Get directionsThis is a beautiful little resort. The staff was friendly and the rooms were fresh and clean. That water pressure was on POINT. We booked a room with breakfast included. The Oaks was open at 7:30am. Waitress was pleasant, and the food was delicious! When checking in, they did not advise that there's a $40 limit on "included breakfast." We only spent $5 over, but even if we had to pay for the entire meal, it was well worth it. We were here for a wedding and did not stay long enough to take advantage of boat rentals, but we were impressed enough that this hotel has been added to our weekend getaway list. There's a fun little bar across the way, Sandbar, and their food was also delicious. It was an easy walk from the hotel. Kudos to the receptionist, Mary!

A very special thank you to Lauren, our event coordinator, who was absolutely phenomenal! Lauren made the entire planning process feel easy, handled every detail with so much care, and made sure the day of the wedding was flawless. Her organization, kindness, and calmness made all the difference we truly couldn’t have asked for anyone better! The hospitality from the entire staff was unmatched. Every question we had, every need that popped up, they handled quickly and gracefully it felt like they genuinely wanted us to have the best day of our lives. Even the small details we didn’t think of, they were already one step ahead making sure everything was perfect. The venue itself is absolutely stunning it looked beautiful in person and photographed even better! Apr 27, 2025 · Chervonda BlakeStayed there this WKnd over Valentine's, resort is a strong word....rooms are dated but they are on the water, we had a water view room and the back door went right outside which was nice for our dog. They have the Oaks which is an upscale restaurant and the marina which you can take a path and walk to as well. There is no in room microwave but a community one by the elevators which we thought was strange. The room fridge is pretty small as well. The shower is the highlight in the room, it has amazing pressure, it's like a power wash and you don't want to get out, very hot water too. 🚿 There is coffee provided in the lobby and it's not great. Our bed was super firm so our hips were bothering us after 1 night. No breakfast included, you have to go to the restaurants and room service/delivery prices are NOT worth it. Many near by breakfast joints to go to. We didn't have great weather this WKnd so Fri was the best day to walk around and explore. The lobby is pretty with a fireplace, no bar in the hotel but there is a small convenience area with beer/wine you can purchase. We do travel with our small dog, so glad they are pet friendly. We had an overall great time exploring the area and enjoyed bell mountain and the graffiti rocks and views from the top, best to have 4WD to get up there.💓
Feb 18, 2025 · Cindy GI cannot say enough good things about The Ridges Resort. One of the best decisions we made was deciding to have our wedding here. From working with the staff to plan the day, deciding on menus, ceremony & reception set up, and keeping our boat at the marina, the day was flawless. Our family and friends that stayed at the resort loved it. This is truly an all-inclusive experience! There isn’t a thing I would change about the entire day.
May 04, 2025 · Olivia GladinWe stayed here for a few days in mid-April and enjoyed it overall. Our family stayed in a villa/condo which was very spacious - two good sized bedrooms plus a pull-out couch and two good sized full bathrooms as well as a kitchen. The room was relatively clean although there were numerous cobwebs throughout which leads me to believe it had been unoccupied for a while. The location was great and easily walkable to boat rental and the lobby/lodge with a short drive to numerous restaurant options or beautiful hiking trails. Probably the most noticeable lapse for me was the staff - there were not a lot of workers (which is fine understanding it was non-peak season) but the few we interacted with generally seemed rather negative (heads down, mumbling, etc.). I understand it's non-peak season so they're not fully staffed, but the general demeanor of many of the staff here was a stark contrast to hospitality workers at similar tourist areas in the Appalachians or even larger resort-town destinations (or even friendly restaurant workers down the street).
