Environment and Location:

The primary draw of Tiger Creek Falls Inn is its exceptional natural environment. The resort is nestled directly on a property featuring two beautiful cascading waterfalls, including one that is 30 feet high, with the rushing Tiger Creek flowing through. Guests can enjoy the soft, calming sounds of the falls directly from their windows and from multiple comfortable chairs on various decks throughout the property. Grandpa, one of the owners, has built easy-to-walk trails with handholds that wind around the forest and lead right to the edge of the waterfalls, offering enchanting walks and picturesque picnic spots by the creek side. Features and Accommodations:

Tiger Creek Falls Inn offers a variety of accommodation types, including rooms, suites, and cabins, often described as uniquely decorated and furnished. These cater to different needs and group sizes. Key features include:

  • Waterfall Views: A significant highlight, many suites offer at least a partial view of the small waterfall on the property, with all rooms being just a minute's walk from viewing decks. Sleeping with the window open to the sounds of the falls is a frequently praised experience.

  • Fully Equipped Kitchens: A major convenience, especially for longer stays or families, is the availability of fully equipped kitchens in some of the units. These typically include a stove, full-sized refrigerator/freezer, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, silverware, can opener, and pots and pans, allowing for self-catering.

  • Comfortable Beds: Guest reviews frequently praise the beds for being exceptionally comfortable, contributing to a restful night's sleep with the soothing sounds of the falls.

  • Spacious and Clean Rooms: Rooms and suites are described as large, clean, and pleasingly decorated. While some older reviews mention quirky floor plans due to the building's contour (e.g., L-shaped bathrooms, toilet in a tiny nook), the emphasis remains on comfort and cleanliness. All units are individually decorated and furnished.

  • Private Decks/Patios: All units come with decks or patios, often equipped with new BBQ grills, allowing guests to enjoy the outdoor environment and sounds of the creek.

  • In-Room Amenities: Standard room amenities include air conditioning and heating (climate-controlled), a flat-screen TV with satellite channels (including Direct TV), and free toiletries, hairdryer, towels, and soap in the bathroom. Some rooms also include a fireplace for added ambiance.

  • Variety of Room Types: The inn offers a range of options, including one, two, and three-bedroom units, accommodating different group sizes from couples to larger families. Specific examples include "Waterfall Retreat" suites (such as King/Full Kitchenette, Private Deck Suite, Quaint Suite, Balcony Suite), Riverfront Rooms, and Family/Cozy Cabins, with specific bed configurations available. Laptop-friendly workspaces are also available in some units.

Promotional Information and Guest Experience:

As a family-owned and operated establishment, Tiger Creek Falls Inn might offer promotions directly through its website or upon inquiry. While specific, widely advertised promotions are not as common as with larger chains, guests might find special rates for extended stays, seasonal discounts, or packages focused on local activities. For instance, a 10% discount is offered to military personnel, fire, police, EMS, and first responders, as mentioned in some promotional content. Guests looking for "Hotels Near Of Me" often find Tiger Creek Falls Inn to be a unique and good value option.

Guest reviews consistently highlight the unique appeal of Tiger Creek Falls Inn. The "soft, gentle, and so calming sounds of the falls" are a recurring theme, creating a truly peaceful atmosphere that many find incredibly relaxing. The cleanliness of the rooms, the helpful and friendly staff (often praised for being "very nice people" and "accommodating"), and the comfortable beds are frequently commended. Guests particularly appreciate the convenience of fully equipped kitchens in some units. While some feedback mentions minor design quirks, such as potential noise bleed through interconnecting room doors or bright security lights at night (suggesting blackout curtains would be a nice addition), these are generally outweighed by the overwhelmingly positive aspects. The property's unique natural setting and the value it offers for the price are frequently cited as reasons for a great getaway. The location is also highly praised for its proximity to Clayton, offering restaurants and a Walmart Super Center, and to major attractions like Tallulah Gorge State Park, Tiger Mountain Vineyards, and Lake Rabun. The combination of comfortable, well-equipped accommodations, friendly service, and the enchanting natural feature of the private waterfalls makes Tiger Creek Falls Inn a highly recommended and unique "Hotels Near Of Me" destination for those visiting Tiger, GA, and the surrounding North Georgia Mountains.

This is a beautiful location, the family that operates it are very nice people, the rooms are clean, and it is reasonably priced. The town of Clayton is just minutes away, with all amenities. Most of the suites have at least a partial view of the small waterfall on the property, and the rest are only a minute's walk away from the viewing deck. The only reason that I withhold the last star is the design of the place. Most of the rooms interconnect, and the noise bleed through those doors can be annoying- the gap under one of ours was about a full inch. The rooms were built to the contour of the hollow which leaves some of them with some odd floor plans; the bathroom in our last room was L-shaped, with the toilet in a tiny nook, and the sink in the main room. Blackout curtains would be nice, as the security lights keep the window shades lit brightly at night. Overall, this place is a great getaway at the price. The picture was taken the day after there were flood warnings in the area. Not to worry, the rooms are far above the deck. The creek is normally much more placid!

This is a great little place to stay. Grannie is awesome and the sweetest person you'll ever meet! Even the housekeeper is awesome! They are willing to help you in any way possible. The rooms are very cozy. Waterfalls are just a few yards away. Very good location. It's right in the middle of a lot of parks and attractions. We will definitely be coming back!

A hidden gem in the mountains near Tallulah Gorge. The cabins are plenty spacious and quaint. It's a unique experience nestled on the mountainside with waterfalls outside the window. Locally owned and operated for that personal touch. We got food recommendations from the owner that were amazing. 5 minutes from downtown Clayton!

This place is absolutely amazing! Granny and Lanna are super nice and helpful, the rooms are very clean and are replinished daily, and the waterfall at the bottom of the hill is very relaxing. There are many things to around the area as well. We will definitely be recommending and revisiting Tiger Creek Falls Inn! You will not be disappointed!
