We loved this sparking clean hotel! Rooms and bathroom were pristine clean and very spacious. Very basic continental breakfast consisting of bagels, muffins, yogurt, coffee and juice which is great to hold you over til your next main meal. Great location if you’re staying to be close to the Opryland or an event at Gaylord which both are in walking distance, but not the best for downtown fun but still only a short drive. I have to give a shout out to Tracey K at the front desk! She was so sweet and very helpful for an unfortunate situation that was my fault but she made it right!
Hey there, Tennessee! When planning your next trip to Nashville, whether it's for a memorable night at the Grand Ole Opry, an exciting event at the Gaylord Opryland Resort, or simply a weekend escape to soak in the Music City vibe, finding the right hotel is a crucial part of the experience. We all look for that perfect balance of comfort, convenience, and value. Today, we’re shining a light on a relatively new option that’s sparking interest in the Opryland area: **Spark by Hilton Nashville at Opryland**.
Spark by Hilton is a newer brand from the renowned Hilton family, designed to offer a "premium economy" stay that doesn't compromise on the essentials. It aims to provide clean, comfortable rooms, friendly service, and valuable amenities at an accessible price point. This particular location in Nashville’s Opryland area is gaining attention for its proximity to major attractions and its commitment to a straightforward, positive guest experience. In this detailed overview, we'll dive into what makes Spark by Hilton Nashville at Opryland a noteworthy choice for locals and visitors exploring our vibrant city, ensuring you have all the facts to plan your perfect stay.
The location of Spark by Hilton Nashville at Opryland is a significant advantage, especially for those keen on exploring the heart of Nashville’s country music scene. You’ll find this hotel conveniently located at **2516 Music Valley Dr, Nashville, TN 37214, USA**. This puts it squarely in the Opryland neighborhood, a vibrant hub of entertainment and attractions.
One of its biggest draws is its walkability to key destinations. Both the legendary Grand Ole Opry and the expansive Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center are within easy walking distance. This is ideal for concert-goers, convention attendees, or anyone wanting to explore these iconic Nashville landmarks without needing to drive or rely on shuttles. The area is also home to various restaurants and shops, adding to the convenience for guests.
While its location is superb for Opryland attractions, it's worth noting that it's not the ideal spot for those primarily interested in the bustling downtown Nashville scene with its famous honky-tonks and diverse culinary landscape. Downtown is a short drive away, typically around 20 minutes, which is manageable for most, but not within walking distance for a casual stroll to Broadway’s nightlife. However, for those with a car, Spark by Hilton Nashville at Opryland offers **complimentary self-parking**, a valuable perk that makes venturing out to other parts of Music City hassle-free. This combination of Opryland proximity and free parking makes it an appealing choice for a wide range of travelers, especially those planning to focus on the entertainment district.
Spark by Hilton Nashville at Opryland focuses on providing essential services that cater to the needs of modern travelers, ensuring a comfortable and convenient stay.
Spark by Hilton Nashville at Opryland prides itself on several key features and highlights that enhance the guest experience, though some points have drawn mixed reviews.
However, it's important to be aware of some areas where the hotel might not meet all expectations. The "basic continental breakfast," consisting mainly of bagels, muffins, yogurt, coffee, and juice, has been noted as not being a full "continental" spread, particularly lacking fresh fruit or hot options. For business travelers, the absence of a proper desk chair (only a small backless stool was provided in one instance, leading to a guest taking a plastic chair from the breakfast area) could be a considerable drawback. Additionally, a guest reported an "abnormally long" check-in process and skepticism regarding a late check-out request, as well as a "beat up" elevator. While generally clean, one room was noted to have "clearly been smoked in before." These points are valuable for setting realistic expectations.

May 27, 2025 · Ramona Gray2 stars because the bed was comfortable. Check-in took abnormally long, and my request for a late check out (i was the only car in the parking lot when checking in at 6 pm) was met with a lot of skepticism. The elevator was very beat up, and i was given and accessible room (I don't need an accessible room, she told me I booked an accessible room). There was no chair at the desk in the room, so I called the front desk, twice, no answer. I went all the way back down to the front desk to ask why there wasnt a chair. She put me in a different room that had clearly been smoked in before, but still no chair. I called again, she said the chair was the small backless stool in the closet. This is unacceptable, how can anyone work at a desk on a stool? She then allowed me to take a hard plastic chair from the breakfast area..which leads me to the hilarious breakfast. Bagels, plain cream cheese, butter. Yougurt. No fresh fruit etc. This is NOT "continental". I'm loyal to Hilton but I'll never stay at this brand and certainly not this location. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, but this is not a hotel for a business traveler.
Feb 23, 2025 · Eric ShaferThis motel appears to be recently renovated. We were on the first floor which is great since we were told by other guest that the elevators were not working and it would have been a pain to have transported our luggage up flights of stairs. The rooms were nice and clean and provided a quite nights sleep. My one complaint was with the workers at the main desk. When I first arrived I was not greeted. Which is fine since I had completed onlne check in. Upon several time entering through the font door I was not greeted one time and during my time setting in the lobby I did not observe anyone being greeeted. Not only is this not very customer friendly it could be a security issue as they seemed to ignore anyone entering or exting the motel.
Jun 10, 2025 · Kevin LloydA solid budget-friendly option. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with all the basic amenities needed for a short stay. The staff was friendly and check-in was smooth. It’s not a luxury hotel, but for the price, it’s a great value. The location was convenient, and everything worked as expected. Would definitely consider staying again.
Mar 20, 2025 · Arturs MonsFrom the moment my daughter and I arrived from a long distant travel for a cheer competition, we were welcomed with a pleasant smile and warm greeting from Linda, who was manning the front desk at the time. She was very helpful when inquiring about local attractions and places to pick up necessities. The hotel was pristinely clean, smelled fresh and not stuffy, and although carpet was placed in the hallways was well maintained. Knowing that this is a renovated property, it was redesigned well and all areas of design made it quite efficient. The room key could be obtained digitally or you could pick it up at the front desk. The room itself is smartly designed for the modern minimalist, which afforded everything you absolutely needed in a stay. It was well lit, spacious enough, super clean, and not cluttered with unnecessary design pieces that tend to get in a way in a standard queen bed room. The furniture could move in ways to create the space needed, for exampled the table, roll out to full desk or luggage stand. The beds were comfortable and the sheets smelled clean along with the pillows. They did not smell of sweat, as we know pillows, themselves, are not usually thrown into the wash. The parking is extremely convenient. Staff were very friendly! Location is great, right next to the Gaylord and Opry Mills mall. My daughter and I felt safe. I truly would recommend this stay to anyone traveling with family or not.
