We had such a great time at the Spruce Lodge over the holiday weekend! Keith and his wife (and Jennifer) really go out of their way to make you feel welcomed and to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The rooms are simple and clean, with everything you could want. The bathroom is small, so I would think carefully about sharing the room with more than one other person. The breakfast spread is really good and they even lit a bonfire for two of the nights we were there. My partner proposed to me while we were in the area and Keith and his wife helped him with a lot of the planning. They also had flowers and chocolates waiting for us when we got back, which was a really nice touch. I can’t say enough good things about this place!

We stayed during the solar eclipse. Keith was incredibly kind and accommodating, providing a tasty breakfast, delicious charcuterie at lunch time, eclipse glasses and a perfect viewing location, and even offering to grill burgers for the guests in the evening. He let us stay in our room all afternoon while waiting for the eclipse, even though most hotels would have made us check out. The room was comfortable and clean and I would definitely recommend staying here!

We stayed at a hotel last night. The service was excellent. This hotel appears to be run by a family. Those people are quite warm and welcoming. They provided us with several great local spots. The room was wonderful. The best thing that we loved also the bed was really comfy, like at a 5-star hotel, and the room was quite clean. Breakfast was fantastic because it was made by homemade. We would come back for sure.

Hands down the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at to go skiing. Was 4 minutes from the mountain and the service was amazing. We were greeted with a campfire and s’mores. The rooms were beautiful and kept very well. The breakfast was better than any other hotel breakfast I’ve ever had. The manager, Keith was so kind to my family. He was very accommodating and even drove us to the ski mountain so we did not have to deal with parking. He made sure we had the best stay possible and this trip wouldn’t have been as enjoyable without him. Would come back in a heartbeat!

We had an awesome stay here! Our room was clean and comfortable, and the garden view from our backyard seating area was awesome. Keith is extremely welcoming and went out of his way to give us excellent tips for our planned kayaking and hiking outings. A few steps away from the North Pole general store where you can rent kayaks and explore the nearby river. It was very quiet and relaxing. Thanks for a great stay!!
