May 13, 2025 · Wajiha KI felt this hotel was very appropriately rated at 4/5 stars on Google Maps. The rooms were nice and spacious. We opted for a double room that had a queen bed and a pull out couch. It was more than enough space, and actually had some innovative storage solutions if you wanted to unpack a bit. The bathroom was nice enough, though there was no tub. Just a shower, which could use some touching up and deep cleaning. It was a relatively loud space. Not necessarily the hotel’s fault, but our walls were shaking from people walking loudly above us. And we could hear the street traffic relatively late into the night. If you aren’t from a city, this could be notable to you. The breakfast was standard. The staff member was so friendly, which made it enjoyable. But the baked goods were dry. There were also eggs, pancakes, and sausage. Service/staff and affordability was where this hotel shined. If you are looking for a place simply to rest your head at night, this hotel meets the marks.
Mar 09, 2025 · Jenn GingerichI spend the night there in April on a Tuesday. It wasn't crowded at all. The staff was very gracious and friendly. I don't remember his name but he was there in the morning at the front desk and he shook my hand and thanked me for staying there with them. The room was were super clean, the beds are firm and comfortable. You can control the HVAC system. You can make it very hot and continuous or you can put it on automatic. The breakfast was basic and the coffee was instant but no complaints. There are restaurants around town within walking distance. An amazing bakery nearby and an unbelievable Mexican restaurant that's close as well. I saw something in the room that I haven't seen in many years. A Christian Bible! Very refreshing to see that. I definitely would stay again.
Apr 16, 2025 · M GioMostly pleasant and stress free stay. Pros: -Free Breakfast (scrambled eggs, pancakes, sausages hot menu daily) -Free Wi-Fi -Free Parking -Great location Cons: -Does not automatically clean/replace towels on multi-night stay. You need to specifically request it, which was not made explicit at check-in -No special scenery views
Apr 18, 2025 · Junho YangI don’t normally make bad reviews, but I needed to because it was just so sneaky and shady of both booking.com and the hotel. I mistakenly booked the wrong date, which is my fault, so I requested cancellation, but also tried to request the date to be changed. But shortly after I just needed to cancel entirely so I called the hotel and a lady who picked up and rudely told me I need to call booking.com customer service to cancel which I did call and told the representative my situation that I needed to cancel entirely and he told me he will request to see if they will waive the fee. After my call, I got a cancellation request email and was told to wait for a response. Later in the evening, I got an email saying they changed my date even though I requested it to be entirely cancelled. I called customer service again, and they said they will send them an email to request another cancellation. I decided to call the hotel again and a man picked up. I was trying to tell him my situation and to see why my date changed but he just kept cutting me off. Told me that he cannot cancel or change anything in their end and that I have to pay the cancellation fee. I called customer service again because at this point I'm super frustrated and upset. The lady told me that the hotel has to approve the change before they can do anything, meaning they ignored the cancellation request which was requested twice and one of them was when I called booking.com after I requested the date change. I honestly wasn't this upset until they moved my date because it was my mistake at first for booking the wrong date. My original cancellation would've been $126 but because they changed my date even though I requested a cancellation after thinking I was doing the right thing by calling customer service and having them inform the hotel of the situation but now I regret it and my fee doubled to $289. They could've just denied my free cancellation request and to be honest I would've understood why and just paid it but no they decided to change the date to scam me I guess. The next day I called again and the last person I spoke to on Booking.com just hung up after putting me on hold. It's upsetting that both Booking.com and the hotel workers treat people so badly. They just don’t care. I get that I was no longer a staying customer, but doing that makes me feel like their goal is to get as much money from me. Just very disappointed with the overall experience.
