Had a nice opportunity to stay at the end and enjoy an absolutely wonderful meal by the owner chef and host, Lenora. Best place we stayed on our weeklong trip on the GAP trail. Not far off the trail and in a very quiet neighborhood. Wonderfully prepared breakfast in the morning and great conversation with the owner.

Oct 11, 2024 · Robert LanceyWe stayed at Lenora’s Inn for one night during our bike trip from Pittsburgh to Cumberland (GAP trail- get off at mile 102, and then another less than a mile to Lenora’s Inn). I would say this is the best B&B experience. We would like to give 5 stars for service, food, and room. Service: When we arrived, Lenora was waiting for us at her porch, and served us with fresh cool lemon water, homemade cookies, and some chips. This is definitely best snacks you could have after a long day biking in a summer day. Although we couldn’t have dinner at Lenora’s (as reservation only), Lenora did give us info for deliveries in town, so that we didn’t waste time to search around. We walked around in town after dinner, and Lenora provided us some guide book too. The morning before we departed, she offered us two bags of snacks with granola bars, peanuts, apples and water to have on the way. And she told us if there’s any emergency happened to us, she’ll be there for us. This is very very sweet. Breakfast: two-course meal. It starts with fruit platters. Then a plate with eggs, sausages, potato pancake, and FRENCH TOAST! The homemade French toast is the best I have ever had (even compared to many Michelin star restaurants). It’s a must have! Room: sparkling clean! It provides everything you need (including vanity sets, makeup removal towels for girls, and knit sets). The bed is very comfy (it’s a harder mattress, and good for my back). And the room is probably the most quiet you could ever stay. We felt very recharged the following morning. Overall, our review is very positive, and we felt we were truly being taken care of for the whole time during our stay at Lenora’s Inn! Thank you very much, Lenora! Definitely would go back if we’re passing around the town. Recommendations for future guests: if you want to have dinner at Lenora’s (not only is it the finest restaurant in town, but would be a great restaurant anywhere), make sure to have dinner reservations ahead of time! Lenora wants to be able not only to buy ingredients and serve fresh.
May 29, 2024 · Dan ChengThis was probably the nicest Bed and Breakfast I have ever stayed at. After a long day of riding, Lenora greeted us with cool lemon water and freshly baked (still warm) chocolate chip cookies. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. Dinner was fabulous. Everyone in our party enjoyed dinner of hot rolls, steak, salmon etc. In the morning we had fresh coffee and breakfast on her front porch. It was lovely. Lenora is kind and just a lovely person. Her property is very nice. The entire experience was first class.
Oct 03, 2023 · Karen MThis is an amazing Inn with amazing hosts! We were greeted by Lenora with cookies and water. The room was clean and comfortable but the best thing is the food and the hosts! Breakfast was delicious and when we were leaving she sent us on our way with a travel bag of bottled water, an apple and other snacks. Will definitely stay here again, and for the person who was complaining about not being able to go in for dinner the night they stayed…..she used reservations so she can plan the meal and buy ingredients fresh for the amount of people booked. If you complain about that then go to the Holiday Inn and leave the rooms here to people who appreciate the effort she puts into making everything special.
Jan 08, 2024 · Michelle McBurneyThis place is really a hidden gem. Immediately upon arrival, we were created with Mrs. Lenora herself. She offered us lemon water and homemade cookies. Our room was amazing and super clean. The restaurant might be our new favorite place to eat. Food was unbelievably fantastic. Everyone was super friendly and accommodating. Even the guests at the hotel was super easy to talk to and as friendly as they come (Heidi and John). We will be back in November for my daughter and husbands birthday. Loved it. Also, whoever wrote the 1 star review must be a serious Karen. There’s not one complaint about this place. Beth & Bernie Williams
