Wow… was there working in Erwin on Helena Clean up. At first all was okay the group I was with the supervisor decided to move us all to a different motel not really sure what the fall out was about nor did I really care. The guy paying the bill said we’re moving so with that being said I started packing our things next thing I know this foreign lady is yelling at us telling us to hurry up I’m thinking geesh we’re moving as fast as we can. Then she comes in our room starts grabbing our stuff throwing it out on the sidewalk. I’m like lady we just found out we’re moving I’m hurrying but apparently not fast enough for her finally after she broke my dehumidifier due to throwing it on the side walk I finally yelled at her and slammed the door in her face.. There must have been 20 other drivers they’re moving they’re things this woman was flipping her lid going on about I just bought a new car blah blah then she calls the cops. Kingsport finest show up even they could see the straight up ridiculousness in this situation… again I have no idea what happened between her and the supervisor but if she was acting like that with him I can see why he decided to cancel the rest of our stay there.. our entire group ended up at the Marriott conference center hotel he spared no expense.. I will never recommend anyone to stay there that owner is psycho… Beware if you stay. One more thing there was alot of homeless people around the area it seemed trashy you don’t want to go walking around outside after dark for sure… oh yea I forgot they advertise free breakfast “Not True” they have coffee and some hoho’s maybe a Twinkie.. Not Breakfast

This review also mentioned a perception of "homeless people around the area" and the area seeming "trashy" after dark, advising against walking outside. Additionally, while "free breakfast" is advertised, the review claimed it was "not true," describing it as only coffee and limited pre-packaged snacks like "hoho's maybe a Twinkie," suggesting the term "on-the-go breakfast" might be a more accurate description of the offering. These points highlight potential inconsistencies in guest experience and suggest that while the physical property may have undergone renovations, there could be challenges related to service and the immediate surrounding environment, which potential guests should consider.

Mar 25, 2025 · Terri PoppawSuper friendly, my room seemed new. Much of the property has been recently renovated
May 09, 2025 · Jon HousleyThe outside didn’t appear very nice from afar but up close it was fine and the location wasn’t concerning after stating , but he front desk attendant was very friendly and accommodating, the shower appeared to have painted over mold and the breakfast wasn’t really a breakfast but the stay was fine
Mar 24, 2025 · kayla zeitsI was cautious after reading the reviews but the only complaint I could come up with was low water pressure and that we could easily hear what was going on in the rooms next to us. Now for the positives. No one bothered us no bugs room was clean this room had the biggest and nicest tv of any room I’ve ever stayed in Pop machines at the end of each floor Very well lit area outside. Night time in the parking lot was quiet- not a lot of noise at all especially for a Saturday night. I’d come back.
