I recently stayed here with my mother, my sister, and 10 month old niece. After a poor experience from a nearby hotel, we were left to find a hotel on very short notice. We had superior service from both Shazia and Jaynell here. They went above and beyond to ensure we felt comfortable and safe in our stay there. They found us a great rate on our room that was less expensive than what we were paying at our original hotel! For the price, this hotel is honestly a steal. Free gym and breakfast including bagels, cereal, hard boiled eggs, and fresh milk! (Milk alternatives available as well). The manager was also really cool and the housekeeping staff were all very friendly. When we go back to the DC area we will definitely be staying here again.

While the hotel offers excellent value, some guests have noted that the room design is "definitely styled for a one night stay," lacking traditional features like drawers or in-room coffee makers. However, this is balanced by the provision of a refrigerator in each room and coffee/tea available in common areas. Some isolated concerns regarding the smell of weed in common areas (parking lot, halls, stairs) and loud guests in hallways have been mentioned, indicating areas where the hotel may need to enhance monitoring. Despite these points, the overall sentiment remains highly positive, with the convenient location, pleasant staff, and complimentary breakfast consistently earning praise.

Mar 29, 2025 · Raul MartinezI'm a little disappointed by this Hilton owned property. The hotel is conveniently located and in good condition. However, the rooms are definitely styled for a one night stay (no drawers or coffee maker). The smell of weed was throughout the property (parking lot, halls, stairs). The guests were very loud in the hallways; kids slamming doors and yelling/playing. The staff were pleasant and the free breakfast was ok.
Jun 09, 2025 · Lisa BWe had left a hotel in the middle of the night due to the filthiness of the motel and spark by Hilton was able to get us in. Staff was very friendly rooms were very clean. The building was clean. The floors were clean. Rooms and bathroom was very clean and smelled fresh. We were very impressed.
Jun 01, 2025 · Jamie BoydNever stay here!! Stay away! Staff are in on it. If you’re a woman, please don’t stay here—especially alone. My boyfriend and I stayed at SPARK by Hilton in Germantown, MD for a night to ourselves while the grandparents watched the kids. It was supposed to be a relaxing night. He had to leave for work around 2 a.m. (he does road closures and construction), but he planned to be back by 8 a.m. Not long after he left, I woke up to knocking on the door. At first, I thought maybe he had forgotten something, so I called out, “Babe, did you forget something?” but I didn’t get up right away because he had a key—he could just let himself in. Then I heard more knocking, so I went to check. When I looked through the peephole, it was completely dark—like someone had their finger covering it. That’s when I got scared. I said, “Who is it?” and there was no response. I immediately called my boyfriend, and he said, “It’s not me—I’m at work.” He turned around right away, rushed back to the hotel, and called the police on the way. When he got there, he told me that as he was leaving earlier, he saw a man pacing in the hallway who looked like hotel staff, but something felt off. He had a name tag and everything, but his behavior was strange. When we reported it to the front desk and described the man, they told us no one like that worked there—even though he clearly had a hotel badge. It gets worse. When my boyfriend got back to our room, he noticed black tape across several doors—including ours. When police showed up, the guests in the room next to us came out—it was two young women staying alone. It was clear that someone had been watching or had inside information, and this wasn’t just some random incident. It felt like a setup. To top it off, the police didn’t seem to take it seriously at all. I’ve never been more scared, and I won’t ever stay at this location again. Women—especially if you’re traveling alone—please be cautious. This experience was deeply unsettling, and it could have ended much worse if my boyfriend hadn’t acted quickly.
Apr 20, 2025 · Jennifer AdeleThe rooms are heavily perfumed. I can understand the lobby having a signature scent, but both rooms that I tried smelled like walking into an Abercrombie & Fitch store. Neither is there any kind of sound deadening, so you hear every single door slam. Ended up checking out at 11pm, and going somewhere else, instead, losing $135 in the process...
