When i was last there, It was dirty inside of my room, as well as the hallways, they were messy and needed to be vacuumed. And even worse than that, I thought it was so unprofessional for a hotel manager to treat her customers so crappy. I really hope they have found someone new since I was there last. Because that is unacceptable.

Milwaukee Airport Inn Introduce

For residents of Wisconsin, knowing the lay of the land when it comes to local businesses is a key part of navigating daily life and travel. When it comes to lodging near a major hub like General Mitchell International Airport (MKE), options are plentiful, and it's essential to have a clear understanding of what each one offers. This article provides a detailed, factual overview of the Milwaukee Airport Inn, a hotel that has been part of the local landscape for a considerable time. Located at 1716 W Layton Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53221, USA, this establishment operates under the name Travelodge, which is a detail that is important for travelers to note when making their reservations. This guide is designed to help local users make an informed decision, whether they are booking for out-of-town guests, a quick overnight stay before a flight, or a local staycation.

The Milwaukee Airport Inn, like any establishment, has a specific character and reputation shaped by its management, staff, and physical condition over time. It is a place that serves a particular segment of the traveling public. As with any review of a business, it is important to consider a range of perspectives. Public feedback is a valuable tool for gaining insight into the real-world experience of staying at a hotel. Some reviews point to challenges with cleanliness and customer service. One customer reported a room and hallways that were "dirty" and "messy," and mentioned an unpleasant experience with a hotel manager, hoping for new management since their last stay. Another, more detailed review, expressed serious concerns about the state of the room and amenities, noting issues with a dirty hot tub, broken jets, and an hour-long wait for a room that still needed cleaning. These are factors that potential guests should be aware of when considering this as an option.

In the hospitality industry, every hotel strives to create a positive experience for its guests, but the execution can vary. The Milwaukee Airport Inn's history and management have influenced its current state, and it’s always wise to check the most recent reviews to get the most up-to-date picture. While some guests have had negative experiences, there are also mentions of positive interactions with specific staff members, such as a man named Robert who was described as "professional and polite." This suggests that while there may be inconsistencies, there are also dedicated individuals working there who provide good service. The hotel's position in the market is often as a budget-friendly option, which can appeal to travelers who prioritize cost over high-end amenities and service. For local residents, it's a known quantity in the airport area, and this guide aims to present a balanced view of what that means in practice.

The hotel's location and accessibility are key factors for anyone considering a stay. Situated at 1716 W Layton Ave, the Milwaukee Airport Inn is conveniently located in close proximity to General Mitchell International Airport (MKE). For locals in Wisconsin, this is a prime spot for a quick overnight stay before an early flight, or for picking up and dropping off visiting friends and family. The address is straightforward and easy to find, making it simple to navigate using GPS. The hotel is also situated on a major street, W Layton Ave, which provides easy access to and from a variety of destinations in and around Milwaukee. This includes not only the airport but also major highways, which can take guests to downtown Milwaukee, the lakefront, or other parts of the city and its suburbs.

While the location is a definite advantage for air travel and general city access, the reviews highlight some potential challenges with the hotel's physical state. The detailed review mentions a "sliding door" with a broken lock that did not close all the way, requiring a bar to keep it shut. This is a security and comfort concern that guests should be mindful of. The location also places the hotel in a busy area, and the review mentions "Loud noise and fighting going on through out the night," which could be a factor in the overall experience of staying there. For locals, this means that while the location is physically convenient, the environment may not be conducive to a peaceful night's sleep. It is important to weigh the benefits of the location against the potential drawbacks of the hotel's condition and environment.

The hotel is easily reachable by car from most parts of Wisconsin. Its position near the airport also means that public transportation options, such as buses or taxis, are readily available for those who do not have their own vehicle. The hotel's address is clear and distinct, making it an easy point of reference for anyone needing to meet or be dropped off. For local residents, this accessibility is a key feature, as it simplifies logistics for both themselves and their guests.

Hotel is actually named travel lodge. Hot tub was dirty and some jets were broken. I had to wait over an hr xtra to get in my room because they were still cleaning it out. Which baffles me because i had to immediately have a friend deliver cleaning products before i would even let my child in hot tub. There were more than 1 or 2 centipedes spotted crawling out from underneath hot tub where there is a moldy gap around bottom of tub. Wax stains and cigarette (?) Burns all over floor especially under chair by sliding doors which lock was broken on (had to use a bar in slider to keep it shut and it did not close all the way on other side..the drapes should have been disposed of years ago. Hardly any toilet paper on roll and no extra roll. Was told if i wanted toilet paper or towels i would have to come from back of hotel to front to get some (I am disabled). No reception for their wifi... So no netflix and very few channels. Bedding was noticably dirty , had to use my own bedspread and blankets just to cover up bed and try not to think of what i was laying on. Loud noise and fighting going on through out the night. Woman at front desk was rude ..man named Robert working front desk was professional and polite. Basically this hotel is meant for people who want to do what you cant get away with in most hotels or at home. Clean/launder all your items before you bring them back in your home, including the clothes on your back and go directly to shower.... Bed bugs would not be suprising.

I originally booked this hotel based off the reviews that people were saying the place was clean and cheap. The place was definitely cheap but it was not clean (I guess you get what you paid for). The hotel looked really run down, random people were just hanging out in the parking lot, and the hallways smelled. I was able to get an upgrade to my room due to the original reservation being wrong so I was happy about that. The room was spacious but needed some repairs on the walls, curtains, and the fire detector was not working. The room had two sofas, both of which were very dirty so I did not sit on them. The chair for the desk was also dirty and had all these stains. The bed was comfortable and it looked clean but when I woke up in the morning I had what looked like bed bug bites, on one side of my leg. I made sure to wash everything I took with me and my car to make sure I didn't take any bed bugs with me when I got home. I definitely will not be staying at this place again! I noticed some other reviews about the bed bug issue so proceed with caution!

If you want the four star hotel experience at a two star hotel price this is the place, I've stayed at five different hotels in Milwaukee, I booked here when my usual pick was unavailable for me needs. I'm never looking back.not much to look at from the outside but inside 😁WOW! Beautiful spacious rooms, extremely comfortable beds, all the amenities and a pool and exercise area. Extremely friendly, considerate and competent staff. I'm on business here today but this would be a perfect choice for a vacation or getaway to check out Milwaukee. I'm a born complainer but I hated checking out after only one night. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. Forget the rest, this place gives you the most bang for your buck! I'll be back.As for some of these other reviews, they must have had some type of personal problem here or caused a problem resulting in sour grapes. Nothing could be farther from the truth, I'm dumbfounded by the recent bad reviews. They must have this place mixed up with somewhere else or have some sort of stake or work at a competing chain in the area. It's the only way I can figure it.i read the other reviews after posting my own and had to come back to address those concerns. They are completely unfounded and untrue in my experience.

After our reservation at another hotel was not honored and driving in late to town during the rain. The staff were very helpful and courteous!!! The room was large and comfortable. Everything was clean and there is a restaurant on the premises. We REALLY appreciated the young front desk clerk in the evening and the morning manager! You ladies really turned a frustrating situation around!! Thank you so much!
