Smells so good when you walk in. The lobby is very clean and the guest service was very nice. The room upon entry had an old mildew type of smell. I sprayed some air freshener and kept the air on. Beds were comfortable. I liked how the toilet was separated from the shower (had it's own room). The TV was a bit outdated and was dimmer as if the tube was going bad. I called and the maintenance was so nice. The gentleman (African American Maintenance Tech) tried to switch the entire thing out but that TV ended up being bad as well. We kept the original and he reported it to the front desk. He apologized to us time and time again. The front desk gave points for that inconvenience. Overall the hotel is clean, rooms are comfortable, parking is $10 a day per vehicle. The front desk staff and management are nice. This property will stay on my list.

Jun 15, 2025 · She LoveEh, it was just okay. It's not the best hotel I have ever stayed in but not the worst either. The only issue we really had was the lack of cleanliness of the rooms and the common spaces, such as the lobby. As other reviewers have pointed out, there were stains on the floors, linens, light switches, and even on the toilet paper...🤢 It is evident that they just spruce up but don't actually clean/disinfect in between guests. Fortunately, we brought our own disinfectant wipes. Had the rooms been properly cleaned, I would have brought up my review to 4 stars. We unanimously agreed that the best part of the hotel was the breakfast, and we actually looked forward to it every morning. I love a good, obligatory Texas-shaped waffle! Moreover, the hotel itself is in a location that is convenient to a lot of attractions, restaurants, etc., although I will say it wasn't exactly the nicest part of town either. You could tell it was a fairly low income area. However, we were fortunate enough to not have any issues with break-ins as other reviewers have mentioned. Overall, this hotel was just okay, but it definitely does not live up to the Marriott standard, especially for the price you pay.
Feb 22, 2025 · K. E.This is a mixed bag. We were there to see our son graduate Air Force BMT. When we get there on Tuesday I ask the lady if we could have our two rooms close together and she glanced at me and ignored the question. A simple “no we’re too full” would suffice. We get to the room and see that every door has a note explaining there’d be no water between 11 and 4 the following day. Why didn’t the front desk person tell us this at check in? So much for hanging out with our son at hotel that day. One of the rooms had someone else’s milk left in the fridge. So wasn’t a great start. The following day there was new staff up front. They were so great and friendly. Totally different than what we saw the first day. They have a decent lobby to hang out in. The rooms are ok but worn. Definitely not the standard In used to with Marriott owned locations.
Apr 26, 2025 · Darrin JenkinsVery clean. Close to just about everything san Antonio. The complimentary breakfast was solid. Don't expect a fine dine meal, but it will get you ready for the day. The rooms are great size. We had the 2 queen and fold out couch and that room is plenty size. Microwave, mini fridge and coffee maker provided. For a place to sleep and rest in between events. Great spot. Only thing I would knock and give a 4.5 is the placement of the tv lol.
Mar 23, 2025 · VOLKODAV WOLF CRUSHER LVWhile the staff was mostly exceptional, this property has several areas that require significant improvement. The lobby and elevator floors were noticeably dirty, and my room remained stuffy and humid throughout my stay, despite running the air conditioning. I arrived to find hair on the sink, which, combined with the overall lack of cleanliness, was concerning. The condition of the restroom was also disappointing, with broken tiles and visible mold. Additionally, many of the building’s structural elements appeared worn and in need of remodeling. There is also a charge for parking, which is perplexing — given the overall condition of the facility. I was desperate as the location is convenient for those needing quick access to the military base. Will consider different options in the future.
