I have not been here in some time and have never stayed in the rooms. I love the location and atmosphere. The bar is great! The food service and dining unfortunately falls in the middle of the road. Not great, not the worst. Awesome place for events with a nice bar game area, games do need some care and maintenance though.

Mar 17, 2024 · Tim MayoThis Motel is one of a kind, incredible. Property situated on the Bouquet river, every porch has two rockers facing the mountains. With amenities that feel five star, the rustic, knotty pine interior, gives a relaxing, cozy, cabin feel. Just a five minute drive to Giant Mountain East trail, for an Adirondack adventure 5,000 ft climb,or, you can hike, bike to the river on property. The restauraunt food and services, where top notch. Even if you don't stay the night, stop and get a meal. Star lit night sky is incredible, can easily see the milkyway. Dog friendly.
Feb 19, 2024 · Joe GrismerThe room was exactly as described on the website and was beautifully decorated. There was ample wood throughout and the fixtures were modern, yet rustic in appearance. The bath tub was deep and comfortable for taking both baths and showers. While we didn't check out the patio (it was 0 F outside!), it was spacious and would be a perfect spot to unwind on milder evenings. We had a small issue with the radiator in our room, but the owner was very friendly, communicative, and helpful in resolving it - even later in the evening. I hope to return soon - highly recommend.
Feb 17, 2021 · Yuvraj RamsaywackBottom line: A fantastic place to stay on the Adirondacks - beautiful area, clean, unique cabin style rooms, and super friendly owner!!! I highly recommend!! We stayed here over labor day weekend and I'm so happy we found this place!! We chatted with the owner a bit and he told us a bit of how he worked with a few friends to design and build the property and you can really see those personal touches!! Every room has a private porch with views of the mountains. The owner has been working on improving the property - there are some fruit trees and a path to the river in the back. The river has some benches if you want to admire the view. The room itself if smartly designed and ours had a HUGE bathtub which I certainly took advantage of! There was tons of hot water from a wood burning heater in the yard which not only supplied my bath, it also created the delicious smell of campfire all weekend. The motel is new (they only opened in June 2019), so I recommend staying here before it gets too popular!! It's a good distance from lots of amazing hiking trails and a short drive to Lake Placid. We didn't get a chance to eat at the attached restaurant, but everything smelled great and there was a back outdoor seating deck that would have been lovely to eat at.
