My boyfriend and I came from Florida to visit family. We really enjoyed our stay here. We both love music and so we definitely loved the wall collection of vinyl records and cassettes. The rooms have a vinyl turntable so we were able to choose from the collection and play in our room. The staff were so welcoming and provided excellent customer service. The hotel is walking distance from the boardwalk and to so many restaurants and shops. We definitely will stay again if ever in Asbury.

Off-season wedding - STAY AWAY! Heat doesn't work and it leaks! This place was really great in most respects, BUT, if you are thinking about an off-season wedding, go someplace else! Our event was a mild December evening with outside temps about 40 degrees. If you are considering this place, you know that the dining space is a semi-permanent glass tent – they will tell you that it stays warm, but it doesn’t!! Worse, if it rains the water seeps in along the entire perimeter and will soak all you guests’ long dresses – I know, it happened to us!! DO NOT BELIEVE THEM when they say the heating system is adequate for a cold night (our wedding night wasn’t even that cold); they have enough heat, but only 2 vents so in order to keep the center warm they blast the people on the outside. Then, when they complain, they turn the heat off and everyone is cold. If you want to plan you wedding here in off season (October – April) be sure your guest list is less than 140 people so that your guests don’t have to sit near the perimeter. Do not believe them that the tent is capable of handling a larger party! The worst part – the banquet manager (Theresa) could not have been more rude or uncaring; she literally said “what did you expect, it’s a tent”, and “your guests are just being babies”. I suppose there was really nothing she could do at that point, but a little understanding and compassion would have gone a long way. It’s a shame, because other than that, the venue was great (and so were ALL the staff other than banquet manager and event manager)

This place has a nice atmosphere in the common areas and is relatively close to the boardwalk but I have a few problems with this hotel. For the price that they charge per night these rooms are probably the smallest I’ve been in the area. It was lacking decor and wasn’t cozy. Sound proofing was non existent as you can hear every drunk person on the street at night. The diner is cute but a bit overpriced and they charge a %20 default tip. The biggest thing that irked me was that my room was missing a microwave and when I called the main lobby to ask if they have a microwave they told me they don’t have one. I’m a globalist for Hyatt and have stayed in many category 4+ hotels and they all had a microwave where I could reheat my food. I would not recommend this place to my family or friends. Save your money and go somewhere more cozy.

The staff was absolutely wonderful and super accommodating and helpful. We arrived earlier than the check in time, 11:15 a.m., and the gentleman at the front desk was extremely helpful and so kind and let us park(we paid for valet) when we arrived and held our luggage for us while we went out until our room was ready. They sent a text within a hour of or earlier arrival when it was ready about 12:30ish and our luggage had been delivered to our room. I would love to stay here again just because the staff was so wonderful. The hotel should be very proud of their staff and how friendly, helpful and welcoming they all were. HOWEVER, with that being said…….the noise from outside was absolutely horrible😔. We stayed the weekend of May 1st and I’m not sure what was being done, but at 3:30 in the morning on Sunday, we were awakened by multiple flatbed trucks that showed up and began setting up for something, not quite sure what they were doing. It was unbearable and I am here typing this review during all of this because I’m unable to sleep bc of the noise of the forklifts backing up constantly with the beeping sound when they back up. And for the money that we paid for our room, I would never stay here again. When we were checking in the man at the front desk said, this is one of the two nicest rooms we have and I would have to strongly disagree. We were in room 332, which was in the corner of the building and it makes sense that this room would be subject to more outside noise than other rooms. But I don’t know why in the world the town would have set up being done that was not an emergency situation at 3:30 in the morning on a Sunday. Very disappointing and upsetting. It’s extremely unfortunate since the staff is so wonderful, nice and helpful. But I could never justify spending the money we spent for one night to be woken up abruptly at 330am by forklifts backing up over and over and over again and the noise that the town created and felt was an acceptable time to do this. At the very least, the town could have communicated this to the hotel so they were able to give the guests a heads up that the noise would be louder than usual for 3 in the morning. Also the charging ports in the nightstands did not work and the windows definitely need better blinds and they should add curtains. The rooms are clean but the furniture it outdated and not the best.
