Nov 27, 2024 · Aleksandra GralaFor a budget hotel, I was impressed! As a female traveling solo, I felt comfortable and safe here. The room was clean, bed was soft, and the staff was nice. Parking was accessible on the street and was easy to find a spot. The wubway is only a few blocks away. It's a no frills hotel, so no breakfast, but a coffee maker in the room worked just fine and there's a fridge if you want to keep anything cold. I would definitely stay here again!
Sep 02, 2024 · Jen VRoom reservation was canceled without notification and when I arrived they told me they rebooked my room for someone else. Tried to call ahead of time to make sure booking was still active and no one was at the desk during their scheduled on-site hours. Receptionist was absolutely useless
Sep 29, 2024 · David KlimowiczIt's not like the bigger, chain hotels that most people are probably used to. The space is small. When you walk in, the check in desk is there and it's very narrow. The workers were friendly, but I don't think their number on their website is accurate because we tried calling a handful of times 1-2 days before our check in date and nobody picked up. Our room was literally directly next to the check in desk and the room was small. There was really no room to walk around or lounge in other areas because the bed took up the majority of the space, then there was a bathroom. The place overall was clean and served its purpose as somewhere to sleep and use the bathroom, so no complaints there. Just don't expect any of the other things that a bigger hotel chain may have. The biggest con was definitely how noisy everything is. You can literally hear everything! You can hear when people come in, leave, walk up/down the stairs, and you can hear them talking. It can definitely be hard to sleep if you're a light sleeper. The area itself seemed fine... it was like a 10 minute walk to the subway station, so not bad at all.
Dec 07, 2023 · Karen NEven though a bit small, which I expected for NYC, the room was nice and cozy. It had everything you need for a few day stay including a fridge, safe, microwave and more. The service was good. The lady at the reception gave us a list of things to visit in the area, which was very helpful. The location isn't the greatest, it takes about 30-45minutes to get to Downtown Manhattan. Especially later in the evening the area is rather sketchy. Still a great stay.
