May 01, 2025 · Mark SalinasThe hotel is nice, the rooms are on the small side and don't have a fridge but they are decent. The breakfast we paid for with our room was pretty picked through and we got their around 9am (closes at 11). Last night we got back to the hotel around 12 and saw the security guard, however, when we went to sleep that night someone managed to break into about 7 trucks looking for guns, ours included. The best they said they could do was give us points and a complimentary breakfast but since we already ate, we still paid for it. From what we understood, this has been a frequent situation that happens in their parking lot. Beware of this if you stay here, we were not parked far.
May 24, 2025 · Tara Ilalan DeanRJ was incredibly welcoming and attentive throughout my stay. He is always greeting guests with genuine warmth, offering helpful directions, and making everyone feel truly cared for. Their professionalism and kindness made a real difference. We also had dinner at the bar. The waitress was amazing so did the chef.
Apr 26, 2025 · Jazzie KWe arrived late on a Friday night and the room had a horrific smell, the tub was pealing and looked to be dirty. The bed spread had stains on it so we laid on top of the covers. We were very tired so we slept for a few hours. The next morning we were able to move rooms and we were given free breakfast for 3. Thanks We went to the truck and someone broke into it. Luckily they did not steal anything. The funny thing is that the same night the hotel experienced about 20 break ins. Also, funny that they had a golf cart with lights patrolling the parking lot when we arrived around 12am. This is absolutely ridiculous! Do not stay here, San Antonio PD said this was a common occurrence. Staff was nice but we will never stay here again.
May 27, 2025 · Jerod HurstBe prepared to be nickel and dimed to death at this hotel. I had much higher expectations from a Westin. First, the good: the lobby is nice enough, big and bright with lots of seating at the hotel lounge/bar area, the bed in the room was very comfortable, and there is starbucks coffee on site (available for purchase of course, and not open their posted hour so good luck finding it open). Other than those three things, this place is awful. There’s no breakfast provided, and the only restaurant on site has breakfast prices that start at $16 per person. There is no microwave available in the rooms, if you want to heat something up you have to find the lone microwave located in the tiny “store” located next to the lobby that has no sign. Would you like more bottled water for the coffee machine (usually provided at no cost by housekeeping in other hotels), nope, have to buy it from the secret store. Want WiFi? That will cost you a minimum of $10 per day for basic and $15 for faster. There are two pools, indoor and outdoor with a ln outdoor hot tub, but the indoor one smelled overwhelmingly like chlorine and the outdoor one was filthy, the bottom lined with leaves. Oh, and there is no fan in the bathroom so the room gets horribly humid when you shower. Taking a normal shower the windows in the bedroom were dripping with condensation, enough to cause pools of water on the windowsills. I can only imagine the amount of mold and mildew that is growing in the hidden areas of the room. The room is dated and dingy and doesnt match the look of the lobby. Locations: this place isn’t close to anything good that San Antonio has to offer. There’s only chain restaurants within walking distance, and nothing to do, so if you don’t have a car be prepared to pay $20 for an uber anytime you want to head into the interesting part of town. Oh, and no shuttle around town or to the airport either. The hotel bar, though it has amble seating with tvs to watch, has the most expensive drinks I’ve ever had at a basic hotel bar. A modelo was $8 and my basic gin and tonic was $19 without tip. We didn’t have a car, but that’s probably a good thing as there were signs warning not to leave anything in your car due to break ins. The parking lot is not secured in any way. The Westin name made me assume this place would have guest services and amenities in mind, but I was wrong. I would never stay here again.
