My experience wasn’t so great. Unless it’s an emergency I don’t recommend staying here. The hotel does need a remodeling and renovation. Complete carpet removal. So upon arrival thee representative had great hospitality very welcoming. However the experience turned bad arriving at the room. I got to the room and the room had a dishwasher that once was white now it’s yellow and only one bed. My original booking I requested two beds. I immediately went back to the front desk and explained the issue. I asked the representative would there be an additional charge he stated there wouldn’t be. He was very accommodating quick to change the room. So the next afternoon I’m checking the charges on my card and I see a charge of $475 & $275 immediately I’m alarmed. I went to hotel and stopped at the front desk. Explained to the young lady there has to be a discrepancy because you have charged my card twice. I did arrive and I switched my room to what was my original booking two beds. I said and the gentleman never stated that there would be an additional charges. Come to find out he completely change to the rate so instead paying $150 per night I was charged $289 per night. If that nice young man would’ve simply said as any customer representative should “Maam I don’t mind accommodating you but I do want you be aware that there will be a change in the rate if I change the room just to let you know.” I didn’t that common courtesy at all just an automatic charge. The young lady stated there was nothing she could do and suggested I speak with a manager on Monday. I was definitely no happy on top of at 11pm at night the guest above me was stomping running and jumping to the point I had to call downstairs. Then the furnace was roaring as if had a V8 engine. The continental breakfast was questionable because there were plastic bags that food was being served on as if the attendant didn’t want to wash dishes so she used the bags to put the food in to make her job easier. The bath towels was stiff as a board. If I’m pay $289 I would’ve stayed downtown closer to the arena.

  • Studio and Multi-Bedroom Suites: The hotel features all-suite accommodations, offering a variety of room types including studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom suites. These rooms are designed with separate living and sleeping areas to provide a more comfortable, apartment-like feel.

  • Full Kitchens: A primary feature of every suite is a fully equipped kitchen with a full-size refrigerator, stovetop, microwave, and dishwasher, along with cookware and utensils. This allows guests to prepare their own meals, which is a major convenience and cost-saver for longer stays.

  • Complimentary Breakfast: The hotel offers a daily complimentary breakfast buffet. However, a customer review raised concerns about the quality and presentation of the breakfast, noting food was being served in "plastic bags." This suggests that the quality may vary, and it is a point to consider.

  • Pet-Friendly: The hotel is a pet-friendly establishment, allowing guests to bring their dogs for a fee. This is a highly valued service for those traveling with pets.

  • Indoor Pool and Hot Tub: There is an indoor pool and a hot tub available for guest use. A recent review noted that the hot tub was not hot and appeared dirty, which is a significant concern for those planning to use this amenity.

  • Free Wi-Fi and Laundry: The hotel provides free high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the property and offers complimentary, on-site guest laundry facilities, which are essential for extended stays.

  • The Social: The hotel has a program called "The Social," which offers complimentary evening drinks and appetizers on select nights, providing a great opportunity for guests to relax and socialize. A business center and meeting rooms are also available.

Staybridge Suites Milwaukee Airport South has several key features and highlights that are important for locals to consider.

  • Suite-Style Accommodations: The hotel’s primary highlight is its all-suite model. The spacious rooms with full kitchens and separate living areas provide a level of comfort and convenience that is hard to find in a traditional hotel, making it an excellent choice for long-term stays.

  • Friendly Staff: Despite some negative experiences with billing and management, a customer review noted that the initial front desk representative had "great hospitality" and was "very welcoming" and "accommodating." This indicates that some staff members are dedicated to providing excellent customer service.

  • Pet-Friendly Policy: The pet-friendly policy is a significant feature for many Wisconsin residents who travel with their dogs. This makes the hotel a more accessible option for a wider range of travelers.

  • Renovation and Remodeling Needs: Multiple guest reviews point to a need for "remodeling and renovation." One review mentioned issues with cleanliness, including stains, broken fixtures, and "filthy" conditions. This is a crucial highlight for potential guests who prioritize a clean and modern environment.

  • Pest Control Issues: A severe and alarming highlight from a customer review was the presence of "boxelder bugs" and "a roach" in the room. The customer's complaint about the hotel's response and their refusal to compensate for the unhygienic conditions is a major red flag for potential guests, indicating a serious issue with sanitation and management.

  • Billing Concerns: A customer review noted a significant and unexpected change in their nightly rate after a room change, leading to a surprise charge. This highlights a potential issue with communication and billing practices that guests should be cautious about and confirm in writing before agreeing to a change.

Do not stay at this hotel unless you like sleeping with bugs. We book are room for 8 days and left after 3 days. Honestly we should have left right away. We arrived on Sunday and on Monday started seeing boxelder bugs in the room. We complained at the front desk and was told that somebody would come and vacuum our room, they never did. They told us changing rooms would not make a difference and that this problem was throughout the whole hotel. We started to look around and found that they cut the window tracks to slide the windows open. They screwed a board so you couldn’t open the windows no more then 12 inches but never sealed that spot. See the picture attached. We felt that’s how they were getting in so we stuffed it with a washcloth, but didn’t help. Then on Tuesday night, we were finding them on the bed and that’s when we said we had enough. We spoke with the general manager. VEE VEE and told her we were leaving but wanted to be compensated for our rooms and she said no. I also complained to her about how dirty the hotel was. The hot tub was not hot and it had floating bugs in it and you could see where it needed to be drained and the tiles scrub down. The hallways were also dirty like they were never vacuumed. There were also dead bugs all over the pool area. They never cleaned it up. We stayed at this hotel five years ago for a month never saw a bug. It was very clean. Everything was excellent. I just couldn’t believe how this hotel changed in five years. Definitely could see there was a change in management and housekeeping.

Very pleased with the room (except rock-like bed) and location of the hotel. Very easy to get to from the airport. Maybe 5 minutes. What was miserable was the service. Gold elite member and desk agent can't give me eye contact? Doesn't acknowledge me mostly during check in all while.wrapped in a blanket to check me in. While I'm not expecting the red carpet to be rolled out for my 11pm arrival, a bit more professionalism would be welcomed.

3rd shift Employee/Manager Portia called the police on my family to have us removed from the hotel at 1:45 am. After providing an indirect initial warning, we put our children to bed and quieted down immediately. The next discussion that we had was with the police asking us to leave the building. The police officers even waited outside in their trucks (not the room) and allowed us to leave peacefully, showing little concern because we were respectful. We packed our bags leaving with small children in the middle of the night. Portia never officially checked us out after speaking with her and never gave us a final receipt. She was completing her homework in the back office and we had to ring the bell several times to even get her attention. We called and came back the next day to confirm that we were checked out officially and dispute charges for the last night. This was the worst experience that I ever had!! FYI- There were several large families in the hotel this weekend for a baseball tournament who were loud.

Orlando the desk employee needs to go. Period. Not only was he confrontational but he was possibly high. The entire reception area smelled like weed and he didn’t seem to notice it. He actually called the police on us during the stay multiple times (paranoid and stoned) saying our children were running the halls. Our kids were in bed at 9:30. Every time we went near reception the smell of weed intensified. Orlando seemed hell bent on throwing several families out of the hotel at 9:30 at night so he could smoke weed and entertain his friends.
