My husband and I spent 2 nights at Piping Rock Resort. Charlie was wonderfully helpful and accommodating with our reservation and our late arrival. Our room was simple but very clean, well appointed and quiet with a beautiful view and balcony. It had this wonderful little coffee maker that could whip up our coffee into a latte. There are kayaks, canoes and paddle boards to use free of charge, a volleyball court, horse shoes and other fun games on site. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend Piping Rock Resort!

Promotional Information:

Piping Rock Resort, being a four-season family resort, offers different pricing and availability depending on the time of year. Summer is undoubtedly the peak season, offering the full range of water activities. However, Wolfeboro and the Lakes Region are popular in the fall for foliage viewing, and in the winter for snow sports.

While specific, real-time promotional offers are best confirmed by contacting the resort directly, guests can often anticipate:

  • Seasonal Rates: Rates will vary significantly between peak summer, shoulder seasons (spring and fall), and winter. Visiting during off-peak times might offer more competitive pricing. For example, weekly rates are often provided, with summer rates being higher.
  • Direct Booking Advantages: Calling the resort directly might provide access to specific deals or offer more flexibility with reservations compared to third-party booking sites.
  • Longer Stay Discounts: Given the nature of cottages and efficiencies with kitchens, the resort may offer discounts for extended stays (e.g., weekly rentals).

General policies include typical check-in and check-out times (which should be confirmed with the resort upon booking). As a smoke-free property, smoking is prohibited in all accommodations and public areas. While some third-party listings might indicate "pets not allowed" for certain units, the primary information available from the resort itself and broader travel platforms suggests that it is a pet-friendly location, so it is crucial to confirm the pet policy directly for the specific unit type desired. A private parking area is available for guests.

In summary, Piping Rock Resort offers a charming and well-equipped lakeside retreat in Wolfeboro, NH, within the "Hotels Near Of Me" category. Its beautiful location, diverse accommodations with self-catering options, and a wealth of complimentary recreational activities, all supported by a friendly and accommodating staff, make it a highly recommended choice for a memorable New England vacation throughout the year.

We have loved Piping Rock for 15 years. The Property Managers...Gary and Carol...are amazing. They both work so hard and continue to improve the property. It's a wonderful place to stay and great for families because of the sand beach

I stayed here last year with my two older sons for a week of fishing, the first fishing and/or vacation my boys and I had taken together since they were in grade school some seventeen years ago. We had a great time, caught a bunch of fish, and so I was excited to bring my youngest son this year who is disabled along with my fiancé. Then one night a week and a half ago while on a walk thru our neighborhood she and her twelve pound shih tzu got attacked by a fifty pound plus boxer with her dog catching the worst of the assault. Our small dog had to spend a night in the animal hospital to have surgery in order to save her eye and to mend her other wounds. The attack was so abrupt and vicious that my fiancé and her puppy had to take a day of convalescing on our couch to start dealing with the emotional damage inflicted to them, trauma so severe that this little bundle of fur shakes at the sight of other four lagged animals, had to go to work with my fiancé all week, and would not leave the house without me or my fiancé standing right next to her. When I called to explain my situation to the manager, that we couldn't leave our dog with anyone while she recovers from this, and wouldn't think of letting her stay somewhere she might be around other dogs at this time, there "wasn't anything they could do" and because this happened ten days before we were to take our vacation I would lose the $420.00 deposit as well being told that "they were losing money too" because we couldn't stay as planned. I get there are rules, I also get there are reasons for them, but what I don't get is how a person & business in the hospitality industry could be so inhospitable and lack the compassion to flex a little from their regulations under such extraordinary circumstances. Those of you who have an autistic child like I do, who was looking forward to spending a week on the lake, and know the difficulty that comes with any change will understand the additional challenge I have waiting for me tonight at home explaining to him something I don't understand myself. My hope was that these people would show a little compassion, I would be a customer for life, and sing their praises, but now I can only shake my head in disgust at how they put short sighted lust for a dollar above their own mission of providing facilities for a little time away from the stresses of this life.

I literally lived here for two months when I needed a local place to stay due to a new job. The staff went out of their way to accommodate me, and they seemed very happy to have the business because it was the off-season. I enjoyed my experience here.
