This is the best place I have ever stayed. The staff for one, makes it feel like home. They are more than friendly, professional, caring and helpful with mapping information, trails, etc. The Cabins are cleaner than my own home. We don't hesitate to get unpacked hit the beds or couch and relax for a few. No worries at all about the hygiene. They are top notch when it comes to the cabins. The cabins themselves are all very unique, with different themes in each one. If you're wanting the wilderness experience, then Running Bear is the place to rent from! The cozy, more than comfortable cabins give that old time explorer/hiker/backpacker feel with the safety, and soundness of a newly built home. I love sleeping in listening to the rain on the roof! Nothing more enjoying than the peace we get while staying here! Parking is great, plenty of room for all sorts of activities for the kids. It's a beautiful place! Oh, and don't forget to pick up some home made jam before you leave! You won't regret it !!

Sep 15, 2024 · T BI'll start by saying I loved this place. While this won't be for everyone, this is exactly what I was looking for, rustic cabin with everything we needed at a great price. We were only planning on spending a few hours here in addition to sleeping, otherwise we were going to be out and about. So I didn't want to pay a lot since we would be there much. This place was easy to find, private and quiet. You do have to bring a few of your own things, but it had a refrigerator, stove and kitchen stuff. We enjoyed our time playing cards in the cozy cabin. This isn't plush, or fancy, but if your looking for an up north cabin it was awesome. I'd totally stay here again!! We visited in late July over labor day weekend in the hunters cabin. Thanks for the great stay!!
