May 18, 2025 · Stephen WiedemerI came here to eat at the restaurant, so my review is based on that. I had the open face roast beef sandwich with mashed potatoes and my friend had the meatball sub with fries. My meal was good, but I don't think it was worth the price. I would try something different next time. Service was great.

May 05, 2025 · Sebastian GruberWe came with a motorcycle group for a 4 day weekend. The newer owners are absolutely amazing The rooms were clean and comfortable. The food was awesome. Right down to the homemade pies!!! We enjoyed the fire pit, outside bar, corn hole & most of all we enjoyed their hospitality. We won’t stay anywhere else.
Jun 02, 2024 · Stacy FernerWe went to cherry springs to stargaze for the Persieds and got a campsite in the state park. The roads weren't paved so my car wouldn't make it. We stopped at the black forest inn to see if there were rooms available, they had none. So we decided to eat there. Told them the situation and they sent us acrossed the street but that campground was closed for the night. The woman that was running the bar called another campground and asked them to stay a little late so we could make it. They weren't even open for tent sites yet, but they made one! I will probably spend every meteor shower in this area from now on. The people are great, and the sky is magnificent, the mountains are pretty great too. 10/10❤️
