Nice little hotel with a view of the lake. Design gives a warm vibe and is super cool. The service was great with friendly employees and a warm welcome. The only downsides are the poorly soundproofed rooms (not that bad) and the fact that you have to cross the street to the main hotel to sometimes get service or drinks (maybe because it was a weekday). I would definitely go back!

Oct 24, 2024 · Mag BouMy first time at the High Peaks Resort and it was amazing! Helpful and friendly staff, beautiful rooms that are spotless, and a wonderful restaurant! I'll be back!
Apr 28, 2025 · Amy SchirmerStayed on a Sunday night. Rooms were clean, staff friendly and helpful, and being close to the lake was nice! Free champagne offered when checking in. This place offers a more rustic atmosphere than the main resort.
Oct 24, 2024 · AL fromlaThe lake house has a good location. I can view the beauty of the mirror lake from my room. It also close to Italian restaurants and gift shops. It is like you are walking to a small beautiful village. If you would like to use the outdoor pool, pedal boat or kayak, you have to cross the street. The rooms were not sound proof, and pets were allowed. Some dogs were walking around the units unleashed that I find not safe for small children. No workers in the recreation area. The indoor pool is very outdated, slippery, and no tiles at all. They need to renovate this. The indoor pool in the main hotel is much better but you have to cross the street. The pillows were too old that the cotton were already scattered and needs replacement. They need to buy new pillows. The water in the bathroom was clean and has a good pressure. The housekeeping was good.
Sep 01, 2024 · Annie SmittThe resort is ideally located at the end of Main Street in Lake Placid. Our dog friendly room was clean, with a balcony overlooking Mirror Lake. The pools and the lake amenities like kayaks, canoes, and paddle boats were nearby. Staff was extraordinarily friendly and proficient. Certainy worth the price.
