great experience. But they have a few things needed to be improved. 1) the water is freaking hot even the faucet is set to the middle, not safe for kids. 2) a few things are not functioning properly, the blind, the usb, and outlets. 3) the ac vent was dusty. But customer service cleaned it right away. It's great they provide free ev charging. The clubhouse is filled with warm.

We came up in late April for a two-night mid-week stay. The airstreams were exactly as presented online. Updated with modern conveniences, but still a vintage vibe. Our room was comfortable and spacious with plenty of room to stash luggage and clothes. The one drawback were the windows. The airstream had about 7 windows that in theory opened but we were only able to open two. There were signs saying if we forced the windows open and broke them we would be charged. I feel like there was a better way they could handle this. The lodge was very nice and an unexpected perk. Most hotels have an uninviting lobby or common room, this was quite the opposite. There are indoor and outdoor fire pits and large doors that open up to unite the two spaces, lots of seating that encourage conversation or reading areas. We easily passed a few hours there relaxing before heading back to our camper. My one complaint is that we were charged a $32 activity fee per night yet the only activities were coffee and granola for breakfast, board games available in the clubhouse, and one hour of live music one of the two evenings we stayed. Outrageous. This policy needs to be reassessed. I can see charging the fee on days that actual activities are offered, but they should not be charging this fee for days that there are not attributable activities. For example, the day before we arrived and the day after we left they offered a yoga class, but why should we be charged if nothing was offered while we were there? Perhaps a different fee structure should be offered for mid week stays verses weekend when they actually offer (limited) events.

I stayed here for two nights over the weekend, and right from the start the front-desk staff were completely unprofessional. They asked me to pay an extra $180, which they said included an “amenity fee”, and assured me that any unused portion would be refunded after checkout if the room suffered no damage. When I asked if this was effectively a security deposit, they insisted it wasn’t, telling me the deposit had already been paid. Then, at the card terminal, they had me swipe my card twice without any explanation. Sure enough, my mobile banking app showed two separate $180 charges. When I questioned this, they claimed the first attempt had “errored” and therefore only one charge had gone through on their system, even though my bank showed otherwise. And when I pointed out that they should have warned me that the initial attempt had failed before asking me to try again, nobody even apologized. Despite my frustration I went ahead with check-in, but the room itself was underwhelming. It was glamping, so I didn’t expect luxury, but the shampoo/body-wash/conditioner dispenser was broken, so I had to wrestle it open just to take a shower. Aside from that it was fine. One of the other staff members promised I’d see the refund later that afternoon, but it never appeared, and I only got my money back after three whole weeks. I already have enough on my mind without chasing down a refund for nearly a month. Definitely not the seamless experience you’d hope for.

Excellent service, three type of room, I tried all, different feeling but all good, just maybe night time you need more bracket for the tent. Morning coffee is not bad, enough card games for kids easy hiking and biking around, good spot for escape from the city. Btw, they found out about the bracket problem then they brought an extra one right away, great service.

A fun weekend outside the city in a great area for exploring. We stayed in an airstream camper and found it to be a decent size for a couple. Comfortable bed, nice linens, and lots of natural light. The space is modern and new but we found it to be poorly maintained- the furniture was all pretty stained, the floor was very dirty, and the space hadn’t been cleaned well at all. The kitchen has a kettle, freeze dried coffee packets and black tea, a microwave and mini fridge. All of the utensils, cups, and plates were dirty when we arrived and the counters and table had hair and food residue on them. The outdoor space has a fire pit that can be used for cooking, and there was a cast iron pan as well. Bring your own oil - salt and pepper are provided. The clubhouse has granola and coffee on offer each morning and a menu if you’d like to buy breakfast. Their pantry is open for essentials, and they sell wood for $23 a bundle (you should DEFINITELY buy it elsewhere). The clubhouse has couches and games and live music, though it was incredibly crowded so we never spent much time there. Parking is central so you use metal carts to bring any luggage you can’t carry. You can’t drive to your site. The camp sites are incredibly close, and when we were there on a spring weekend it was mostly families with young children. It was loud with the sounds of children playing from early in the morning until pretty late in the evening. Overall a unique one time experience but for the price point it was not worth it. UPDATE: I posted this review the day we left Autocamp, and soon after we got home we received a survey about our stay. I was as honest in the survey as I was in my review here, and Autocamp reached out immediately to learn more about our experience. They didn’t just send surveys, they read them and took action. Based on the response I got about my survey I would definitely try an Autocamp again, and I would do a better job of communicating any issues to the staff while I was there so that they would have a chance to help in the moment. We were so impressed with their responsiveness and willingness to make it right.
