Recently stayed at this hotel to come to the city and transit from Bronx to Manhattan to sightsee and the experience was amazing. The rooms may be small but you get what you paid for when it comes to that. Rooms are super clean there’s not a single complaint on that end. room service comes in and cleans up while your out if asked. Great customer service at the desk came and asked for some supplies like tooth paste and they held it down for me till I was able to go to the store and get my own. I felt really safe and valued as a customer would really recommend for anyone coming to New York and looking to budget and willing to sacrifice having a little less space.
For local users searching within the "Hotels Near Of Me" platform for accommodation in the Bronx, New York, the MONTI HOTEL is an establishment that may appear as a relevant option. Located at 4320 Bronx Blvd, Bronx, NY 10466, USA, this hotel positions itself as a budget-friendly choice for travelers seeking to access both the Bronx and Manhattan, particularly for sightseeing or transit purposes.
The environment surrounding the MONTI HOTEL is typical of a bustling urban thoroughfare in the Bronx. Bronx Boulevard is a significant road, characterized by a mix of residential buildings, local businesses, and some commercial establishments. The immediate area offers a snapshot of everyday life in the Bronx, with various amenities like local shops and eateries likely within walking distance. For guests relying on public transportation, the hotel's location provides access to bus lines, and it is generally within a reasonable distance to subway stations (such as the 2 and 5 trains at Gun Hill Road or Woodlawn), offering connections to other parts of the Bronx and direct routes into Manhattan. While the setting is urban, the hotel aims to provide a functional base for exploring the city.
The internal environment of the MONTI HOTEL is primarily focused on providing clean and essential accommodations, consistent with its budget-friendly positioning. Customer reviews highlight that rooms "are super clean," with "not a single complaint on that end." This emphasis on cleanliness is a significant positive aspect for many travelers. However, the reviews also consistently mention that the "rooms may be small" and "beds way too small," with one guest noting that their "feet were outside of the bed" at 5'11". This indicates that while clean, the space within the rooms might be limited, requiring guests to be "willing to sacrifice having a little less space." Rooms are likely equipped with basic amenities such as private bathrooms, air conditioning, and a television. The presence of an AC unit "one ft away to the bed" that makes it "impossible to sleep with the AC on unless you want to get a cold" points to a potential comfort issue related to room layout or AC positioning. The hotel has multiple rooms packed closely together, leading to audible noise from "other rooms all the time," which suggests potential issues with soundproofing. While a cafeteria is absent, a shared microwave and ice are available, indicating very limited communal facilities.
The services offered by the MONTI HOTEL appear to place a strong emphasis on customer service and cleanliness. Guests report "Great customer service at the desk," noting that staff were attentive to requests, even for supplies like "tooth paste," holding items until the guest could procure their own. This personal touch indicates a friendly and helpful front desk. Room service is available for cleaning up "while your out if asked," which is a convenient service for maintaining room tidiness during a stay. While standard hotel services like a 24-hour front desk are implied by the accessibility and responsiveness described in reviews, specific details on amenities like Wi-Fi or parking are not explicitly highlighted in the provided feedback. Given the budget nature and urban location, complimentary Wi-Fi is a common expectation, but parking might be limited or paid. The general sentiment suggests a willingness from staff to assist guests with their basic needs.
Key features of the MONTI HOTEL, particularly for users of the "Hotels Near Of Me" category, include its affordability and reported cleanliness. The hotel appeals to "anyone coming to New York and looking to budget" and "willing to sacrifice having a little less space." This value proposition is a significant draw. Its location in the Bronx provides a different experience than staying in Manhattan, potentially offering a more local feel and potentially lower costs. The ease of transit from the Bronx to Manhattan for sightseeing, as mentioned by a reviewer, highlights its practical positioning for exploring the wider city. The presence of helpful and "great customer service" at the desk is a recurring positive feature, contributing to guests feeling "really safe and valued as a customer." However, the significant limitations in room size and bed length, coupled with noise issues and AC placement, are also critical features that guests should be aware of before booking. The lack of extensive dining facilities, beyond a microwave and ice, is another functional feature that shapes the guest experience.
