Feb 20, 2025 · MK 18I recently stayed at Spark by Hilton near San Antonio SeaWorld, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! From the moment I arrived, everything was just perfect. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and I had one of the best nights of sleep in a long time. The continental breakfast was delicious, with plenty of fresh options to start the day right. I also really appreciated the 24/7 availability of coffee, decaf, and hot water—such a small but thoughtful detail that made a big difference! The lobby was beautiful and inviting, with super cozy chairs that made it a great place to sit and relax. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-maintained, giving me plenty of room to unwind after a long day. Another big plus was the huge parking area, which made coming and going so convenient. I have to give a huge shout-out to the front desk staff—they were incredibly attentive, friendly, and respectful. Their warm and genuine hospitality truly made my stay even better. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. Can’t wait to stay here again!

Just beware that the “breakfast” consisted of bagels, muffins, and yogurt only. I think a waffle machine or some fruit would be nice but overall not that big of an issue. They also have complementary coffee in the lobby throughout the day which I thought was really nice.
Feb 01, 2025 · Tristen PoolCheck-in was good customer service was good, I didn't like how the rooms were connected and right beside each other it was awkward but overall they have the lock so it was ok besides I needed a place to stay due to having a procedure the next day. Also bathroom had a leaking faucet in the shower and the tub looked very damaged or used or not cleaned right there were spots like blood on the wall or just dirty could use some maintenance as well the bathroom tiles were coming up and making a lot of noise when you step on them. Also, no microwave in the room I had brought my meal prep and I didn't want to go downstairs constantly cause they only have 1 microwave in the area where they sell stuff. Eventually, I had to go buy food and a hot soup since I got rained on. Over all it's not a bad location price was reasonable definitely could use some maintenance thru the rooms. Traffic does suck though due to construction around the areas so keep in mind leave with plenty of time took me over 30 minutes to get to my Drs office which usually takes me around 7 minutes.
May 10, 2025 · KrisI went with this hotel for price with some decently high expectations since it’s Hilton Brand. However, I was left disappointed with our stay. Check in was easy and great. Friendly front desk agent who didn’t even bat an eye when my 2yr old decided to lay on the floor since it was 11pm. Started off strong. We turn the corner and find that the elevator is broken, but that’s fine for us because I checked in the night before and grabbed a first floor room since it was me and 2 kids. There was an ac in box and a treadmill in the hallway as well. Personally, I think those should have been placed somewhere other than a public hallway for guests but doesn’t affect the stay to much. We get in the room and there are no trash bags in the trash cans and a spider lounging in it. I asked that night for a liner and was given a laundry bag. No biggie, it was 11pm. But the next day after house keeping came through, there was still no bag. When I asked again, they told me they don’t put liners in the trash cans. I get some hotels are trying to be eco friendly but unless they are wiping out and disinfecting those trash cans every time they dump them, that’s a problem. You have diapers, pull ups, feminine hygiene products to be disposed of just to name a few bio hazards that come from not use liners for trash cans. One of the trash cans had either a stuck receipt or an imprint of a receipt to the bottom of the can, I didn’t look to into it because I was not putting my hand into a trash can that might not be clean. (I will be bringing my own liners from now on in case I run into another hotel with the same mindset.) the fridge had a pad of butter in it from the last guests as well so I question how well house keeping does between guests. I know they acquired this building from another chain but I don’t know how long ago so some addition problems could be their remodeling still isn’t complete or it’s just falling apart. The handle to the bathtub was leaking water down the wall, staying in the tub. The spigot was coming off the wall. I did let them know and show them the photos so hopefully they’ll fix it for the next guests, however I told them I did not want to move rooms because the elevator was busted and I was not lugging 2 kids and all our stuff up 1-3 flights of stairs. Bathroom was still usable, just not in very good repair and with the door shut you couldn’t hear the water dripping. Their breakfast was definitely not what I was expecting from a Hilton property. It was toast, bagels, cereal, fruit and I think I saw yogurt at one persons table. I get it’s a free breakfast at a cheaper property by Hilton, but even at the middle of no where small town Hilton properties have some sort of hot breakfast whether it’s waffles or some microwave eggs in a serving dish. Thankfully we didn’t have any more issues until the day we checked out. I had my eldest do a sweep around the edge of the bed to make sure we didn’t leave anything behind. On the side that luckily the kids stayed away from, my daughter found a pair of used woman’s panties that were definitely not mine. We were there from Thursday night to Sunday morning. She also found a dust covered plastic fork as well. Honestly this is the first time I’ve been disappointed in a Hilton property. Maybe that’s on me for not doing to research of it better or going in with higher expectations for a cheaper style hotel with the brand. Maybe it’s a newly acquired location still doing renovations. But either way I probably won’t stay at that location again.
