Worst Hotel Experience Ever! I wish I could give this place zero stars. From the moment I stepped in, it felt like I had entered a nightmare. The lobby was dimly lit, with a musty odor that hinted at decades of neglect. The receptionist barely acknowledged my existence and handed me a key card as if it was a burden. When I finally reached my room, I was greeted by stained carpets, peeling wallpaper, and furniture that looked like it had survived several generations of guests—and not in a charming, antique way. The bed? A disaster. The mattress was lumpy, and the sheets were either stained or just not cleaned properly. I wasn’t sure which was worse. The bathroom was even more horrifying. Mold in the shower, a cracked sink, and towels that were more like sandpaper than something you’d want to dry off with. To top it all off, the noise was unbearable. Paper-thin walls meant I could hear everything happening in the adjacent rooms, from arguments to loud music, and even a dog barking incessantly. The management? Completely unresponsive.

While the hotel aims to offer a budget-friendly option, a significant portion of customer feedback highlights considerable issues that prospective guests should be aware of. Common complaints include reports of strong, unpleasant odors in the lobby and rooms, concerns about cleanliness with mentions of stained carpets, peeling wallpaper, unkempt bathrooms with mold or cracked fixtures, and questionable linen cleanliness. The presence of insects, specifically cockroaches, has also been reported by some guests. Furthermore, issues with noise insulation, leading to disturbances from adjacent rooms or outside, have been noted. Interactions with management have also been a point of contention in some reviews, with guests reporting unresponsiveness or unpleasant attitudes.
Conversely, some limited reviews, though less common, have stated that the hotel offers an "affordable price and convenient location" and that some individual experiences were "fine." These contrasting views indicate that guest experiences at this property can be highly inconsistent. It is crucial for travelers to manage their expectations, understanding that while the price point may be attractive, it often comes with a higher risk of encountering significant comfort and hygiene issues. The hotel's promotional information often emphasizes its proximity to Niagara Falls and the Fashion Outlets, along with offering free Wi-Fi and free parking, which are indeed practical benefits for a budget stay. For those searching on the "Hotels Near Of Me" platform with an extremely tight budget as the primary driver, Red Carpet Inn Niagara Falls, NY might appear as a low-cost option. It is advisable for prospective guests to thoroughly research recent reviews on multiple platforms to gain the most current understanding of the hotel's conditions before booking.

Aug 18, 2024 · Nischal BhattaraiWell we just got back from the most disgusting place I have ever stayed. We would have left but they said no refunds. We couldn’t believe our eyes. The place was filthy spit on the mirrors looked like blood on the walls the bathroom was disgusting empty toilet roll on the holder, toilet looked like it had never been cleaned the bathroom floor was all chopped up the shower and sink were not clean. We actually went out and bought towels and pillows and slept on top of the covers as afraid of bed bugs so not much sleep at all. We just washed in the morning as the bathroom was that bad. Holes in the walls fridge didn’t work wow the list goes on. Never Stay there it should be demolished it’s that bad.
Aug 12, 2024 · Laurie AdairThis is the worst hotel ever. There was flies on bathroom, blood on the bedsheet, and pillow, and bugs on the all over blanket. And we said all these to front desk they were like “ we can’t do anything “ then we ask them for new sheet. They took forever to bring it. And even the new sheet they gave was dirty and it was smelling perfume.Lastly, there was also a spider wave on the room and very smelly. And we couldn’t even close the washroom door.
Aug 18, 2024 · Nirja BhattaraiWould recommend and stay again! The other reviews complaining about wallpaper and other unimportant stuff ignore the fact they choose one of the cheapest motels in the area. Very pleasant stay at this motel. The owner was very nice and the accompanying room was both clean and tidy. You get what you pay for and more and it's a good experience which is cheap so you can afford to do more things in the area. If you want a Hilton like experience go to the Hilton. Can't recommend enough!
Aug 27, 2024 · Zach CunninghamWould definitely recommend for a cheap and cheerful stay! Our stay at the Red Carpet Inn was perfectly pleasant and, quite frankly, an absolute steal for the price. A lot of reviews here complain about the slightly sub-optimal rooms and somewhat curt service - that’s what is expected at the CHEAPEST motel in Niagara Falls. My friend and I stayed in a 2-bed room, everything worked, and our stay was everything we could have asked for.
