Enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Boha Hotel. It is conveniently placed close to everything and on the Main Street but still quiet. The easiest check in and check out I’ve ever had. I was worried at first about sleeping as I could hear the other rooms conversations and laughing clearly through the walls, but as soon as 10 pm hit everyone went silent and it stayed very quiet until 7 am. I was able to sleep well. The king mattress was firm, but not too firm. The rooms are a nice size and very clean with a microwave, coffee maker and fridge. The heat in the room was great from someone who is always cold. The shower pressure and hot water temp was also great. The bath towels were so plush! My only suggestion which is very minor would be a full length mirror somewhere in the main room. That way if the bathroom is occupied there is still a mirror in the main area to continue getting ready. Besides that my stay at the Boha Hotel was lovely and I will definitely be staying again on my next trip to Lake Placid. Note: Photos taken after my stay, right before checking out. I forgot to take photos upon arrival.

Feb 25, 2025 · Diana DickI can't believe I haven't stayed here sooner! Great value for such a cute and cozy stay. The room had everything we needed and our pup had a good time too! Easy check in, super close to the main street so easy to walk around. When we arrived we even had a nice warm campfire to welcome us!
Dec 27, 2024 · Jonathan PueblaWe stayed here during the very snowy President's Day weekend this year. Communication with the hotel was wonderful. We arrived earlier than check-in and they were so accommodating to let us park our car and walk into town to spend the day. Location is perfect - just outside of busy main street but close enough to walk. The rooms are simple, clean, and very homey. We had stayed at another hotel in Tupper Lake the night before and this was like heaven compared to that stay. The thing I really want to highlight is the customer service. We were supposed to check out on Monday morning, but our car would not start (btw what a debacle in a town without a rental car agency and no ubers/lyfts available, in the middle of a snowstorm). Management let us stay wellllll past the regular late checkout time while we figured out how we would get back home (2.5 hours away) with our 5 year old and then OK'ed our car staying in their lot until it could get a tow the following day. We were immensely grateful. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, or at another property owned by White Rainbow. They know how to take care of their guests.
Apr 05, 2025 · Laura BenderRooms are beautifully redone, but like some other reviews have said there is no soundproofing. Neighboring units were unbelievably loud and kept us up until 2am. Beds were very uncomfortable, like sleeping on a box spring.
Feb 15, 2025 · Rachel Daley2/2025-unfortunately you can’t leave 2 separate google reviews. I did want to comment on my second stay with the Boha. I stayed there with my coaches for competition. We got a lock off unit with 2 separate bathrooms and beds wich shared a microwave and kuerig. I had kuerig in my room and they had microwave in theirs. While we were respecting eachothers privacy and weren’t home at the same times as they had other students competing, we each called for an extra keurig for their room as well as a microwave for mine. Staff responded immediately and brought us what we needed. They staff is very nice i cant stay enough good things about the manager Ahki, and receptionists anna and paloma as well as another staff member yuri. It says alot for the hotel chain if their staff is continued to stay with them. My coaches were unaware of this property before their stay with me and will definitely be staying there on their many returns to Lake Placid. 2/2024-We have stayed at this property with the previous owners for many many years close to 15 years. We were sad to hear that they sold. However, the new brand white rainbow that has bought and renovated the property and hotel has done a beautiful job. We loved the new decor in the rooms. I also want to say thank you to the new staff Yuri, Paloma, and Anna from the moment i called and booked my 2 days they were such a pleasure. The staff was more than happy to keep a look out for the extra day that i was hoping to stay, sure enough they let me know the moment the extra day opened up. We also let them know when we arrived to the town of lake placid and as soon as our room was ready they let us know. Its very beautiful and peaceful here I would highly recommend staying at this property. You will not be disappointed. The new staff is wonderful, we hope anyone who stays enjoys it as much as we do. We will definitely be continuing to stay here with the new brand of owners.
