Another wonderful stay at Harrahs Casino. Able to check in early at a cost of $25.. ( wanted to access the pool early, reason's why, you need your room key to access all pool areas). Gorgeous room with a cracking view of the pool slide/ Mountain's ~ very clean room/ two queen beds and mini fridge 👍 (room 1410). Poolside was incredible, beautifully kept area with great poolside service 👍. We love it here 😀 ~ loads of places to choose to eat and Casino to end the evening/night and morning 😂.. The environment of the Mountain Tower is intrinsically linked to the grand scale of Harrah's Cherokee Casino Resort. Situated amidst the scenic beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains, the resort provides a majestic setting. The Mountain Tower is one of three hotel towers within the complex, along with the Creek and Soco Towers, collectively offering over 1,800 rooms and suites. The architectural design of the towers is modern and impressive, contributing to the resort's dominant presence in the region. Guests can enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains or the meticulously kept pool area, depending on their room's orientation. The atmosphere within the resort is vibrant and dynamic, reflecting its status as a major entertainment hub in Western North Carolina. The entire property, from the casino floor to the hotel rooms, pool areas, and public spaces, is meticulously maintained, offering a clean, polished, and visually appealing environment. While the natural surroundings are undeniably beautiful, the primary focus of the environment is the integrated resort experience, where gaming, diverse dining options, and a wide array of entertainment are seamlessly connected. The resort is designed to be an immersive destination, minimizing the need for guests to leave the premises for entertainment or dining, though the nearby town of Cherokee offers additional cultural and historical attractions for those wishing to explore the local heritage.
The services at the Mountain Tower, as part of Harrah's Cherokee Casino Resort, are comprehensive and designed to provide a full-service luxury experience. Guests have access to a 24-hour front desk, ensuring constant availability for check-in, check-out, and any inquiries. While early check-in may be available at a cost (e.g., $25 mentioned in a review), it offers flexibility for guests wishing to access amenities sooner. The resort provides ample parking, including complimentary self-parking in an adjacent garage and convenient valet parking services. In-room services are designed for comfort and convenience, featuring premium bedding (often Simmons Beautyrest mattresses with Eucalyptus-blend sheets), a mini-fridge, a 50-inch Samsung flat-screen TV with cable channels, an in-room safe, a desk, and a laptop workspace. Rooms typically include a Cuisinart Coffee maker with Wolfgang Puck coffee pods. Large baths with imported Italian marble vanities and rain + wall shower heads are standard. While basic Wi-Fi is available, higher-speed internet may be an additional fee. The resort complex boasts a staggering array of over 10 restaurants, catering to diverse culinary tastes, from casual eateries to fine dining establishments such as Ruth's Chris Steak House, Guy Fieri's Cherokee Kitchen + Bar, and the new Gordon Ramsay Food Market. These options cover breakfast, lunch, dinner, and late-night cravings. Room service and Caesars Eats, a convenient delivery service from various on-site restaurants, are also available. For relaxation and pampering, the luxurious 18,000-square-foot Mandara Spa offers a comprehensive range of treatments, from Balinese-inspired massages and facials to body therapies and salon services. The resort also features an indoor pool (open year-round), a seasonal outdoor pool with a poolside bar and cabanas, and a well-equipped fitness center, all accessible to hotel guests, though requiring a room key for entry. Concierge services are readily available to assist guests with inquiries, show ticket bookings, spa appointments, and other needs. For Caesars Rewards members, there are various loyalty benefits, including exclusive pricing and promotions. The features of the Mountain Tower, and indeed the entire Harrah's Cherokee Casino Resort, are extensive and cater to a wide array of interests, establishing it as a premier entertainment destination. The most prominent feature is the sprawling 150,000+ square-foot casino floor, which houses over 3,000 slot machines, over 160 traditional table games (including Blackjack, Roulette, Craps, Mini-Baccarat, and Poker), and a dedicated World Series of Poker - Poker Room with 32 tables. Caesars Sportsbook offers a premier sports betting venue with a massive 90-foot screen and private "Fan Caves" for an immersive experience. Beyond gaming, the resort's features include:
From a promotional standpoint, Harrah's Cherokee Casino Resort, encompassing the Mountain Tower, is heavily marketed as a premier "Majesty in the Mountains" destination, promising "unforgettable getaways" with "luxe hotel accommodations and amenities, thrilling casino excitement, celebrity chef restaurants, world-class golf, high-octane shows and events, shopping, and so much more." They frequently offer special promotions such as "Vacation Sales," upgraded room deals, and exclusive discounts for veterans and military personnel. For casino enthusiasts, numerous daily, weekly, and seasonal promotions, including "Next Day Free Play," "Birthday Rewards," and large prize giveaways, are tied into the Caesars Rewards loyalty program. However, based on various customer reviews, while the visual appeal of the rooms, the overall cleanliness, and the extensive range of amenities are consistently highly praised, some guests have noted specific issues. Concerns have been raised regarding the comfort of some beds and pillows, as well as noise disturbances from other guests in hallways or on balconies, particularly during late hours. The responsiveness to noise complaints can vary. While dining options are abundant, some guests have found the food quality at certain "big name" restaurants to be "mid at best" for the price, suggesting exploring outside the casino for better culinary experiences. Despite these criticisms, the overwhelming sentiment from many guests is positive, with numerous patrons returning for "another wonderful stay." The hotel's appeal lies in the convenience of having so many entertainment, dining, and relaxation options consolidated under one roof, set against the natural beauty of the Smoky Mountains. The Mountain Tower is an ideal choice for adults seeking a vibrant, amenity-rich resort experience with a strong emphasis on gaming and entertainment, rather than a quiet, secluded retreat.

Sep 08, 2024 · Wayne LoweWe come to Harrahs every year for our anniversary but this is the 1st time staying in the hotel. ( room 506, mountain tower) But absolutely never again. The room is beautiful but that's where it ends. The bed is a rock. Pillows are non-existent. Like, you may as well just go ahead and lie flat on your rock. The AC would pop so loud inside the wall everytime it turned on that it sounded like it died. So even if you managed to get comfy on your rock and fall asleep, don't worry, you'll be awake soon enough. Woken up at 6am by grown a** adults hollering outside our door. And as an added bonus, yall the food here is mid at BEST. The lunch we had at the restaurant by the bowling alley was probably the best in the casino. The big names are terrible and expensive. If you're looking for good food, leave the casino and go to the new Chophouse that just opened like a mile away. Great food and service. We may come back for our anniversary next year but I think we will just drive home after we are done gambling.
May 19, 2024 · Brandy HamiltonRoom was clean and Spacious. Really good value. I guess I expected a small room with bad carpet that smelled like cigarettes. Totally not the case. Was super clean, my wife even took off her slippers and walked around. It was that Clean. Only drawback was the distance we had to carry our bags to our room. Looked for a cart, but I couldn't find one.
Nov 12, 2023 · Jay HowellI realize this is a big name casino but we got here at 3 and it was5 before our room was ready. Very few food options at the food court with lower than Pizza Hut and Hardy burger standards. Expensive and sub par food… room service less than interesting as far as choices. Here on Thursday before easter. People pay hundreds of dollars a room for this? Count me out…
Apr 07, 2023 · Laura Marian PolantThe rooms are nice but you better be ready to walk forever to get to the casino and shops and another forever to the event center on the other side of the casino. Parking was way out of the way as well. Bring your walking shoes!
