The rooms were fairly clean with no signs of any kind of bugs. The beds were pretty comfortable and we enjoyed the large walk in shower. Plumbing was all functional, water was hot, and there was an appropriate amount of towels that were clean. Negatives... The pool area is closed by order of the health dept., with no permit being issued for 2025. One of the days the door to get out of the hotel wasn't functioning and staff didn't seem to care. Breakfast was not ready until about 45 minutes later than posted on our first day, and if you are looking for a hot buffet you will find waffles. There was bread for toast, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, 2 cereal selections, coffee, juice, and hot tea. The hotel is aging and needs many updates, however for the price we would stay here again if in the area. Last thing to note is that parking is free, but very limited, and there is really no place to park if you have an RV or are towing anything.

While the hotel is generally well-regarded for its core offerings, it's worth noting some areas where guests have provided feedback. Some visitors have mentioned that the hotel is "aging and needs many updates," and that the hallways on some floors can have an "old cigarette smell, maybe from the carpets." There have been isolated issues with the pool area being closed by order of the health department, with no permit issued for 2025, which can be a disappointment for guests hoping to use this amenity. Additionally, the complimentary breakfast, while available, has been described as having "barely variety" and sometimes not being ready at the posted time. It typically includes cold options like hard-boiled eggs, yogurt, cereal, bread for toast, and a waffle maker, along with coffee and juice, rather than a hot buffet. Parking, while free, can be "very limited," especially for larger vehicles like RVs or those towing anything. Despite these points, many guests, considering the "price," would "stay here again if in the area," highlighting the strong value proposition.

Apr 28, 2025 · Serenity SearchersStay for a night to sleep. Original called to book a room and was told I got first floor. But once we checked in, we got the 3rd floor. Honestly didn’t mind the floor since we didn’t have much to carry. Once we got to our floor, I noticed the hallways smelled like old cigarettes smell, maybe from the carpets. The room we got was decent and clean. Tv had channels to watch. Breakfast is from 6am-10am but there’s barely variety. For breakfast, the fridge has boiled eggs, yogurt and salted butter. There was slices bread, jam and syrup. Fruit was just apples, waffle maker, cereal and coffee. I pay around $90 a night. Honestly breakfast could better but I only booked since it was the closest and available near me.
May 26, 2025 · Mariluz LunaNever will I ever come here again. I booked a week and immediately regretted not checking the reviews first. Calling this place disgusting is being nice. I checked in and after going to my room, turned around and checked out 2 minutes later due to not feeling safe. Screens were shredded and torn, the entryway smelled of heavy chemicals, there were bugs practically glued to curtains, the pool was undergoing what looked like construction. I shoukd have left but my idiot brain decided to at least give the room a chance...I shouldn't have. The elevator smelled of peed and the hallway smelled like febreezed over cigarette smoke and weed. The carpets and walls were dingy, light fixtures were crooked and barely hanging on. The room itself was no better. Small holes in the wall and bug in the lights and smelled weird. The desk clerk said they refund me the $629.19 and I would only be charged the $99.15 cancelation fee. Well, the next day I see they put in some random pending charge of $471.34! Trying to get this resolved has been an absolute nightmare and now I see they're trying to up the cancelation fee which is illegal as the contract stated the exact cancelation fee price. Never ever ever again will I use Choice Hotels...
Jun 03, 2025 · Mara CooperThe manager Ragy was very helpful. Comped us into a first floor King Suite room when our room as reserved online did not actually exist at this hotel. For some reason the website where I reserved the room showed queen beds when they are actually only doubles. And the reservation showed as a first floor room so my wife could walk to it without having to use her mobility scooter. But when we arrived, it was on the 3rd floor. (They do have working elevator.) Ragy got us all set so our stay was wonderful. He also helped me figure out the TV remote so my wife could watch her shows. Room was beautiful. Fitness room on site. I would return here in the future. Friendly staff, Ragy, makes the stay turn out really well after a long drive and a website misdirection.
Jun 11, 2025 · john rustinThe pool was closed because they don’t have a 2025 permit. Buffet breakfast consisted of waffle iron, yogurt and toast. Screens on the windows completely torn. Trash in parking lots and grass extremely tall. Would not recommend staying here. Didn’t stay full reservation and requested refund for the 1 night didn’t stay and was denied. Save yourself a headache and book at a different hotel
