This should truly be a negative star review. I have usually chosen this chain over others when i travel because i can generally count on the quality and safety of their locations, so booked a week-long stay here for an event. But this specific site was so below standard for this chain that I actually cancelled my reservation at check-in. The hotel had an overwhelming miasma of cigarette smoke, both in the lobby and the room, even though it is advertised as smoke-free. As the owner of a dog breed prone to cancers, that is one of my first requirements - that a location be as smoke-free as possible. Additionally, i was required to complete check-in in order to cancel the reservation. After doing so, they charged me for not only the room fee (expected, that is in their policy) but also for the pet fee even though my dog was never removed from my vehicle. Throughout my interaction with the front desk during check-in and later with the manager when i called to question the pet fee charge, they were rude and highly unprofessional. Also, as a single woman traveling alone, big dog or no, I did not feel safe there. While I was checking in, another supposed guest reeking of alcohol approached the desk wanting a replacement room key as he was planning a multi-floor party with 2 others. The clerk issued the key without requesting any ID or verification of his guest status. Of course it is possible he is a long-term guest there and the clerk knew him, but as sketchy as all 3 were, i felt exceedingly uncomfortable with the way that was handled. I know my standards can sometimes be beyond what some people prefer, but as someone retired from an organization in a major city that often dealt with hotel violations, there were way too many red flags indicating possible nefarious activity for me to be comfortable staying there. I did make complaints to both the chain and the even organizer regarding future use of this site.

When we arrived, the lobby smelled like weed. We then got to our room and it had a “fun” stain on the bed. We went down and asked for a new room. Upon arriving in the new room, the bed was filled with hair. When we went down a second time, the man tried to give us the old room back stating “he changed the sheets”. We said no and asked for a different room. When we got to the third room, the keys wouldn’t work. He would only refund 1/2 room reserved even though we all left within 25 minutes. After we left another woman came to complain about her room and the man was offering her the very first room from when we arrived! Terrible!

We spent two nights there. We had a great time staying here! There was a workstation and a seating space in the large room. The staff was nice. The room was tidy, and the bed was really comfy. There were free bottles of Dove products and a clean bathroom as well. The free breakfast, which included hot items like waffles, sausage, and eggs, was excellent. Without a doubt, I would return here.

The worst experience I've ever had at a hotel! Was in town for a bowling tournament, myself nor the members of my team will ever be staying here again. Lost power in room (evening time), was told it was being worked on. Never got the power back. Next morning, asked if it would be worked on while we were out for the day (8am), was told "not sure". Returned at 3p, to no power. Asked to be transferred to another room, was told "fully booked". Went on the site and it showed 3 rooms available. Went to the front desk and they still would not help us! How do you expect guest to stay in a room with no power?! After causing a scene and informing them that calls would be made, they magically had a room we could be transferred to. Why could we not do this in the first place?! Not one bit of sympathy, anything. Before we could transfer rooms, they had housekeeping banging on the door to clean our room! Other members of our team did not have a good experience as well.

Decent location. You got many restaurants surrounded. Got lots of grass to walk the dogs. The biggest issue as many as it stated before is the hot water is not consistent. The room itself was okay. It was clean. Fitness room had a 40 lb dumbbells and two treadmills. That's it.
