Nov 11, 2024 · Jacob AndrewHad such a wonderful stay at the Essex Inn! The room was super clean and tidy, and the customer service was exceptional. Rachelle was amazing and always available to ensure we had a fantastic experience. We dined at the Inn’s restaurant both nights and thoroughly enjoyed both meals – the service and food were spectacular. On Essex Day, we had great Bloody Mary’s at the bar mixed by Rachelle. Breakfast down the road at "Pink Piggy" was also fantastic. My husband and I had a lovely stay and will definitely stay here again. Thank you so much! We will absolutely be back if we’re in the area!
Aug 04, 2024 · Norma SchroederThis place and the staff were amazing. They were very accommodating to my partner and I, as we were on a bike tour and got caught in some rain. They provided a secure place for our bikes and Tommy even drove to pick up food for us as nothing was within riding distance before they all closed. Thanks again Tommy. The room was cozy and the breakfast was very tasty. Highly recommend!

Nov 20, 2024 · Sue HansenCouldn't have asked for a better place to stay for a couple of days. Amazing people, so nice and accommodating, we were beyond happy. Everyone made us feel very welcomed and part of the family. So nice. From the cleaning staff to the bartender and, of course, Rachelle, Tom, and family. The rooms were so nice. Clean, well decorated, well stocked, and very comfortable. The lounge was warm and cozy. The view was really nice from the upstairs deck, too. The food was amazing. Drinks were great. Dinner was excellent, and dessert was so good it should have a warning. We'll definitely be back, and we can't wait. Classic charm, modern comfort, great people, excellent food... what more could someone ask for?
