 24-hour front desk is available, ensuring guests can check in or seek assistance at any time, which is a crucial service for travelers arriving late or needing early departures. The hotel also features free Wi-Fi in all rooms and public areas, a standard amenity that allows guests to stay connected. There is a restaurant on-site, offering a convenient dining option, and coffee/tea is available in common areas. Free self-parking is also provided, with ample space for RV/bus/truck parking, which is beneficial for a variety of vehicle types.
However, customer reviews present a mixed picture regarding service consistency. While some guests might find the staff adequate for basic needs, significant negative feedback points to issues such as non-functional key coders, leading to long waits for room access, and instances where the front desk was unattended for extended periods. There are also mentions of rude or dismissive staff. These experiences suggest that while the advertised services are in place, their execution can be inconsistent, potentially impacting the guest experience negatively. Housekeeping services are typically offered daily.
Knights Inn Center Valley's features align with its budget-friendly positioning. Each guestroom comes equipped with air conditioning, ensuring a comfortable temperature. For convenience, rooms also include a microwave, a refrigerator, and a coffee/tea maker, allowing guests to store and prepare basic food items. Televisions with cable channels are provided for in-room entertainment. Private bathrooms with shower/tub combinations and complimentary toiletries are standard. Ironing sets may be available upon request. Smoking rooms are also offered, catering to guests who prefer this option.
One critical point repeatedly raised in reviews is the presence of pests such as "bugs," "roaches," and "bed bugs," which severely detracts from the comfort and cleanliness that are fundamental expectations for any accommodation. Other feedback mentions issues with beds, such as a "crazy sink in the middle," and "nasty towels." While the hotel offers basic amenities to function as a place to sleep, these reported issues regarding the condition of the rooms and the presence of pests are significant concerns for potential guests. It's important to note that the hotel generally does not allow pets, according to sources like BringFido, so travelers with pets should seek alternative accommodations.
Knights Inn Center Valley primarily competes on its price point, positioning itself as an exceptionally affordable option when searching for "Hotels Near Of Me" in the Center Valley area. It is often among the lowest-priced hotels available, which can be a strong draw for budget-conscious travelers. The official Knights Inn brand promotes itself on providing "budget-friendly stays" with "clean rooms, comfortable beds, and convenient amenities." Special offers for seniors (55 and older) may be available through the brand's network, offering potential savings.
However, any promotional information needs to be weighed carefully against the significant negative feedback available online. While the hotel is geographically convenient to attractions such as Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom (approximately an 11-minute drive), the Promenade Shops at Saucon Valley (around 3 minutes drive), DeSales University, and various corporate centers, potential guests should temper their expectations regarding comfort and service quality given the recurring issues reported in recent customer reviews. For those prioritizing absolute lowest cost and willing to overlook potential deficiencies, it might serve as a place to sleep. However, for anyone seeking a comfortable, clean, and problem-free stay, especially for extended periods, it is strongly advised to review the most current guest feedback and consider alternatives in the area, even if they come at a slightly higher price point.

Aug 28, 2024 · A Tee aka Mr. Google ReviewWow this place really went down hill from 10 yrs ago. When I was working there. Me and my best friend used to clean this place and we had so many customers coming in and out of that place. But that was then. Now I have my own cleaning business.
Jul 29, 2024 · Elizabeth Cooper“The staff was mediocre. The receptionists were not helpful at all. The rooms were messy , and no room service to speak of .Will not be coming back! “I recently had to stay at Knights inn, and it was a horrible experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff was rude beyond measure I was clearly not a priority , made my stay the worst ever. The hotel’s poor location made exploring impossible without driving every where, I can’t wait to leave here . I do not recommended! This place was a nightmare and probably has bugs
Feb 15, 2024 · Cameron CaleDO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES stay at the MOTEL. This place is a dump and should be demolished. Apparently it offers long term stay so people actually live here. I though I was back in college in a dorm because half the night there was loud talking, music, doors being opened and closed and I saw a roach in the bathroom. There are still command hooks on the wall from when someone used to live in this room. Several tiles in the bathroom along the wall are chipped off and the paint in various places is chipped off the walls. And both beds sag. Oh yeah and it’s supposed to be no smoking but the whole building smells like an ashtray.
Jun 18, 2023 · James BrownAdvertised as "no frills," is apt for this location. Basic, taken for granted, amenities don't exist. The beds are hard, with springs poking in all places. It is a tiny, sparse place with nothing pleasing for the eye to look upon. The plastic covered beds are ridiculously warm to sleep on with blankets and bedding that fails to make you feel cool while you rest. The walls are thin, giving you ample opportunity to hear the crying child across the hall, or the snoring next door, or the fighting down the hall. Every night, I could hear what sounded like someone walking the corridor testing the door handles. I did not feel safe, even with the chain and deadbolt on the door. The shower did put out hot water, but the tub did not look like it had been cleaned recently. The AC unit made the room cold, but it was loud, and did nothing for the uncomfortable bed. It's a cheap stay, but probably best used as a hookup destination for a couple hours of sex, rather than an overnight visit.
