"Mt. Olympus provided a space to get out of the elements" for the cost that my group was charged to stay at building #5 ($2200 for 3 days two nights) the stay at the "hotel" room was definitely a different form of unexpected adventure. My recommendation to the Mt Olympus team would be to address and fix things I listed under cons. But anyone reading this knows they won't actually do that since it would cost them money. Pros : - AC works - room darkening curtains - enough beds for group and only couples shared beds - full sized fridge and a mini fridge - close to the water park - lots of extra soaps and hotel shampoos under the sink - no bed bugs or cockroaches Cons : - walls paper thin. Can hear the family next door yelling at their kids - doors paper thin. Could hear other people in our group talking and outside - one bathroom for a space that has 10 beds - floors so dirty that when you walk across the your feet turn black - only one sink to get water from - not even a toaster - weird space use. Tons of open empty space - no extra seats in the main space - no big tables for group meals/food - doors loud and squeaky - no backboard for beds. They painted them on the wall - not enough seats for people to sit on - two uncomfortable wooden chairs in each room - beds are hard - they don't clean under the beds - no building wifi - one small trashcan - no extra pillows in room - no extra sheets or blankets in room Avoid buildings #3, #4, #5 if you can

Conclusion: Why this place is suitable for locals
For us Wisconsinites, a trip to the Dells is often about making memories with family and friends, and that's where the Mt. Olympus Resort, even with its more basic accommodations in buildings 3, 4, and 5, can be a suitable option. We understand that a Dells vacation is a major expense, and finding a lodging option that includes the park admission can be a game-changer for a family budget. The rooms in these buildings, while not luxurious, provide a functional and affordable home base.
The key is to manage expectations. If you are looking for a spotless, quiet, and amenity-rich experience, these buildings may not be the best fit. However, if your main priority is to have a place to crash, keep your food cold, and have free access to the thrilling rides and water slides of Mt. Olympus, then these rooms are perfectly suited for that purpose. They are a practical solution for a group that is more focused on the adventure outside their door than the decor inside. In essence, these rooms provide a cost-effective way to get the most out of the Mt. Olympus experience, which is something we as locals can appreciate.

Jul 28, 2025 · Alex BelisleWaited 2.5 hrs to get bars of soap sent to our room and when they came No soap.. towels.. rooms were dirty. I had to sweep our room to get all the dirt out of it. Reservations said no single queen bed in building 3. That is a lie! Plus in building 3 know there's no hot water after 5pm to shower
Aug 03, 2025 · Rebecca LynnPaid almost 500$ for 4 people and a baby. We basically got a motel with TWO towels. The beds are flat and hard, the pillows are hard. NO WIFI! NO LAMPS! Our neighbors are in the cars smoking weed constantly too.
Jul 19, 2025 · AnnaMae LawrynkStayed here in April 2025 & left my son’s Amazon Fire Tablet in the room & called about it when we got home. We’re told to fill out some form on the website. Did so & no one ever called until I called them. Long story short the foreign housekeepers stole my child’s tablet & denied finding it. We never took it anywhere else on the property.
Jun 06, 2025 · Marcusf250Nasty! Toilet was coming off. The space between the rooms in bldg 4 is filled with trash. And the WiFi is non existent
