I was very pleased with the hotel's location. The rooms were acceptable and clean, fulfilling the basic needs. I first I want to start off by saying, my family all worked and is still in the corporate office of Marriott for the last 40 years. I actually grew up in Marriott hotel chains. I typically do not to write about my experiences, but this particular Marriott did not represent the culture of Marriott. Started from check-in to checkout. I always give the front desk a disclaimer about being a Marriott baby. I get the key to the 1st room. It looked like they just tidy up the bed. Sheets weren't clean. My clorox wipes were grey after wiping down the common areas. And in the closet was a baby jacket on the luggage rack indicating no one really clean that room. SECOND ROOM- my family opened the door and we were blown back with a deep lingering curry smell. Air freshener would not do it. The THIRD ROOM was a handicap, the only room left, I was told. The bed was directly on the floor no railings or platform and when we pulled out the couch. Pill wrappers was all in the couch. I had to take pics. I just went downstairs and asked for a broom at this point. We were there 3 nights and I asked front desk what was their cleaning schedule. They said every 6 days and and a tidy up. Well now that made alot of sense because the 3 rooms I experience was more a tidy up vibe. The last night, coming home from my sister's party from becoming a medical doctor, we asked can we get a 30 min late checkout and the man said , NO. Last experience, now housekeeping has checkout printout sheet letting them know who checks out that day. My kids said, there was a knock on the door at 10:30ish A.M. knowing checkout is at 12 noon and they proceed to open my occupied room stating this is a Supervisor. Thank GOD, we had the door latch on. That broke the camel's back. I called the front desk and explained on how horrible this stay has been and now me and my kids safety now has been comprised. She told me to reach out to the General Manager, Hirsha. I called her 2 days later.. of course her resolve was apologizing and to give me points. Once again, deflecting and NO POINTs were given. I will never say don't stay at a Marriott but this one, stay WOKE!

I have not been in this area for a long time but we needed to stay the evening after my dog having a very long surgery the same day instead of driving 2 hours back home. Everyone was super friendly Miss Rasha the General Manager is very kind and accommodating and the breakfast was delicious! I will definitely be staying here again if the need arises. The hotel is very well maintained and smells wonderful when you first walk through the door. The room was very clean as well the hotel is beautiful inside and out and you can tell that the general manager cares about the appearance of this hotel and how the guest experience will be! Thank you so much again for the great stay! 😊

Stayed for a week Workers were very nice and friendly. Room was okay for the price. Breakfast was repeating and not many options.

This place is AMAZING. Only reason I stayed here was to go to a concert at the Gas South Arena, which was a 15 minute walk away. The rooms were spacious, updated, and most importantly, clean. I wish more hotels had a full kitchen like this. The bed was comfortable. The staff is phenomenal, everyone was friendly and welcoming. Lori and Kim at the Front Desk were so helpful and all of the food and beverage attendants did a wonderful job keeping the breakfast area clean. Speaking of, this hotel had one of the best complimentary breakfasts I’ve ever had. I was impressed by the oatmeal bar and topping selections for the other offerings. The make your own waffles were great too. Besides the hotel being a short walk to the arena, it is in a great area with other quick service restaurants within walking distance (firehouse subs, Chick-fil-a). Check-out being at noon is another bonus, we were able to sleep in before a long day of traveling. Cannot recommend this hotel enough, I didn’t want to leave!
