Cheap vacation, that's the only good thing about it, but that's just it. It was cheap and you get what you pay for here. We even paid a little extra for the "themed" room which is just a wall with a painting on it. The head boards were even painted on it so it was just 2 basic beds without even a head board, itty bitty fridge, and a AC that barely worked. We checked in to our room during a 80+ degree day, turned the AC on, and it was still very humid in the room even hours after. We all slept terrible and the rooms were not the cleanest whatsoever. They could definitely use some TLC and some updating. The water park however was decent for when we could actually use it. We did have fun there but be careful if you book a cabana. We paid the extra for a cabana despite the fact that their were rain chances in the forecast, we have little kids so we thought it would be worth it to get out of the sun for a bit or even the rain if it sprinkled. Well we played in the water for an hour or two then it started to rain so we got the the cabana and it started down pouring. We then had tornado warnings so the lifeguards made everyone get out of the water and most rides even shut down for part of the day. A tornado did touch down about 20mi away, and the rain kept up until around 6pm. Customer service was awful, basically said we still could have used the cabana as it was still available to us for the day but with the weather we had I really did not feel that it was safe to stay there with small children. I think the only good thing about this trip was the price, but then again you get what you paid for. *Edited - I have reached out and customer service is a joke

For my first vacation with my family after retiring from 25 years of military service, I'm really disappointed. I feel like I was catfished by the website. Website vs. reality is a shocker!!! When given lemons, turn it around by making lemonade. The best part is that I was able to spend time with my 6 grandchildren. I should have read the reviews before booking. This was posted 6 years ago, and it still is applicable: "Rooms are overpriced for what you get. I believe you would be better off getting a room at best Western or motels 6 rather than pay for the overpriced and basic accommodations you get here. The ads are extremely misleading if you don't read the fine print."

Pretty terrible experience tbh. Walked into our room on a humid weekend and the heat was on- no big deal because we could turn on the AC and cool it down. Left the AC on for a couple hours and the temp didn’t change drastically and it still felt very hot. Our group just dealt with it and decided to put things into the fridge. The fridge didn’t even work… we went out to eat and left water bottles in the fridge to cool- came back and they were the same temp as before. I mean at least the freezer worked… The worst part of this all is when I walked in and was finding a bedroom, I stepped on a piece of glass and it caused my foot to bleed. Tried calling the front office and all I was met with was some lady saying “okay… sorry that happened” and then got transferred to a supervisor and was left at a voicemail… lol what a joke. Probably the worst place you can stay, but hey at least I had a place to sleep. Won’t be returning and I think your money would be better spent elsewhere.

Rooms in building 28 were not as good as what the pictures showed when booking. The AC did not work either - just blew warm air. The rooms are non-refundable, but were so bad and uncomfortable that we just ended up packing up and staying elsewhere.
