I have stayed at this location before as it is where I needed to be at the time. The staff was always nice and the place was clean. So I did not hesitate to stay there this weekend. Boy, has this place changed! The rooms were dirty! The floor was full of dust and crumbs. The base boards in the bathroom had some type of dirty on it. The bathroom tub no longer had a stopper in it. The shower curtain had some type of brownish “smudges” on it.the bed sheets had stains all over it that I could only imagine what it is but I stopped myself because I really did not want to know. The staff was not really all that helpful. I was 3 people in the room and there is BARELY anything in the room like towels. I asked since we are 3 people can we get more towels. I was given one small towel and that was it. No washcloth to use the communal soap they had on the wall and also was given half of roll of toilet paper and no more. The towels were really old and needed an upgrade. I’d you plan on staying just know non addition to bringing your own towels you need your own pillows as well. I had asked for an extra pillow and was told “we will look for one and let you know”. Shocker I was never informed if I could have could not have one. Those pillows were so flat I had to roll my jacket up to prop myself up. While in the lobby 2 people had left due to the conditions of the hotel. One screaming because the upstairs was smelling of pot which could be smelled all throughout the facility. Also if you need accommodations people make sure you don’t relay just on what your booking says. My mom has a hard time with stairs and I noted we can only have first floor bedroom and they said no one Informed us. I told them look again and they saw my request and blamed someone else for the wrong assignment. Or at least that’s what I think he said as the person would not speak up and es behind plexy glass.

Red Roof Inn Denver Introduce

For those searching for "Hotels Near Of Me" in the Denver, Pennsylvania area, the Red Roof Inn Denver at 2017 N Reading Rd, Denver, PA 17517, USA, might appear as an option. You can reach them at (717) 336-4649 or +1 717-336-4649 for inquiries. When considering any accommodation, especially within a budget category, it's crucial to examine the available information and recent guest experiences to form a comprehensive understanding.

The environment at the Red Roof Inn Denver has received mixed, and at times, concerning feedback from recent guests. While previous stays by some customers indicated a clean environment, more recent accounts paint a different picture. Guests have reported issues with cleanliness, including floors being dusty and crumb-filled, dirty baseboards in bathrooms, and visible smudges or stains on shower curtains. A significant concern raised by multiple guests pertains to the cleanliness of the bed sheets, with descriptions of stains leading to discomfort and unease about the overall hygiene of the bedding. Furthermore, the overall facility has been noted to have issues, with reports of strong odors, specifically "smelling of pot," which permeated throughout the building and contributed to an uncomfortable atmosphere for some guests. This suggests that the hotel's general upkeep and immediate environment can vary significantly and may not consistently meet expected cleanliness standards. The lobby area, while a communal space, has also been associated with negative experiences due to staff demeanor, impacting the initial impression of the hotel's environment.

The services provided at the Red Roof Inn Denver, as described by recent customers, appear to be a significant area of concern. Guests have consistently noted a lack of helpfulness from the staff. For instance, when requesting additional towels for multiple occupants, guests have reported receiving only one small towel and no washcloths, despite communal soap being provided. Similarly, requests for basic amenities like toilet paper have been met with insufficient quantities, such as "half of roll," with no further provision. The quality of existing towels has also been described as "really old and needed an upgrade." Furthermore, the provision of pillows seems to be an issue; requests for extra pillows have been met with unfulfilled promises or a complete lack of availability, forcing guests to improvise with personal belongings for comfort. This lack of responsiveness and apparent scarcity of basic room necessities significantly impacts the guest experience. Additionally, there have been reports of difficulties in accommodating specific guest requests made during booking, such as ground-floor rooms for accessibility needs. Guests have indicated that the hotel either did not acknowledge or fulfill these requests, leading to frustration and inconvenience, and in some cases, staff deflecting blame rather than resolving the issue effectively. The general demeanor of the front desk staff has also been described as rude and uncaring, further detracting from the overall service quality.

