We were sadly disappointed in the hotel as a whole. We had a cockroach in our room. We did not have daily clean up service. There was no microwave or mini-fridge. The second day, we found out fresh towels had to be picked up by the guest at the front desk. We were furnished a small bar of soap for bathing and enough shampoo for one cleansing. There were two of us for three nights. Good location. Old motel. If you stay here bring your own linens and bug spray.

May 16, 2025 · Oleta RussellThe only positives were the distance to the River Walk and the front desk agent when we checked in. Our first room has cockroaches running everywhere, second room no roaches but it was muggy, floors had not been swept or mopped, there were shoes prints everywhere. I had to clean the floors to feel mildly comfortable to walk without shoes on. The bathtub definitely has never been scrubbed down, had to clean that as well. The elevators were hot and smelled like weed. Charging for parking in a garage that you have to enter from the exit because the gate is broken was also not what I expected. If the rooms were cheap I would’ve expected this but they were $10 less than the Hilton across the street.
May 18, 2025 · Seferina LimonesI must start with booking the room, there are no words to explain how unprofessional the reservation representatives were. The first 2 representatives hung up in my face and the 3rd representative did get the reservation done however, once we arrived at the hotel, several of the questions I ask were not true. First, I was concerned about the fees and asked specifically what they were and no one could explain why the taxes were 20%. I asked if there were any other fees and was told no. Upon arrival to my surprise, there is a $15 parking fee. It’s not about the cost, but the fact that I ask about all taxes and fees, they never said it was mandatory to pay a parking fee. Personally with 20% taxes, you would think parking should be included. My mother arrived at the hotel first but I called to let them know she would get there 1st, but that wasn’t an easy request either. I called to Speak with management about the miscommunication and basically he told me if I had a problem with their policies he would release my reservation at no cost and I could go find a room elsewhere. Again… what happened to customer service?? It was spring break weekend, cheerleader competition, and high school state basketball finals, so basically, he knew we were not going to have many options for hotels. The attitude of every single person I spoke with was unacceptable. The room was dirty. We had to request for the sheets to be changed. The check out was unprofessional. I promise I will never stay at any red roof, regardless of the location nor recommend recommendation. We were forced to stay because we had nowhere else to go that wouldn’t cost us 3-4 times more than this hotel!
Apr 11, 2025 · Norrita JohnsonThis was the worse experience my husband and I have ever had. We stayed here for our wedding anniversary and regretted it. The key cards constantly kept not working leaving us stranded outside the parking garage, outside the hotel from the parking garage, and obviously our room. The room was decent but no matter the temperature you set it at, it stays hot. The biggest problem was they gave us a room that has a shared door with the room next door and you can hear EVERYTHING from your neighbor. If we had a baby or kids with us this would have been a nightmare. Lastly, they have several extra charges right now! See the picture for the extra charges they don’t mention to you when you’re booking. We will NEVER book here or at a Red Roof Inn again! If I could put 0/5 I would.
Apr 27, 2025 · Alexandrea RamirezI would never ever book at this location again my husband and I had a very bad experience with our stay. Staff was unprofessional disrespectful. Rooms had a bad old smell.. door would look properly. In the bathroom it felt someone was watching from the vent which I had my husband cover it with a hand towel.. The worse part was after paying for our 3 day stay we were never told we had to pay for parking. When we would come back for the night there was no parking what so ever because they were allowing other guests to use the hotel parking to attend a bar that was across the street. I DONT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO STAY AT THIS LOCATION
