The room we got was not cleaned properly. The bed, couch, and bathroom had hair all over. It was obvious the sheets had not been changed from the previous guests. Also, the garbage had not been emptied. It’s disappointing that Residence Inn sanitation standards at this location have fallen so much. On the positive side, their front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Also, their breakfast was good. We probably will stay here again due to the convenience. I’m surprised this hotel didn’t have a supervisor check the cleanliness of the rooms, like other hotels.

Jun 15, 2025 · RizwanDisappointing Stay – Platinum Elite Status Overlooked As a longtime Bonvoy Platinum Elite member, I am usually treated to room upgrades and great experience, but my recent stay was highly disappointing. Despite my status, I was placed in a handicapped room without notification, which was not conducive to a comfortable or relaxing stay. While I understand the need for accessibility, the extra-wide doors made basic tasks—using the toilet, showering, and moving between rooms—awkward and inconvenient. To make matters worse, the room had multiple maintenance issues that had clearly been neglected. The kitchen was dirty, with mashed potatoes caked on the drawer pulls. The pullout bed was broken, as were the towel rods, bathroom shelf, and sink panels. The AC vents were covered in dust, adding to the overall poor upkeep. Additionally, despite my allergy request for a feather-free room, the bedding did not meet this requirement. To top it all off, there were ants in the bathroom and toilet area, making an already uncomfortable stay even worse. The property itself also had its shortcomings. The gym was in poor shape and in serious need of a refresh, making it difficult to get a proper workout. Additionally, the parking situation was frustrating—not only is it not maintained or monitored by Marriott, but additional fees were tacked on beyond the advertised $10 per night rate. That said, there were a few positives. The kitchen staff did a fantastic job at breakfast and were incredibly friendly, and the lady at checkout was genuinely mortified by my experience and sincerely apologized. Additionally, the pool area was very nice and well-maintained, which was one of the few highlights of the stay. However, when I initially reported the room issues, the front desk staff on duty was pleasant but unconcerned, stating that there were no other options or upgrades available for the duration of my stay. For a brand that prides itself on rewarding loyalty, this experience fell far below expectations. I hope management takes guest preferences, room conditions, and service recovery more seriously in the future. As of now, I will be reconsidering my stays at this property.
Mar 27, 2025 · GaryThe room was amazing, breakfast was great, but best of all was the staff, so helpful and very welcoming. 10/10 will for sure stay again. The only thing I was missing was an ice machine ( since I am a freezing cold water snob) but the front desk had someone bring me a bag of ice that I put in my freezer and it lasted me the whole 4 day stay.😍
Apr 18, 2025 · Trish GraceI was going to write a pretty good review...until it came time to check out. During my stay (I was there for three weeks) the only real issue I noticed was housekeeping would leave trash in the rooms. I saw a couple other people mentioned this. When it came time to check out though, I had an absolutely horrible experience. The website said check out was at 1200. So around 1115 I went ahead and started loading my car. I returned to my room around 1125 only to find housekeeping trying to pull out the bedsheets, etc. I met a very snarky kid in the hall who kept asking "if I forgot something" and if "I paid for the late check out". I was not aware that you needed to pay for the late check out if it was not yet check out time, my mistake. After I finally got him to go away by pointing out that it was still only 1130, I then had to spend 15 minutes trying to coax my hissing, terrified cat out from under the bed. So in the end, by trying to rush me out they ended up delaying my departure. When I did check out they told me it was in fact 1200 so I don't know what this kid's problem was. I got a half-hearted "oh I'll talk to the supervisor". All of this would be bad enough, if not for the fact that I threw out my back, so all that crawling around on the floor looking for the cat was pretty excruciating. I've stayed at a couple Residence Inns and honestly had a pretty good experience. But this little jerk trying to force me out of my room early so he could get started has soured me to the brand entirely, and probably to Marriott as a whole.
Apr 20, 2025 · Philip JohnsonWow... service over the top. Night shift management noticed me carrying some birthday swag through the lobby. An hour later a knock on my door and a card and cake presented to me by staff. Special props to Margo and Jarod. Great hotel, will stay there again.
