I'm not sure how to rate this place. The gentleman at the front desk was so nice and personable. The room was okay. It was clean for the most part, however the room needs some improvements. In front of thr door was what appeared to be trash - there was torn paper on the floor right in front of our door. We had to kick it out of the way. The door handle to the bathroom was missing. The bed although comfy, the sheets had some piling. The remote was not working but the nice gentleman at the front desk, made sure I got one that worked. The air we thought didn't work initially but after looking , I discovered it was unplugged. The bathroom, now that's a thing. I realized late there was only ONE washcloth. Because it was after midnight, I just used a hand towel. The tub needs to be replaced or something. There was old water damage to the door in the bathroom. Also, it looks like a potential health concern. The hole in the sink to prevent leaks had black gunk in it that looked like mold. There's like a repair at the bottom that didn't seem to clean. Breakfast was really good. This was room 307. Overall, it was an ok stay because of the front desk being so attentive and pleasant.

As one customer review noted, "The gentleman at the front desk was so nice and personable... The remote was not working but the nice gentleman at the front desk, made sure I got one that worked." This suggests a commitment from individual staff members to address guest concerns promptly, which can significantly enhance the stay experience, despite other potential issues. Another review specifically praised the "Great shower pressure" and "Super staff," indicating that the positive interactions with hotel personnel are a recurring theme.
However, it is important to provide an objective overview, acknowledging that some guest experiences reflect areas for improvement. Reviews mention concerns such as cleanliness issues (e.g., "torn paper on the floor right in front of our door," "black gunk in it that looked like mold" in the sink hole), maintenance needs (e.g., "door handle to the bathroom was missing," "tub needs to be replaced," "old water damage to the door in the bathroom"), and occasional service shortcomings (e.g., "only ONE washcloth," "attitude was told they were sold out last night and do not have any towels available," "free breakfast was also out of several items"). These points suggest that while the staff often strives to be helpful, the property itself may benefit from more consistent upkeep and resource management. The hotel has undergone renovations, with some reviews mentioning updated looks in bathrooms and technology. It’s worth noting that feedback varies, with some guests finding the rooms "clean and good location" or "very clean and neat."

In conclusion, La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Atlanta Perimeter Medical offers a conveniently located and generally well-equipped option for travelers in Sandy Springs, especially those connected to the nearby medical centers or seeking access to Perimeter Mall. May 19, 2025 · N RWill never stay at a La Quinta again. Stayed 2 nights. Did not want our room serviced throughout our stay, but asked for 2 fresh towels on day 3 in order to shower and then check out. I contacted the front desk and with an attitude was told they were sold out last night and do not have any towels available. Wow! Completely unacceptable!!! Aside from this unfortunate situation, the “free” breakfast was also out of several items. Eggs were asked to be replenished during mid hours of breakfast and the staff said “no more eggs” among other items. The room was less than desirable - one pillow smelled like dog feces, the toiletries (smallest bottle of shampoo I’ve ever seen and no conditioner) were minimal so plan to bring your own. This hotel needs new management and someone directly overseeing the front desk staff as no one seems to care about the customers or experience at this hotel.
May 18, 2025 · Deanna ArthursWife and I booked here after seeing good reviews. It was remarkable how bad this place was. It seemed like it was in a state of much disrepair. Multiple doors and elevators were out of service, and only one elevator in the entire hotel worked. The outside entrance to the Pool (accessed via a room key) was broken with exposed wiring. Coffee and hotel stores were out of everything. We could overlook all that; but then our room keys did not work. They insisted we weren’t opening the door right and had to “jiggle the room key and violently push it in it and our for it to work”. It didn’t work still. I repeatedly had to argue that the door didn’t work after trying everything a second and third time based on their advice. Then Another customer ended up coming to the lobby for the same issue. His room keys weren’t functioning either. After much trial and error we decided to just get a different room. This room the key worked, but the electrical equipment like the TV and (most important for this time of year in the south) the AC didn’t work. The room was upwards of 80 degrees by then and was only getting hotter. By this point this back and forth with keys and other issues not working broke our patience, and we decided to cut our losses, and cancel, and go somewhere else. The place in general just seems run down inside and out and everything inside is breaking or hasn’t worked in god knows how long. We ended up going to the Wyndham Garden by the Atlanta Airport and that place is much better
May 19, 2025 · KDaddy463Location was great.y significant other had just got out of the hospital near by. Upon arrival the card machine wasn’t working and giving a problem. They fixed it. The room I reserved was a king. I had double full size beds! The room had no wash clothes. The bathroom doors were chipping therefore chips of wood and paint was on the floor. I wanted to extend my reservation even with all this going on and I was informed I would have to pay an additional $150 deposit for incidentals if I extended the room rudely. I will never and I do mean never stay at a Laquinta Inn again.
Apr 09, 2025 · Kristal GThe front desk for night and morning shifts were courteous and professional. Quick and easy check in and check out. The room was very clean and we loved the black out curtains. The location is great for us cause it was close to a Publix and restaurants. Unfortunately we were not able to enjoy the pool due to the rainy weather.
