The well-equipped kitchenette includes essentials like a fridge, microwave, oven, stovetop, coffee/tea maker, and often features specialized offerings like Japanese Matcha tea and fancy coffee. This allows guests the flexibility to prepare their own meals, enhancing the "home-away-from-home" feel. The spa bathroom is a highlight, featuring a rain shower and often luxurious products (such as Malin and Goetz), providing a spa-like indulgence. Air conditioning and heating ensure comfort throughout the seasons, while amenities like high-speed Wi-Fi keep guests connected, although many guests find themselves happily "unplugged" in this serene setting.
Beyond the teahouse itself, guests have access to a range of incredible shared amenities within the 12-acre property. A heated saltwater pool (open mid-May through mid-October, though some listings suggest it may reopen in April) offers a refreshing dip with stunning views. An Onsen-style experience is often mentioned, referring to the traditional Japanese hot spring bathing concept, enhanced by the heated saltwater pool. There's also a new tennis/pickleball/basketball court with equipment available for guest use, providing opportunities for active recreation. Outdoor amenities also include a barbecue grill, a fire pit, and a variety of outdoor furniture and loungers, perfect for al fresco dining, stargazing, or simply enjoying the peaceful surroundings.
