We have stayed several times now. Great rooms and location. We also had a wedding rehearsal dinner at the Rooftop Overstory Outpost. It was amazing! Michaela was our event coordinator and Nate was our banquet lead. Ask for them! The food and service were really good. Atmosphere was incredible.

May 20, 2025 · Andrea HollidayHotel is beautiful and the rooms are nice. The issues are the restaurant failed health inspection recently. The service at the restaurant/bar before peak hours is mediocre at best. The starbucks downstairs is nice to have, but when ordering breakfast there, they were either sold out of food items posted as available or the items were still frozen? I mean it’s a Starbucks and it was 1030 AM. The hotel is convenient to other restaurants in the area, and connected to the convention center which is convenient for those attending conferences etc. Also, if you want to attend a concert at the arena, this is where you should stay as it’s literally a 1 minute walk to the main doors.
Apr 30, 2025 · LenixWe had an overall great experience at this Westin location. The hotel is beautiful and 1 year old as of 2025. Our check in experience was very pleasant! The gentleman who helped us the evening of 3/21/25 very friendly. He acknowledged our status and went out of his way to find an upgrade. Later on we spoke with Bianca who was a delight. We told her we were off to find a park for our daughter to play at and she went out of her way to help us find an awesome park (which she did)!!!! Unfortunately, our check-out experience on the morning of 3/22/25 did not match our check in experience. The gentleman checking us out was not as upbeat or friendly. While he did ask us about our stay, there wasn't much warmth in his demeanor. It was a transactional experience verses one focused on customer service and the customer experience. As far as our room, we had a corner king studio suite. The room was spacious with. Free standing tub and shower. At night the room seemed dark. It needs a lamp or something on the side of the room with the couch. We would definitely stay here again.
Mar 22, 2025 · Trevor FergusonIf you stay here know that The Hotel is new an has potential but management is not following guest advice from "Google Reviews". Room was very advanced but room housekeeping didn't come so we went to them at 4pm. (and just got a couple towels.) In Room dinning service was not good. The Cesar Salad had no dressing but the stake/ crab cake was really good. Gym had two teenage boys running around in circles and one fell right by me. (cameras on security doing well nothing). So the thumping sound you hear at night is the flags in front of the hotel that are not secured correctly. A reviewer said he heard fireworks or noise from the concert hall nope flags!! Up stars roof top get's one of the 2 stars because it's amazing and so was the greeter. Over all I won't stay here again for what we paid. ($290 a night for this treatment is not a good buy)
Feb 19, 2025 · Greg HenryWe live in Duluth. We were having some work done on our house, so we needed to stay in a hotel for a few days. I selected this hotel because it was about 10 minutes from our house and my kids wanted a nice pool. Their pool is very nice. As is their fitness center. Some things I did not like: When we checked in to the hotel it was pretty late in the evening. We booked the executive suite because it was a total of four of us, my husband and our two children. We needed two beds, but we also needed a little extra space since we'd be there for a few days. When we got into the room the extra bed is supposed to be a couch pull out. There were no extra sheets, or bedding. We had to call down and asked for it to be sent up. The layout of the bathroom was also kind of weird. There's not a lot of counter space to place your items nor are there any drawers. There was no place to put any cleaned towels in the bathroom which was really weird. Some hotels will have a microwave where the ice machine is. They don't have that. We were able to request one a couple days into our stay. When we were checking out I called down to request a cart to move our luggage. We waited about 25 minutes. No one came. I went downstairs and I asked at the front desk and they said that if no one comes in the next few minutes then I'm welcome to get a cart near the Starbucks. We eventually ended up getting our own cart and moving our luggage down. I expected a better view. We were only on the fourth floor. I feel like if you're paying for an executive suite you kind of want a better view. I don't know if I will ever get another suite again, not sure if the extra space was worth the extra cost. While I want more space, I would prefer to have two actual beds versus one pull out from a couch. I probably won't stay here again just because of the layout in the bathroom. The location is convenient if you happen to be going to the gas South arena.
