Let me start off by saying I was having a straight panic attack about staying here since I booked. I read the reviews after booking nonrefundable and was so scared. Thank goodness I didn't book elsewhere and just trusted myself and not the google reviews. First off: read what you are booking. A $20 resort fee and $50 incidental hold is standard for any hotel you'd stay at in the dells. It's probably more! Don't smoke, break or steal anything and you'll get your incidental hold back. It's cheaper than any hotel in the Dells area and it was affordable! I love this location being close to restaurants and the downtown Dells. The indoor water park and two outdoor pools were available during our Friday-Sunday stay. There were a couple times we got the whole pool to ourselves! We were so happy! If you have a little one who just wants a pool and doesn't care about big water slides this is great! The room was clean and had enough towels for myself, my husband and our daughter. Patio was nice and air conditioning worked. No complaints on the room other than the mattress was very springy. We were on the first floor room 166 and had no noise issues. We didn't hear any neighbors, doors, etc. My reasoning for the 3 star review over a 4 or 5 star is because I used to love coming here as a kid! Such magical memories I was looking forward to sharing with my kids. It now looks half abandoned and there's no magic or anything Polynesian about it now. I don't know if it's a new owner, owner spent too much at Ho-Chunk Casino or the Dells overlord Mt. Olympus taking over. But it's really sad to see it in the state that it is in.

Jul 21, 2025 · Ashley WalterTo start with we were charged a $20 resort fee. There is absolutely nothing about this place that is a resort. We aren't able to use the outdoor water park or indoor water park AT ALL. Check in as at 4:00 p.m., check out Is it 11:00 a.m. and they don't open the pool until noon. There's absolutely no breakfast offered there's also not even one vending machine or soda machine on the property. Our sink doesn't drain properly.. or at all. The beds are incredibly uncomfortable. The manager, Brian, came on the office yelling at me and another customer without even asking us what the issue was. Freddy tried to be helpful but Brian was a jerk. Also, I asked for the phone number to corporate so that we could file a complaint about these issues and we were told by Freddy that his boss does not allow him to have that phone number. Bad business all the way around we will definitely not be staying here again. I really suggest not wasting your money.
Jun 30, 2025 · Holly SealsI'd give 0 stars if I could. Guess it's my own fault. I booked through Expedia with cancelation insurance. I called a week in advance. Expedia couldn't get a hold of them for days, then it got closer to the check in and get denied all because a family member who was coming with my daughter and I had to have emergency surgery. The hotel manager I guess didn't care to let me just switch for next month. Clearly they don't care about family or single parents. Also the hotel is horrible to try and contact, their costumer service workers are rude as well. I work for a company who does work all over the US and will be sending an beware email to warn them about this place and Expedia as well as the insurance company on hotels. Thousands of workers who travel will be warned. What a joke, now reading reviews maybe I'm glad they didn't let me even switch to next month wanted to make a amazing memory with my 3 year daughter to wonderful Wisconsin dells. Guess I'll book at motel 6! never had issues there!
Jul 12, 2025 · Sebastian HansenRoom was newly remodeled, beds were hard and uncomfortable and had springs that made a lot of noise when you moved at all. Outdoor pools were not open with many of them being filled in, grounds greenery was all over over grown. No gift shop that we found, patio door had mold, hard pillows. The indoor water park was small but decent. Only 1 water slide was working out of the 2, small lazy river and a hot tub inside. 2 outdoor pools were open but dirty and super heavily chlorinated. Staff was rude, and wore plain clothes so couldn't tell who worked there and who was a guest. Hallways and entry ways smelled heavily of weed. Balcony had no chairs and a decent step down to get out. Shower water pressure was good. Small tv that kept buffering while watching anything. I remember staying here many years ago and it was very nice. Now it's run down and it seems the owner doesn't care much about the property. Also a 20.00 resort fee per night? For what?!
Jul 13, 2025 · Jamie StaubAll around pretty terrible experience. Chose to stay here the other weekend because many years ago it was a nice place. This time everything was a disaster. It was not mentioned until checking in that it’s $20 extra for each extra car. So with friends joining me we had to pay $40 extra for parking. Then in the room we found a nail in our bed sheets. When we mentioned this they did not apologize at all and when they re did the bed they didn’t even throw the nail away, they just moved it to the dresser. The pools were also all closed, a fine was listed if you opened your sliding door. The first morning we had NO hot water at all and the sink was leaking all over the floor. Once again when we mentioned the issues they said they will take care of it but shrugged it off and not once apologized or seemed concerned about any of these things. One apology would be nice since we were the ones paying to stay. Besides the room being spacious and in a decent location there isn’t anything nice to say unfortunately and I’m not a picky person when it comes to hotel rooms.