Regarding promotional information, for a hotel like MONTI HOTEL, word-of-mouth and positive reviews, particularly those highlighting its cleanliness and customer service, serve as its primary form of promotion. The hotel’s appeal is squarely aimed at budget-conscious travelers prioritizing a clean place to sleep and friendly assistance over spacious accommodations or extensive amenities. The value proposition is centered on getting "what you paid for" in terms of cleanliness and service, even with smaller rooms. Any direct bookings or online travel agency listings would likely emphasize its competitive pricing for the New York City area. While there isn't explicit mention of loyalty programs or large-scale marketing campaigns, the consistent theme of value and a helpful staff could attract guests looking for an economical base for their New York City visit. However, potential guests should carefully consider the feedback regarding room size, bed dimensions, noise, and AC placement when evaluating the overall value proposition, as these aspects directly impact comfort despite the cleanliness and service. The comment "I would have been ok if the cost were half of what they actually charge" indicates that while budget-friendly, some guests feel the price might still be too high given the room constraints.
In conclusion, the MONTI HOTEL, located at 4320 Bronx Blvd in the Bronx, presents itself as a highly clean and service-oriented option for users searching in the "Hotels Near Of Me" category, particularly those on a budget. Its key strengths lie in its reported immaculate cleanliness and the attentiveness of its staff. However, prospective guests must be fully aware of the significant trade-offs, primarily concerning room size and bed length, potential noise from adjacent rooms, and the positioning of the air conditioning. While it offers a viable base for exploring New York City from the Bronx, especially for those prioritizing a clean space and friendly service over spaciousness or extensive on-site facilities, it is crucial to manage expectations regarding room comfort and internal noise. Its value proposition hinges on accepting these compromises for a more budget-friendly stay in an accessible urban location.

Jun 19, 2022 · Pasto PRooms and Beds way too small, I'm 5'11 and my feet were outside of the bed. Floors are packed with rooms and you can hear from other rooms all the time. Not enough towels and one of them had a brown stain on it. AC is one ft away to the bed impossible to sleep with the AC on unless you want to get a cold. Forget about cafeteria there is only ice and a microwave. I would have been ok if the cost were half of what they actually charge.
Jun 13, 2022 · Juan CabreraStayed here for a quick girls' night stop this past July 4th. My girlfriend checked made the arrangements so I don't know about pricing but she says it's not bad, all things considered. They kindly showed her the room before she decided to pay. We only stayed a night so we only truly needed someplace clean and safe so it was fine and close to our destinations wile in town. Pros: •Decent location, in terms of parking, local food/groceries/etc. •Staff was charming with me and my girlfriend but she claims they were way nicer only after I entered. We, somehow, (Smh. *facepalm*) lost our keys immediately after checking in and the guys at the front desk were actually quite sweet and helpful about it. •The entire building smelled really clean and actually reminded me of that scent when you first check in at a resort. *shrugs* •The room has a clean mini fridge on one side of the bed and a tiny "nightstand" on the other and an ice bucket. •The linens are clean and everything smells really fresh. •There seems to be a great number of rooms in the building so if a family/group needed a quick, clean place only to shower and sleep for a night or two, Monti could potentially be that place. •The toiletries are of surprisingly decent quality. •There was no loitering or really any foot traffic. •There are tons of pillows so spooning was equitable. •It's surprisingly modern. •It's a quiet building in a quiet area, albeit located right off the highway. It's always quiet in this area whenever we visit. •We had no qualms about leaving all our luggage, electronics, etc in the room to go party for the night. Cons: •Because they crammed a million rooms in that relatively large building, they rooms are offensively tiny. •They only except cash. *side eye* •Booking only in person, nothing online/over the phone. *double side eye* •The tv is mounted so high on the wall that it's a bit uncomfortable to watch, if you were so inclined. •There isn't a tiny dinette table or chair so luggage is either on the floor or on the bed. •The ac is only 6" from the bed is difficult to operate and is set to Antarctica. Overall, it's a decent place that offered, pleasant service and a decent price on a holiday weekend.

I got room 317 first and when I checked the bed it was a disgrace. I went back to the front desk and got room 210 it was even worse both rooms the sheets and bed padding had urine stains all over I had to checked out and drive 3hours home.
