I booked this hotel on booking.com for what I paid and then also had to pay additional for parking on the property I could have gotten a nicer hotel with parking included and free breakfast the room was not as clean as I would have expected or wanted, the bathroom had hair in the tub and on the floor that did not belong to us! There was a musty pee smell in the bathroom, and the main part of the room was very musty! We had a balcony but it took two of us to open the door for the balcony. Also we arrived early so that we could see where it was located before we went riding around the city. At that time we confirmed our booking have a conversation about getting a room on one side of the building versus the other because of the view knowing that we were going to have a balcony room. We were told that that would not be a problem whatsoever, however, when we arrived for our check-in it wasn't until we got upstairs to our room that we realized they put us on the complete opposite side so all we had to look at was trees!I can't say that even though I was afraid to turn back the covers because of the condition of the bathroom I didn't want to risk it with the bed but the beds were in fact comfortable the one and only chair in our room was so very Staind that we felt the need to cover it with towels. Also my guest and I are both disabled and we asked for a luggage cart when we arrived the clerk that was working told us that it could be anywhere so we needed to go look for it. Naturally I did not accept that and told him that he needed to go look for it or find someone that would. He then left us sitting in the lobby for more than 30 minutes waiting for a luggage cart. I would never stay at this hotel ever again. It is overpriced, not clean enough, and I knew nothing in advance about a $150 security deposit or $28 parking fee. The location however is decent as it is close to everything we were going to.... Wish I had stayed at the Hilton which would have cost me the same as this hotel with the parking included and I would not have been charged a $150 security deposit and everything would have been nice and clean and they would have bent over backwards to not only get me a luggage card but probably help unload the luggage.

May 15, 2025 · Teresa SmithThis is a really nice hotel located near 75W. If you're driving and want to get to different shopping malls, movie theaters, etc, then Google maps should be you goto. It'll get you to your destination quicker and help avoid traffic jams. If you don't prefer to drive There are lots of eating places nearby and delivery available... driver and driver-less. Back to the hotel. I love that they have a sofa, fridge and a nice desk for work. Downstairs, in the lobby, there are at least 3 enclosed table areas where you and a small group can sit, eat, and/or watch TV (TV remote included at each table. The workout area and pool are also nice... although, at my age, I'm more of a jacuzzi kind of a guy. This hotel doesn't offer continental breakfast. But Silver Diner is just to the left of the hotel about a block away. I really wanted to get out and see more of Atlanta. But I've spent much of my time basking in the peaceful, friendly atmosphere that this hotel provided. Great hotel. Great people working here. Great service.
Apr 28, 2025 · CHUCK DCheck in was okay. The people at the Front desk at the time of check in were on their phones all the time. Checked in to my room and it had a pungent smell. Reminded me of going to the mall in the middle east. Room size was just right for two people. But the room was not clean (as you can see in the pictures). Not worth it at all. Room rate was expensive. Parking was expensive. Breakfast is for purchase. Housekeeping is by request. Basic amenities. No microwave in the room. It’s not worth it. Was a little worried about my dog sleeping on the floor since I don’t think the carpet’s even vacuumed. Sink drains very slow. I was in room 407 next to the supply room i guess. In the morning you’d hear banging of doors and walls every now and then from the supply room next door. Nowhere on the website did it say pool was closed. Phone doesn’t work. Just a dial tone and that’s it. There’s a clicking in the ceiling every now and then the whole day and night. Bar is never open in the evening. There’s no designated smoking area. Double check your receipt as i was charged double for pet fee when it’s part of the package. I got the paw package and it includes a welcome gift, but never received that welcome package. Carpet in the hallways and elevator looked like it never got vacuumed for a while.
Apr 09, 2025 · Jce AniMy family rented two rooms for my sister's graduation, and in both rooms, the body wash was empty. If the cleaners aren't bothering to keep the body wash in stock, it makes me wonder where else they were cutting corners. The room didn't feel super clean either, and I generally didn't enjoy my time here. The only good thing about this location is that it's within walking distance to Georgia Tech's campus. If that's what you're looking for, this hotel is adequate, but otherwise I would highly recommend going elsewhere.
May 05, 2025 · マンチカツ(MunchKatsu)Background: my friend and I checked in on a Friday and checked out on a Sunday and stayed there to attend a concert as it was close to the venue PROS: Gated location--must have a hotel key card to enter through the gates so little to no worries on safety Parking--plenty of parking spaces Staff--friendly and accommodating Location--the fun, touristy spots are close to the hotel Lobby--the lobby area is really clean and nice social area CONS: Deposit--they charge a refundable $500 deposit that must be paid upon check-in. This was never mentioned anywhere on their website Cleanliness--this was by far the filthiest hotel I've stayed at (and I once stayed in a roach infested motel so that says a lot). Pro tip: bring your own cleaning supplies or ask housekeeping. The bathroom had permanent pee smell no matter how much my friend and I cleaned it (we later found out that the smell was coming from the shower curtain), mold in the vents, and popped sheets (meaning that the sheets were never changed, just straightened to make it look new. Pro tip: always ask for fresh linens upon arrival and change the bedding asap. You'll see why soon) and as I was stripping the sheets, there was a bottle cap and used tissue underneath it. Also, the sofa in the room was pretty disgusting and had stains, but I'll attribute that to general wear and tear. Broken Appliances--went to turn off the AC and it wouldn't turn off. Okay...that's fine. Got bored and wanted to watch TV but the TV wouldn't turn on (via remote and manual). Tried to call the reception desk from the hotel phone to inform them of this so they can send someone to fix it, but (surprise) the phone didn't work either Would I stay here again? Absolutely not, but this is hotel is pretty reasonably priced and is in a good area. I want to acknowledge that this rating is in regard to the room that I stayed in. I'm sure that there are plenty of rooms in this hotel that are well kept, but I, unfortunately, did not receive one of those rooms. Also, there isn't a traditional buffet style continental breakfast. It's just cold/frozen food that the cashier reheats. Nonetheless, what I got was pretty good! I rated this a 3/5 but my true rating is a 2.5/5.
