We stayed at Fairway Forest. It has very nice accommodations, all newly remodeled with quarts counters and a huge shower and other high end furnishings. The pool and other amenities are 3 mile drive and the lake is about 2 minutes away. No kids allowed in the sauna or hot tub. Pools are heated. Very few stores if you need anything you have to drive an hour if dollar general or Ingles don't carry it.

The lodging typically consists of apartment-style suites, ranging from one-bedroom to two-bedroom units, often featuring full kitchens (or kitchenettes), separate living areas, and private balconies or patios. These units are designed to feel like a home away from home, with amenities such as washers/dryers (in most units), DVD players, televisions, and Wi-Fi internet access. Many units also boast cozy fireplaces and jetted tubs, adding to the comfort and luxury. Recreational features are a major draw year-round. Golf enthusiasts can enjoy access to an 18-hole PGA golf course (Sapphire National Golf Club) and a 9-hole executive course (Red Bird Golf Course), along with driving ranges and putting greens. The River Walk, a meandering trail along the Horsepasture River, offers a peaceful way to connect with nature. The Activity Field hosts various sports and events, including arts and crafts festivals and concerts on the slopes. The resort even features "Bark Parks" with designated areas for small and large breeds, making it convenient for guests traveling with their furry companions.

These promotions often include discounted rates for specific booking periods, extended stay offers, or packages that combine accommodation with access to certain resort amenities. For example, guests might find deals that include amenity passes, which are required for access to many facilities such as pools, golf courses, and tennis courts (though some facilities like Ski Sapphire Valley and Red Bird Golf Course are open to the public without a pass). Some vacation rentals within the Sapphire Valley Resort complex may offer discounted tickets to attractions like the Biltmore Estate or savings on activities like the Vordach Zip Line. Loyalty programs, such as those associated with Wyndham Destinations (which manages parts of Sapphire Valley, like Mountain Laurel Villas), may offer VIP benefits, RCI Silver Crown Resort® awards, and points accumulation for future stays.
It is highly recommended for potential guests to visit the official Sapphire Valley Resorts website (e.g., SapphireValleyResorts.com or SapphireValley.com) and the websites of affiliated properties (like Club Wyndham Resort at Fairfield Sapphire Valley) to find the most current and specific promotional offers, as these can change seasonally. Early booking, especially for peak seasons like fall foliage or winter ski periods, is advisable to secure preferred accommodations and take advantage of any limited-time deals. Transparent information regarding check-in/check-out times, cancellation policies, and any associated amenity fees (e.g., $2/day/person for ages 14 and up with a 3-day minimum for guest amenity passes) is typically provided.

Jun 07, 2025 · Nikki FergerSapphire Valley is great! Right in the middle of the land of 1000 waterfalls, you've got mountains, rivers, lakes, waterfalls, and everything in between. Lots of good restaurants as well. I own property that is governed by the Master Association, So I'm somewhat of a fixture with them. I understand that it's tough to get people to come up the mountain to work when the cost of living up here is so high, but I do wish that the resort would do a better job of training their staff.
Apr 04, 2025 · Alisa ClickengerPlease,Please do not use Sapphire resort. They are scammers, I paid off my loan, but was told I no longer have the time share any more, because of late payment of maintenance fee. But got mislead, was told the loan is more important than the maintenance fee. If you are in a time share of any kind, and want to get out, just stop paying on your maintenance