Regarding features, the Red Roof Inn Denver aims to offer essential accommodations, typically including a bed and a private bathroom. However, based on guest reviews, the functionality and quality of these basic features are inconsistent. For instance, bath tubs have been reported missing stoppers, making them unusable for baths. The condition of the beds has also been a point of contention, with descriptions ranging from "hard a rock and sinking in the middle," suggesting potential issues with mattress quality or age. The general state of repair within the rooms has also been highlighted, with instances of wallpaper "falling off and tacked back up with staples" and staining on walls. While the hotel aims to provide a quiet environment, as noted by one guest, the presence of various issues with cleanliness and maintenance within the rooms themselves significantly diminishes the value of this feature. Given the feedback, prospective guests should be prepared for potential deficiencies in standard room features. The hotel's location on N Reading Rd places it within reach of local attractions and businesses, which might be a convenient feature for some travelers, however, the in-hotel experience seems to overshadow this convenience for many.

When it comes to promotional information, the given data does not explicitly state any current or past promotions offered by the Red Roof Inn Denver. Generally, Red Roof Inn properties are known for their budget-friendly rates, often appealing to travelers looking for economical stays. This price point is often their primary "promotion" in itself. However, based on the recent customer feedback provided, potential guests should carefully weigh the reported conditions against the price point. While affordability is a key factor for many using platforms like "Hotels Near Of Me," the described state of cleanliness, service, and basic amenities raises questions about the overall value proposition. Guests have specifically stated that they were "not impressed for the price" and advised others not to "be cheap like us and just spend $40 elsewhere," implying that even at a lower cost, the experience did not meet expectations. Therefore, if considering this hotel, it is advisable for prospective guests to directly contact the hotel at (717) 336-4649 or +1 717-336-4649 to inquire about any specific offers, but more importantly, to clarify current conditions and confirm that their specific needs (e.g., ground floor rooms, extra towels) can be adequately met before booking. The very high rate of refunds requested and granted without question, as described by a guest, suggests that the hotel may be aware of significant issues, which is critical information for any potential booking.

In summary, for local users searching on "Hotels Near Of Me," the Red Roof Inn Denver at 2017 N Reading Rd, Denver, PA 17517, USA, presents a challenging picture based on recent customer experiences. While previous stays may have been positive, the current feedback heavily indicates significant issues with room cleanliness, the availability and quality of basic amenities, and the helpfulness and demeanor of the staff. The reported instances of dirty rooms, lack of essential supplies, and unaddressed guest requests are serious concerns. Prospective guests prioritizing cleanliness, consistent service, and reliable room features might find this hotel to be a considerable gamble, even at a lower price point. It is strongly recommended to consider the detailed feedback from recent guests and perhaps explore other options in the "Hotels Near Of Me" category in the Denver, PA area that consistently receive higher satisfaction ratings for their environment, services, and features.

Only leaving 1 star because google doesn’t have a zero star option. As soon as we walked in the man at the front desk was rude and could care less we were there. Walked into our DISGUSTING room to find a sticky floor that hadn’t been swept in lord knows when. Literally shoes sticking to the floor when you walk. Pulled the covers back to find all the photos attached. Couldn’t begin to guess when the sheets had been changed last. Towels in the bathroom were dirty as well, just refolded. Went back to the lobby and asked for a refund and he just said ok and took the keys back. No questions asked, which tells me they are well aware how disgusting it is. Only leaving this review to save others the time of reserving a room here. Don’t be cheap like us and just spend $40 elsewhere

We go on a lot of road trips and tend to stay at 2 or 3 star hotels. why spend on a fancy accommodation when you will barely stay in the room? We have never had an issue with Red Roof in the past. The staff was decently nice, the room was refurbished, but the place STUNK of WEED! Now, we dont care if people smoke, but this stink was pungent and kept coming into our room. It was so bad that we had to go to the store to get air freshener, and used a towel to block the bottom of the entry door, but it still came through. We all slept rough as neither of us experienced having to sleep through this stink even when we were in college. This was awful. If the Management of this place cant control their visitors from smoking, they need to figure out a way to vent this out. Thanks to this experience, I doubt my wife will ever let me book a Red Roof again. If it weren't for the weed issue, I liked that they allowed one pet for free, the location appeared safe, and the room was decent (though it could be cleaned better and have permanently unstained sheets).

I stayed here for just one night to attend a concert in nearby Lititz. I don’t have any major issue. It’s not a glamorous hotel, but it’s not advertised or priced as one either. For a quick one night stay, I recommend

The location was great but the room could have been better! Room was a little on the dirty side but I have definitely been in worse. We slept well in the bed just had a neighbor that was up all night with their TV loud! The side entrance was surrounded by a lot of empty beer bottles and the hallway smelled of weed!
